Abstract

The role of local governments in regional development planning is to have the authority and ability to manage and implement regional development programs. Because local governments play a role in determining the success of the process of implementing government activities and regional development. Judging from the policy of the central government to ratify the regional plan document, the community is not satisfied, because the ratification of the regional development plan document by the central government is not based on the plan document submitted to the central government. The purpose of this study is to:) describe and analyze the role of local governments as entrepreneurs, coordinators, facilitators, and stimulators in regional development planning. b) describe and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors of the role of local government in regional development planning in general. The methods used are; qualitative descriptive, which describes the real situation in the field. The findings in the field are that local governments as entrepreneurs, coordinators, facilitators, and stimulators will involve sectors of each existing ministry to participate in the Regional Development Commission team to verify, evaluate, and supervise priority regional development planning programs.

Abstract

This research explores the concept of geometry in the architectural symmetry of Toba Batak traditional houses. The main focus is on the symmetry patterns that exist in the layout, decoration and structural elements of this traditional house. This research aims to investigate the concept of geometric symmetry in Toba Batak traditional houses, with a focus on cultural values, philosophy and visual harmony reflected in architectural design. Data was obtained through literature studies which included scientific journals, books, articles and previous research. The results of this research not only provide a deeper understanding of Indonesia's rich culture, but also have the potential to contribute to the preservation of Toba Batak traditional houses and cultural heritage as a whole. By understanding the role of geometric symmetry in this traditional house, this article opens insight into how this element is an integral part of the architectural heritage of the Toba Batak tribe, explores deeper cultural values, and introduces new literature in the context of traditional Indonesian architecture.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of using the Team Assisted Individualization cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of Indonesian Language in the Explanatory Text material for sixth grade students at SDN. This research was conducted at SD NEGERI 104202 Bandar Setia, located on Jln. Terusan, Dusun V Bandar Setia, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province, in the even semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. This study used a quasi-experimental design and a nonequivalent control group design. The sample size was 40 students, determined using total sampling. The results of the study were obtained from the Independent Sample T Test with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The N-Gain test results obtained an N-Gain Score of 0.5500, and the N-Gain test score in this study was classified as moderate. Meanwhile, the N-Gain percent score was 54.9991, which according to the N-Gain test classification, means that this study was quite effective. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the Team Assisted Individualization cooperative learning model had an effect and was quite effective on the Indonesian language learning outcomes for the Explanatory Text material in grade VI of SD Negeri 104202 Bandar Setia.
