Abstract

In achieving the target of national education, formal or non-formal, the role of a teacher is vital. Of the roles to be played by the teacher, providing good model for the students is seen as effective and efficient. In this case, the students would see not only how to develop their cognitive aspect but also affective and psychomotor aspects. To be specific with Islamic education, providing good model is effective in internalizing Islamic values to the students.

Abstract

Al-Qur’an as the main source of ethical decision in Islam providessome models of teaching, especially for children. This paper focused on educational concepts in Islam based on story of Luqman al-Hakim. According to him, Islamic educational concepts consist of Islamic monotheism, worship, amar ma’ruf nahi mungkar, and akhlakul karimah.

Abstract

IAIN Tulungagung is one of the PTKIN who has a vision of "the formation of an academic community based on the principles of science, morality, culture, and the spirit of Islam rahmatan lil 'naturalin. New students must follow the Madrasah Diniyah (Madin) activities to learn and deepen the knowledge of the Islamic religion. It is seen that IAIN Tulungagung students have various levels of understanding of Islamic knowledge, ranging from those who cannot read the letters of the Qur'an to those who can read the yellow book. Because of that, IAIN made Madin program, one of which was the learning program of Reading and Writing Al-Qur'an. This research method used descriptive qualitative research with a percentage. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, documentation and questionnaires. Based on research with qualitative data analysis on the focus of the problem of how the organization of reading and reading Al-Qur'an with the Al-Nahdliyah method, the results were obtained that 1) the reasons for selecting students to follow BTQ learning in the most order were a) because they felt unable to read Al -Qur'an properly and correctly, b) because they wanted to deepen BTQ, c) because it was told by parents / guardians. 2) The BTQ learning begins at 07.00 to 08.30 Monday to Thursday. Before the implementation, the BTQ coordinator determined the cleric who was teaching. 3) Evaluation of BTQ learning results from 2,734 people, who passed 2,297 people or 84%, passed conditional 138 people or 5%, and did not pass 290 people or 11%. 4) The inhibiting factors and the solution was the inhibiting factors of BTQ learning, namely low motivation from students and lack of student discipline. The solution is by explaining the importance of BTQ learning.

Abstract

This article raises issues related to the development of increasingly sophisticated technology with the aim of making human life more flexible and enjoyable with the presence of Artificial Intelligence. The ease of accessing all work can make people forget their existence as God's perfect creatures and it is easier to deny the order that is in accordance with Kalamullah. The presence of I'jaz Ilmi is to show the greatness of the Al-Qur'an regarding the scientific facts hinted at by the Book of Allah. The method use in this paper is descriptive-qualitative-historical which prioritizes the decomposition of data based on historical sequence combined with library research. The results of this research are that the study of i'jaz ilmi based on scientific facts in the Qur'an has been proven that the book brought by Muhammad was not an encyclopedia of science, but in the centuries since the revelation of the Qur'an it has answered future problems such as the occurrence of humans originating from soil/thin which in the science of emberiology developed in 19th century. Miracles regarding scientific facts in the Qur'an provide a signal to humanity to take lessons or i'tibar.
