Abstract

Berdasarkan data dari World Health Organization (WHO) menjelaskan pemberian ASI Eksklusif pada bayi sampai usia 6 bulan tanpa tambahan cairan ataupun makanan lain. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa pedoman internasional yang menganjurkan pemberian ASI Eksklusif selama 6 bulan pertama didasarkan pada bukti ilmiah tentang manfaat ASI bagi bayi, pertumubuhan dan perkembangannya. Data yang diperoleh dari profil Dinas Kesehatan Kota Palembang bayi yang mendapatkan ASI Eksklusif yaitu sebanyak 36,94% pada tahun 2021 meningkat menjadi 62,6% pada tahun 2022. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan dan pekerjaan ibu dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif di Puskesmas Palembang tahun 2023. Metode penelitian ni adalah survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua ibu yang membawa bayi umur 7-12 bulan yang datang berkunjung ke Puskesmas Sosial pada tanggal 18Februari 2023 - 21 Februari 2023 dengan sampel 35 responden secara accidental sampling. Analisa yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji statistik Chi-Square dengan komputerisasi dengan batas bermakna α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian dari 35 responden dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif 40,0% dan yang tidak memberikan ASI Eksklusif 60,0%, ibu yang berpengetahuan baik sebanyak 80,0% dan yang berpengetahuan kurang 20,0%, dan ibu yang bekerja sebanyak 37,1% dan yang tidak bekerja 62,9%. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan ada hubungan bermakna antara pengetahuan dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif, dimana p value 0,027 dan tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara pekerjaan dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif, dimana p value 0,054.

Abstract

According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2022, there are approximately 400,000 new cases of cervical cancer each year worldwide, with 80% occurring in women living in developing countries. This study aims to describe mothers’ knowledge regarding Pap smear examinations at Kertapati Public Health Center, Palembang, in 2024. This research used a descriptive survey method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample was selected using accidental sampling, involving 35 married women aged 21–69 years within the working area of the Kertapati Public Health Center. Data were collected using a questionnaire as an interview guide. The knowledge aspects assessed included the definition, purpose, timing, and procedure of Pap smear examinations. The results showed that 22 respondents (62.8%) knew the definition of a Pap smear, 25 respondents (71.4%) understood its purpose, and 22 respondents (62.8%) were aware of its benefits. Fourteen respondents (40%) knew who should undergo the examination, while only 9 respondents (25.7%) understood the requirements. A total of 15 respondents (42.9%) knew that the examination should not be done during menstruation. Meanwhile, 34 respondents (97.1%) knew the location for Pap smear examinations, and 30 respondents (85.7%) understood that the procedure involves collecting fluid from the cervix. It is expected that the results of this study can serve as a reference for health workers to better understand the level of maternal knowledge regarding Pap smear examinations.

Abstract

Contraceptive users in the world according to the World Health Organization (WHO) more than 100 million women use contraception which has effectiveness with hormonal contraceptive users more than and 25% using non-hormonal and contraceptive users in the world in 2019 reaching 89%. In 2020 the number of modern family planning users in urban areas will reach 58% while in rural areas reachs 57%. As many as 82% of Africa's population does not use contraception. Southeast Asia, South and West as much as 43% use contraception. MKJP is a contraceptive tool to delay, space out pregnancies and stop fertility that is used in the long term. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between knowledge, education and age with the low interest of mothers in choosing MKJP in Kedaton Village, OKU Regency in 2023. The research method used in this study was quantitative using an analytic survey with a cross sectional approach with the population were 454 mothers who were KB acceptors and the sample were 53 using the Acidental Sampling method. Data analysis used the Chi Square statistical test with a p-value <α = 0.05. The results of this study from 26 respondents with good knowledge 15 (57.7%) chose MKJP p.value = 0.003, from 28 respon Dent of higher education 16 (57.1%) chose MKJP p.value = 0.002, while from 26 respondents who were age of low risk 14 (53.8%) chose MKJP p.value = 0.018. Midwives are expected to educate mothers about the importance of using contraception to space births because it cold be affect the mother'shealth.
