Abstract

Kabupaten Nias Selatan saat ini masih masuk dalam kategori daerah tertinggal berdasarkan Indeks Komposit Ketertinggalan di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Akan tetapi, Kabupaten Nias Selatan memiliki berbagai potensi, terutama potensi wisata bahari, perikanan, dan pertanian. Focus Group Discussion bersama para stakeholder yang ada di Kabupaten Nias Selatan pun dilakukan guna merumuskan model bisnis yang tepat di Kabupaten Nias Selatan. Berdasarkan hasil FGD dan analisis model bisnis yang dilakukan, kegiatan bisnis yang dapat dilakukan oleh Kabupaten Nias Selatan adalah dengan memfokuskan pengembangan aktivitas pariwisata bahari melalui kegiatan berselancar dan agroindustry. Model bisnis tersebut akan dapat berhasil jika adanya kerjasama antar stakeholder, seperti Pemerintah Pusat, Pemerintah Daerah, Pelaku Usaha Wisata, dan Masyarakat Lokal dengan berbagai model kerjasama operasionalKata kunci: model bisnis, kawasan tertinggal, Nias Selatan, pariwisata bahari.

Abstract

Increasing the ability of human resources needs to be implemented so that the work productivity of employees can always develop. Efforts to improve human resource capabilities carried out by Dit Poludara Korpolairud on Polri Members in the Fasharkan Sub-Directorate of Poludara Sub-Directorate Korpolairud Baharkam Polri, among others, were carried out through competency and interpersonal communication. Both of these efforts have been carried out, but still the employee’s work productivity still fluctuates.The aim to be achieved in this study was to determine the effect of the level of competency and interpersonal communication on the work productivity of the National Police Members in the Fasharkan Sub-Directorate of the Poludara Sub-directorate of Korpolairud Baharkam Polri.The study was conducted by taking the research population of the National Police Members in Fasharkan Dit Poludara Subdit Korpolairud Baharkam Polri, which amounted to 72 employees. The research data was obtained from a questionnaire given to 44 respondents who were taken by simple random sampling method.The results of the analysis obtained the conclusion that the level of competence and interpersonal communication has a positive influence on employee work productivity both partially and jointly.On the conclusions obtained, the efforts to increase work productivity should be done by improving the level of competence and interpersonal communication because the better the level of competence, the better the work productivity of employees, as well as the better the interpersonal communication, the better work productivity of employees.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style implementation on work discipline as a moderating variable, to examine the effect of work motivation on work discipline as a moderating variable, to analyze the influence of leadership style and work motivation on personnel performance, and to assess work discipline as a moderating variable affecting personnel performance in the Mobile Brigade Corps Unit of the Indonesian National Police. This research uses a quantitative approach. The population studied consists of 1,327 Mobile Brigade personnel in the Mobile Brigade Corps Unit, Kelapa Dua, Depok, West Java. The sampling technique used is Probability Sampling with the Simple Random Sampling method. The sample size was calculated using the Slovin formula, resulting in 95 respondents. Data collection techniques employed in this study include questionnaire distribution and observation. The data analysis technique used is the SPSS version 20 program.The results of the study show that: (1) There is no significant influence of the Leadership Style variable (X1) on Work Discipline (M) in the Mobile Brigade Corps Unit of the Indonesian National Police. This is evidenced by a path coefficient of 0.076 with a t-count value of 1.982 and a t-table value of 1.985, where 1.982 < 1.985 with a probability of 0.050. (2) There is a significant influence of the Work Motivation variable (X2) on Work Discipline (M) in the Mobile Brigade Corps Unit of the Indonesian National Police. This is proven by a path coefficient of 0.908 with a t-count value of 23.736 and a t-table value of 1.985, where 23.736 > 1.985 with a probability of 0.000 (0.000 < 0.05). (3) There is a significant influence of the Leadership Style (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) variables on Personnel Performance (Y) in the Mobile Brigade Corps Unit of the Indonesian National Police. This is demonstrated by an F-count value of 48.095 and an F-table value of 2.70, where 48.095 > 2.70 with a probability of 0.000 (0.000 < 0.05). (4) There is a significant influence of the Work Discipline variable (M) on Personnel Performance (Y) in the Mobile Brigade Corps Unit of the Indonesian National Police. This is indicated by a path coefficient of 0.982 with a t-count value of 4.779 and a t-table value of 1.985, where 4.779 > 1.985 with a probability of 0.000 (0.000 < 0.05).
