Abstract

Paper-based learning media is starting to be replaced by digital-based learning media. This research discusses the metaverse which can be used as a learning medium in the era of society 5.0 in order to improve the quality of Indonesian education in the future. The method used in this research is a literature study, in which researchers collect library data from relevant and up-to-date scientific journal sources. The research results show: 1) the metaverse is developing massively, considering that the metaverse is an interconnected social network. The implementation of metaverse in the world of education has a huge opportunity to support the learning process even better. 2) Metaverse can create a learning experience that is better, more inclusive, up to date, and more relevant to future demands. 3) Metaverse provides many benefits, including more interactive learning, effective training and development, a better learning experience, enabling distance/online learning, enhancing a more enjoyable learning experience, personalizing learning, learning visualization, Game-Based learning, Role Play and Perspective taking. 4) By understanding the advantages and disadvantages of using Metaverse, educators can plan appropriate steps to integrate this technology into modern education, thereby achieving an increase in the quality of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

The end of the industrial revolution era with various changes, society is forced to enter the 5.0 era. Various innovations have emerged and require the ability to adapt. This study aims to reveal the challenges and opportunities of Islamic education in preparing a strong generation in the 5.0 era. This study uses a literature study method often referred to as a Scoping review. The author identifies various literatures that use various methods with themes related to the topic of challenges and opportunities for Islamic education in facing society 5.0. The results of the study show that the problems that emerge as challenges to Islamic education are: moral decadence, the emergence of non-educational media that are easily consumed by children, inappropriate use of social media, situations that demand to compete in various aspects, the necessity of democracy and modern developments, demands to survive the crisis and maintain what has been achieved, demands to compete both on a regional, national and international scale, demands to adapt to rapid changes. To anticipate these challenges, namely by fostering religious understanding to hone spiritual and emotional intelligence, creating as much useful content as possible that is in accordance with Islamic teachings using various media that are easily consumed by all groups, strengthening Islamic education that focuses on character development in children, providing 21st century skills to survive the demands of democracy and modernization, preparing reliable educators who are able to carry out renewal and have a forward-looking orientation.

Abstract

Curriculum development cannot be separated from various aspects that influence it. Various curriculum models have been developed by curriculum, education and psychology experts. This research aims to find a model for curriculum development in schools and its implementation. In this article, the author uses library research or what could be called qualitative research which obtains data from appropriate journals, articles and books. The research results found that in developing the curriculum, teachers can choose several models including the Tyler Model, Administrative Model, Grass Roots Approach Model, Demonstration Model, Beauchamp's System Model or Beauchamp Model, Roger's Model, Problem Solving Model and Taba's Inverted Model. The procedures for curriculum development include curriculum planning, curriculum organization, staffing and curriculum control. Meanwhile, curriculum implementation is the process of applying ideas, concepts, policies, in the form of practical actions, so that it has an impact, both in the form of changes in knowledge, skills, as well as students' values and attitudes. The success of curriculum implementation is also determined by communication about the implementation plan and the support of all resources in the implementation.

Abstract

School administration plays a vital role in carrying out the core functions of educational institutions. This study aims to explore the impact of school administration on improving operational efficiency and quality of education. Using a library research approach, this study collects, analyzes, and synthesizes information from various sources to gain a comprehensive understanding of the topic. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive-qualitative methods. The findings of the study revealed that school administration plays a vital role in improving operational effectiveness and quality of education. Good management allows for efficient management of human resources, finances, and educational facilities. Schools with an organized administration system are able to create a more conducive learning environment, thus positively influencing student learning outcomes. However, challenges remain in running an effective administration. Some schools face constraints such as lack of resources, both financial and human. Therefore, it is important for related parties to collaborate and create innovative solutions to overcome these challenges.

Abstract

Education management in the modern era is increasingly complex and dynamic, along with technological developments, social change, and the demands of globalization. The purpose of this study is to explore and analyze various approaches to effective school management in modern education management, as well as to recommend models that can be implemented in various types of schools. This study uses a library study method, which is a systematic approach to collecting, analyzing, and analyzing relevant information from various available literature sources. The results of the study concluded that the recommended school management model is a combination of transformational leadership, school-based management, technology utilization, and data-based management. This model allows for flexibility, community participation, and optimal use of resources. In addition, schools must also develop a dynamic and future-oriented curriculum and apply the principle of sustainability in their operations. With this research, it is hoped that it can provide insight for educational leaders, educators, and policy makers in formulating better education management strategies that are relevant to the needs of the times.

Abstract

Background. Measuring religious attitudes in Islamic Religious Education has its own challenges. To understand the level of students' attitudes towards religious material, appropriate and relevant instruments are needed. Purpose. This study aims to identify and evaluate the types of attitude scales used in Islamic religious education and to provide recommendations for their use in Islamic religious education. Method. This article was compiled using a library research method. In data collection, sorting and selection were carried out on the concepts and definitions found. The analysis method used involves two main approaches, namely deductive and inductive. The deductive approach is used by drawing conclusions from general facts that have been known to produce more specific conclusions. The inductive approach is applied to draw conclusions from concrete phenomena or situations towards a more abstract understanding. Results. The results of the study of the types of attitude scales are the Likert scale, Guttman scale, semantic differential, and rating scale. Conclusion. The use of various types of measurement scales provides an effective tool for measuring students' attitudes, perceptions, and understanding of religious teachings. This study provides a basis for developing more effective and accurate instruments to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning at various levels of education.
