Abstract

This study aims to find out how the tolerance education system has been implemented in the Tahfidzul Qur'an Al Kahfi Hidayatullah Islamic boarding school in Surakarta Indonesia and how the tolerance education method has been applied. The research method used is qualitative. This type of research is a case study in which the research focuses on a particular case to be observed and analyzed thoroughly and thoroughly and the focus of the study is students or students of the Tahfidzul Qur'an Al Kahfi Hidayatullah Islamic boarding school, Surakarta.The data that has been collected and obtained is then analyzed using a structured method. Data collection was carried out by using interview, observation and documentation techniques.We strive to sort, classify and categorize all data that has been collected using guided techniques so that the themes can be identified according to the tolerance education process of the Tahfidzul Qur'an Al Kahfi Hidayatullah Islamic boarding school.The results of this study indicate the tolerance education system in the Tahfidzul Qur'an Al Kahfi Hidayatullah Islamic boarding school that tolerance education is integrated with all subjects, which the curriculum in the cottage is divided into three, namely superior subjects, special subjects and general subjects.Meanwhile, the model for implementing tolerance education includes the placement of boarding schools for students, no permanent placement of students in a hostel, stipulating regulations on the transfer of students every year and through discussion forums and halaqoh.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the importance of the role of the principal in developing a religious culture in schools. This study uses a qualitative approach aimed at describing and analyzing natural phenomena, events, social activities regarding the development of religious culture through the internalization of moral and religious values at SMPN 4 Boyolali. Documentation, observation and interviews are the methods used to collect data.  Meanwhile, the technique of analyzing and analyzing the data is using data reduction, categorizing the checking of the validity of the data and interpreting the data. The results of this study indicate that developing a religious culture in schools requires systematic policies and concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to find out why the elderly are interested in memorizing the Al-Qur'an. This research uses a qualitative approach. The form of this research is a case study, a case study is a form of study that is very suitable for studying an event or situation in more depth, And to get a more comprehensive understanding of individual aspects, events, or situations and the focus of the study is the elderly who memorize Al-Qur'an in the Istiqomah Giwangan Umbulharjo Taklim Council, Yogyakarta City. The data were collected using the methods of documentation, observation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that the elderly are interested in memorizing the Al-Qur'an because they want to learn more about the Qur'an by memorizing. In this study, it was also found that age did not prevent them from memorizing the Qur'an. A strong desire for the elderly to memorize the Al-Qur'an is that they want to gain many benefits because as a basis for religion, reach for glory, And carry out obligations, all based on motivation to worship God. Meanwhile, the method used by the elderly in memorizing Al-Qur'an uses the Wahdah method

Abstract

An educational institution will be able to actualize democratic education in its school environment holistically as described by Zamroni (2011)  must at least integrate three important elements in a school. The three elements are the structure, the culture of the school, and the educational process carried out by teachers. Previous literature studies show that the integration of the three elements has not been maximally actualized in educational institutions. This research will explain the actualization of democratic education through the reorientation of the democratic education process through the development of extracurricular activities of modern Islamic boarding school Assalaam Surakarta Indonesia. To achieve the research objectives, this study uses a qualitative approach with three data collection techniques: interviews, documentation, observations. The results of this study show that the actualization of democratic education in the boarding school environment through the development of extracurricular activities can be done by reorienting extracurricular activities. At least the reorientation process can be carried out in the early stages, namely, the use of extracurricular activities proportionately and professionally, to carry out the management of the extracurricular based on democratic values and develop extracurricular activities in a structured and planned manner to develop democratic values gradually and continuously.

Abstract

Islamic Boarding School has the main task to develop religious values in students. But on the other hand, boarding schools must develop social intelligence by actualizing multicultural education. This research aims to find out the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning that contains multicultural values in Islamic boarding school Darusy Syahadah Simo Boyolali. This type of research is field research, with qualitative descriptive methods and using a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques use interview, observation, and documentation methods. While the data analysis technique used is interpretive descriptive analysis. There are three results from this study. First, learning planning seen from the perspective of multicultural education has contained multicultural values such as the value of togetherness, and the value of democracy is seen in the learning planning process which involves many parties to conduct group discussions (musyawarah). While the value that contradicts multicultural values is born from the non-creation of products from the planning process in the form of learning tools such as syllabuses and documented learning implementation plans. Second, the implementation of his learning is seen from the strategies used that have contained multicultural values such as the values of democracy, tolerance, justice, togetherness, peace, solidarity. While the contradictory value of multicultural values there are values of injustice and the value of discrimination in interacting between students and teachers in the process of learning activities. Third, the evaluation of learning contains multicultural values in terms of processes and products such as democratic values, values of justice, diversity, tolerance, peace. At the same time, there is also a contradictory value characterized by the value of a conflict, hegemony, and dominance among the students in interacting daily in the environment of Islamic boarding school Darusy Syahadah.

Abstract

Until now, memorization is still one of the methods used in the process of maintaining the Koran. This research is related to the tahfizh al-Qur'an method which is more directed at the learning process at the Muhammadiyah Boarding School Klaten Islamic boarding school. The research aims to reveal descriptively the methods of learning khifdhul jaded and khifdhul coding in improving the quality and quantity of memorizing al-Qur'an of the students of the boarding school Muhammadiyah boarding school Klaten. This qualitative research is a research approach that produces descriptive data, which is written or oral data and observe people's behavior. The research data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is a process of organizing data into patterns, categories and a basic description, so that a working hypothesis can be found and formulated. The first stage is data reduction, the second stage is a data exploration and the third stage is data verification. The results showed that tahfizh al-Qur'an at the Muhammadiyah Boarding School Klaten Islamic boarding school used the khifdhul jaded and khifdhul coding methods to memorize al- Qur'an. The khifdhul jaded method and the khfidhul coding method applied at the boarding school Muhammadiyah boarding school Klaten should be more focused so that it is more effective so that every year not only ten students who memorize the Koran will pass but more and more will pass the al-Qur'an memorizer. Both in terms of the letter makharijul, recitation and from the way of reading it in a beautiful voice.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the importance of supervision of staff development at Madrasyah Ibtidayyah Muhammadiyah Juwiran Klaten. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. With the method of collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis activities are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that one way to develop human resources at Madrasyah Ibtidaiyyah Muhammadiyah Juwiran Klaten is by supervision, By improving the quality of education which must start from the aspect of teachers and other education personnel concerning the quality of their professionalism and welfare in a professional education management.

Abstract

Di era teknologi, pemanfaatan media pembelajaran telah banyak inovasi yang dilakukan. Salah satu inovasi media yang dapat mambantu pendidik dalam mengajar yaitu media pembelajaran berbasis games dengan bantuan aplikasi Kahoot. Namun, masih terdapat pendidik di sekolah mitr belum memanfaatkan teknologidalam media pebelajaran yang digunakannya. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini yaitu metode ceramah, demonstrasi dan penugasan. Data diperoleh dari angket kepuasan kegiatan pelatihan. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa 92,30% kegiatan ini menambah wawasan pendidik mengenai pembuatan media berbasis games, 92,00% materi yang disampaikan sesuai dengan kebutuhan, 85,50% kegiatan menambah keterampilan pendidik dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran. Ada dua simpulan pada kegiatan ini, yaitu: (1) kegiatan PkM ini menjadikan pengajar atau pendidikan lebih mengenal aplikasi Kahoot sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis games dan memberikan manfaat untuk pendidik untuk melakukan inovasi dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran, (2) kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini meningkatkan keterampilan pendidik dalam menggunakan media games seperti aplikasi Kahoot!

Abstract
