Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan diksi dalam cerpen berbahasa Balisiswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Denpasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskripsikualitatif. Data penelitian ini adalah kalimat yang mengandung diksi. Sumber data dalampenelitian ini adalah 28 cerpen karya siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Denpasar pada tahun 2019.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini, yaitu:(1) jenis diksi yang digunakan pada cerpen berbahasa Bali siswa, meliputi alus singgih, alussor, alus madya, alus mider, basa andap dan (2) penggunaan diksi yang kurang tepat, meliputipemakaian kata tidak tepat dan mubazir.Kata kunci: Penggunaan diksi, cerpen.ABSTRACTThis research aimed at reviewing the use of diction in Balinese Language short storiesof the 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Denpasar. The type of this research was descriptivequalitativeresearch. The research data included the sentences that contained dictions. Thesources of data in this research were 28 short stories written by 7th grade students of SMPNegeri 5 Denpasar in 2019. The data collection technique was conducted throughdocumentation study. The results of this research were: (1) the type of consisted of alus singgih,alus sor, alus madya, alus mider, basa andap and (2) the improper uses of dictions includedthe use of improper and redundant words.Key words: Use diction, short stories.

Abstract

Marriage system in the indigenous trust describes the relationship of supernaturaleffect on family kinship in the community. Such the relevance is the primary identifier and theidentity of the diversity of the Indonesian nation. It is inevitable that a cultureas a pillar ofdiversity is a buffer for entering the era of multicultural and globalization. Values of Humanist isthe power of social relation among individuals in the community groups. This paper describesthe characteristic of marriage in society of Boti in East Nusa Tenggara who hold the originaltrust Halaika.The results shows behaviors that indicate homage to supernatural of Uis Pah (Rulerof the Earth), Uis Oe (Ruler of Water) and Uis Neno (Ruler of Heaven) in a series of marriagesthat is rich of value and meaning.
