Abstract

Purchasing decisions are the result of various factors, including promotion and customer satisfaction, which are important for the success of companies in the competitive automotive industry. This study aims to analyze the effect of promotion and customer satisfaction on purchasing decisions on motorcycle products at CV Kompo Motor Purbalingga. The research uses quantitative methods with data collection through questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the analysis show that promotion and customer satisfaction have a significant and positive relationship to purchasing decisions, with customer satisfaction having a more dominant influence. The linear regression test shows a coefficient of determination of 65%, which indicates that the variability of purchasing decisions can be largely explained by the promotion and customer satisfaction variables. The implication of these findings is the importance of companies to develop promotional strategies that are aligned with improving service quality in order to increase customer satisfaction. However, this study has limitations on the scope of the research location, so further research is recommended to expand the scope of the study to other regions or industrial sectors to strengthen the generalization of the results.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of key macroeconomic variables: interest rates, inflation, and gross domestic product (GDP), on the performance of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in Indonesia from 2019 to 2022, spanning pre- and post-COVID-19 periods. Employing a quantitative econometric approach with time-series data and multiple linear regression analysis in Stata 17, the research tests hypotheses regarding these relationships using the Sharpe ratio as a risk-adjusted performance metric. Descriptive statistics reveal stable interest rates (average 4.35%) and inflation (2.68%), contrasted by high GDP volatility (standard deviation 3.003). Regression results indicate a positive but insignificant effect of interest rates (β = 0.101, p = 0.234), a significant positive impact of inflation (β = 0.170, p = 0.029), and an insignificant negative effect of GDP (β = -0.023, p = 0.377). These findings challenge conventional expectations, highlighting inflation's role in signaling moderate economic expansion that bolsters ETF returns in emerging markets during recovery phases. Notably, this positive inflation effect persists in broader contexts, as seen in Indonesia's sustained growth trajectory post-2022, where controlled inflation around 2.3% in 2025 complemented stable BI rates at 4.75% to support ETF resilience amid ongoing global pressures. The study addresses literature gaps by providing empirical evidence from Indonesia's transitional context, offering implications for policy and investment strategies amid global uncertainties, including recommendations for regulators to leverage moderate inflation for market stabilization.

Abstract

Digital transformation requires local governments to deliver public information effectively, precisely, and with a strong identity. The Purbalingga Regency Communications and Informatics Office (Dinkominfo) plays a strategic role in managing public communications through various digital products. However, the challenges faced include suboptimal target market (audience) determination and branding strategies for government digital products, resulting in low information delivery effectiveness and public engagement. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to improve the understanding and capabilities of Dinkominfo officials in determining target audiences and building branding for local government digital products. The method used was community education with a participatory approach, implemented through interactive lectures, discussions, and simple simulations based on real-world problems. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the concept of audience segmentation and the basic principles of digital product branding, both quantitatively and qualitatively. Participants also demonstrated active participation and were able to formulate initial strategies contextualized to their work conditions. This activity demonstrates the effectiveness of community education with a participatory approach in increasing the capacity of local government officials. This PKM activity is expected to support more strategic public communications management and strengthen the image of local government in the digital era.

Abstract

This study offers a comprehensive examination of the macroeconomic factors influencing domestic gold prices in Indonesia, emphasizing the mediating role of Rupiah exchange rate depreciation. Utilizing 70 monthly observations from January 2020 to October 2025, a timeframe marked by the COVID-19 pandemic's disruptions, supply chain challenges, and global monetary shifts, the research draws on economic principles such as the quantity theory of money and the monetary trilemma to test seven hypotheses on direct and indirect effects. Empirical results confirm strong long-run cointegration among the variables, but reveal weak short-run transmission from inflation and the BI Rate to exchange rate movements. Exchange rate depreciation emerges as a borderline statistically significant driver of gold prices, while inflation and the BI Rate are not statistically significant predictors. This pattern indicates that the limited explanatory power of inflation and the BI Rate reflects the dominance of external shocks, such as global capital flows and international monetary tightening, rather than a weakness of the empirical model itself. These findings indicate that currency dynamics, rather than domestic macroeconomic fundamentals alone, constitute the dominant transmission channel for gold price movements in Indonesia, highlighting the fragility of standard macro-financial relationships in an emerging-market context
