Abstract

Tantangan terbesar yang dialami oleh siswa dalam perkembangan revolusi industri 4.0 di Indonesia saat ini adalah kemampuan siswa untuk menghadapi tuntutan akademik. Perubahan budaya akademik, pembaruan sistem kurikulum yang relatif cepat, kegelisahan dan kebingungan dalam menentukan karir adalah serangkaian tuntutan akademik di era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Berbagai tuntutan dan tantangan akademis berpotensi menyebabkan tekanan akademik di kalangan siswa yang cenderung berdampak negatif pada pola belajar siswa dan perkembangan psikologis siswa di sekolah. Adapun artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan profil ketahanan akademik siswa di unit pendidikan formal, yang berfokus pada ruang lingkup dan batas-batasannya. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi secara  praktis dan teoritis di dunia pendidikan, terutama studi yang terlibat dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah.

Abstract

Abstrak: Manusia merupakan makhluk sosial yang seluruh aktivitasnya bertemu dengan manusia lain, perbedaan budaya, ras, etnik dan agama dalam masyarakat menjadi sebuah keberagaman dalam kehidupan barbangsa dan bernegara, namun untuk mencapai kerukunan tersebut perlu adanya pemahaman tentang toleransi pada setiap diri individu untuk dapat menghargai perbedaan. Konseling berbasis wawasan lintas budaya dianggap mampu menjawab persoalan toleransi dalam kehidupan sosial,Kata Kunci: Konseling Berbasis Wawasan Lintas Budaya, Sikap Toleransi.  Abstract: Humans are social creatures whose activities are related to other humans. Cultural, racial, ethnic and religious differences in society become diversity in the life of the nation and state. To achieve harmony there needs to be an understanding of tolerance in each individual to be able to appreciate differences. Cross-cultural insight-based counseling is considered capable of answering the problem of tolerance in social life.Keywords: Multi Cultural Counseling, Tolerance Attitudes.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze factors that contribute to academic hardiness in students with the 3C of Hardiness concept which includes aspects of commitment, control and challenge. The method used in this research is a cross-sectional survey with a quantitative approach, where data is collected using a standardized academic hardiness scale. The research sample consisted of 500 students spread across three state universities in West Sulawesi province. Data analysis was carried out using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) to test the validity and contribution of each factor. The research results show that the control aspect is the factor that makes the biggest contribution to academic hardiness, with a standardized variance coefficient value of 0.605. Meanwhile, the social support indicator has the greatest influence, with a value of 0.854. These findings provide a basis for further research in designing guidance and counseling service models based on empirical evidence, by considering the main factors that contribute significantly to student academic hardiness. Apart from that, the results of this research can be a guide for guidance and counseling staff in designing more adaptive services, according to student needs.
