Abstract

Technology has a big positive impact on integration in the world of education. The aim of this research is to produce an e-comic about my environment to increase the spirit of mutual cooperation and appropriate, practical and effective learning achievements. This development research uses the ADDIE research model. The research subjects were 102 students and 4 teachers at elementary school cluster II, Kasihan subdistrict, Bantul district, Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques used interviews, needs analysis questionnaires, validation questionnaires, response questionnaires, self-assessment questionnaires, and pretest posttest. Data analysis used the independent sample t-test, paired sample t-test, and MANOVA test. The results of the independent sample t-test show a significant value of 0.019<0.05. The results of the paired sample t-test show a significant value of 0.002 <0.05. The MANOVA test results show a significant value of 0.006<0.05. Overall, there is a significant difference in the spirit of mutual cooperation and learning achievement between students who use e-comics and those who do not use the results of research on the development of e-comic material my environment. The spirit of mutual cooperation and learning achievement of students who use e-comics increases compared to those who do not use e-comics. It was concluded that e-comics were declared feasible, practical and effective for use as learning media.

Abstract

Technological developments are spreading to all sectors, including education. As educators, we are required to utilize technology in learning, Many students have difficulty understanding geometric material, which is often presented in a conventional and less interesting way. On the other hand, education in Indonesia also aims to shape students' character in accordance with Pancasila values, such as mutual cooperation, integrity and independence. However, approaches that integrate character education with subject teaching are still limited. This research aims to analyze a mathematics audible book based on Pancasila student profiles that is feasible and practical as a medium for introducing rectangular flat shapes for fourth grade elementary school students by utilizing technological developments. The research uses the ADDIE model. The test subjects were fourth grade elementary school students, involving 94 students and 3 teachers. Data collection techniques through interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis uses the Aiken'v index. The results of the research show that overall the use of a mathematics audible book is feasible and practical as a medium for introducing rectangular shapes for class IV elementary school. The implications of this research are This book is designed to introduce the quadrilateral concept in an interesting way and in line with the Pancasila student profile, which emphasizes values ​​such as mutual cooperation, integrity and independence.

Abstract

The high incidence of antisocial behavior such as bullying and early exposure to social media that affects students' character highlights the urgency of strengthening character education in schools. The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) is one of the strategic steps that has begun to be implemented. This study aims to analyze prospective elementary school teachers' perceptions of the implementation of P5. This is a descriptive quantitative research using a survey method. The research subjects in this study were 53 elementary school teacher education students. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to students using Google Forms. The data obtained were in the form of scales, as the questionnaires were distributed using a 1-5 Likert scale. Data analysis was carried out by converting quantitative data into qualitative data based on a table of prospective elementary school teachers' perceptions. The analysis results indicate that prospective elementary school teachers have a positive perception of the implementation of P5, categorized as “agree.” They assess P5 as beneficial in enhancing social awareness, cooperation, creativity, and respect for diversity. With this positive response, it is hoped that schools will continue to implement P5, as it has proven effective in shaping students' character in accordance with the Pancasila Student Profile.
