Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of leadership and organizational commitment on performance through motivation. The population of this research are employees of PT. Binavalasindo Dolarasia Sejahtera Utama Jakarta. The sampling technique by saturation with 158 respondents. Method of collecting data by census technique using questionnaire that has been tested its validity and reliability. Data analysis by descriptive and quantitative. The quantitate analysis use Path Analysis with SPSS 20. The result of the research shows that Leadership has a significant effect towards Motivation by the value of 4.62, while Organizational Commitment has a significant effect towards Motivation by the value of 5.76, Leadership has a significant effect towards Performance by the value of 3.01, while Organizational Commitment has a significant effect towards Performance by the value of 2.93, Motivation has a significant effect towards Performance by the value of 8.57, Leadership has a significant indirect effect on Performance through Motivation by the value of 2.74, while Organizational Commitment has a significant indirect effect on Performance through Motivation by the value 4.43.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of Competency, organizational commitment and career development on performance through variable work productivity. The sample involved was 200 respondent of employees Manhattan Hotel with a nonprobability sampling method. The data of this study were obtained from distributing questionnaire. Method of analysis is Path analysis, follow by transforming data using Method of Successive Interval(MSI), Malahanobis distance test, normality test, multicollinearity test, linearity test, heteroscedasticity test, correlation analysis, and mediation testing with sobel test. The results of this study are competency, organizational commitment, career development, work productivity and performance employee have a positive directly effect. Then organizational commitment and career development have an indirect positive impact to the performance through work productivity. Beside that, competency no indirectly effect on employee performance through work productivity as a mediating variable.

Abstract

Purpose- In any organization, both for profit and non-profit entities, Human Resources is very important. This study aims to examine the effect of work discipline, motivation and compensation on employee performance through work productivity at the Sari Pacific Hotel Jakarta. Design/methodology/approach- The sample involved was 250 people with a nonprobability sampling method from Sari Pacific Hotel Jakarta. The data of this study were obtained from distributing questionnaires. This research uses data validity test, reliability test with Alpha Cornbach coefficient, transforming data using MSI (Method of Successive Interval) technique, Malahanobies Distance Test. Classic assumption test, path analysis, normality test, multicollinearity test, linearity test, heterokedasticity test, path coefficient test, correlation analysist, mediation testing with sobel test and determination coefficient test to determine the effect either direct or indirrect between work discipline, motivation and compensation for employee performance through productivity as variables mediation. Based on testing the validity and reliability with Alpha Cronbach, the data is valid and reliabel. Findings- The results of this study are work discipline, motivation and compensation partially have a positive affect on work productivity, directly. Work productivity directly affects employee performance. Work discipline, motivation and compensation partially affect indirectly on employee performance through work productivity as a mediating variable.

Abstract

Purpose- This study aimed to analyze the effect of motivation, work satisfaction, and leadership on employee performance at The Park Lane Hotel Jakarta in 2018. Design/methology/approach- The data were obtained from the presentation of data from the respondents (questionniare), and the result of other studies that relevan with the object studies, in this case the primary data from The Park Lane Hotel Jakarta. The method used is descriptive quantitative analyze, sample in this studies amounted 120 employee with a sampling technique that by using accidental sampling. The statistical used in this study is multiple regression analyze using SPSS 20. Findings- The finding of this study suggest that the motivation variable, work satisfaction and leadership simultaneously (together) and significally effect on employee performance in The Park Lane Hotel Jakarta in 2018. This is evidence by the result of the F test with a significance level below 0,05 and the result is 0 the meaning is the motivation, work satisfaction, and leadership variable are partially and significantly effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the result of t test, independent variable are affect each dependent variable if the significance level below 0.05. motivation with significance level of 0,031 and work satisfaction with significance level of 0,016 and leadership with significance level of 0,019. The most variable affecting employee performance is motivation.

This study aims to determine the quality of products and prices affecting partially on customer satisfaction and to know the two variables that affect customer satisfaction. The data used in this study is the primary data obtained from the questionnaire. Data analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression. Population in this research is customer of small restaurant Cita Rasa Cak Wanto. The technique used is accidental sampling, with samples used 100 people. Then the validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test which includes normality test, multicolinearity, heteroscedasticity test, and linearity test. Whereas hypothesis testing includes F test, t test and determination coefficient analysis (R2) from the analysis can be known product quality and price partially and simultaneously have an effect on to customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The frequent phenomenoms that occur in various countries, including the current situation in Indonesia are underpricing and overpricing, at the Initial Public Offering (IPO). Between the insider and the outsider, in which information gap the writer got interested to conduct this research. The approach being used is quantitative approach by testing the hypothesis through regression analysis. The data used are initial return, update price, company size and age, kind of industry and the reputation of the company IPO underwriter of the period of June 2005 up to may 2014. The result of the research shows the TARCH model with the threshold that shows that this is a good model of initial return, whereas the regression test result indicates that the variables of updated price, company size, company age, and kind of industry give positive and significant influence towards initial return, and the reputation of the underwriter gives negative influence towards initial return.
