Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) among pregnant women is a nutritional problem that may affect maternal health and fetal growth. Nutrition education and supplementary feeding are interventions that can support the improvement of nutritional status among pregnant women with CED. This study aimed to analyze the effect of nutrition education and supplementary feeding on the nutritional status of pregnant women with CED through a literature review. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted based on PRISMA 2020 using Google Scholar and Scopus databases for articles published from 2021 to 2026. Of 4,393 identified articles, 10 met the inclusion criteria. The results showed that nutrition education or nutritional assistance improved knowledge and nutrient intake and, in some studies, increased MUAC. Supplementary feeding, either in the form of biscuits or local food-based products, showed changes in body weight, MUAC, BMI, and hemoglobin levels. The combination of nutrition education and supplementary feeding also showed improvements in body weight, MUAC, knowledge, and awareness of nutritious food consumption. In conclusion, nutrition education, supplementary feeding, and their combination showed changes in various nutritional status indicators among pregnant women with CED, although the findings varied according to the type of intervention and indicators used.
