Abstract

Abstract

The enhancement of entrepreneurial capacity in Indonesia, particularly for business owners seeking to enter the export market, requires the development of soft skills integrated with technical knowledge and export regulations. Soft skills, such as cross-cultural communication, negotiation skills, risk management, and adaptability, play a crucial role in supporting the success of entrepreneurs in international markets. This study aims to develop and implement a soft skill training program integrated with entrepreneurship, to prepare business owners, particularly SMEs, to become competent exporters ready to compete in the global market. The methods used in this training include project-based learning, case simulations, and role-playing, which aim to provide practical experience in facing the challenges of international business. The target participants of this program are SME entrepreneurs or start-up business owners with potential to become exporters. The program involves instructors with backgrounds in entrepreneurship and export, as well as facilitators skilled in international communication. The expected outcomes of this training are to enhance participants' soft skills, strengthen their understanding of export-related technical aspects, and increase their chances of success in entering the export market. Thus, this training makes a significant contribution to the development of soft skill-based entrepreneurship that can support the success of Indonesian entrepreneurs in the global market.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the best truck vendor for PT Iron Bird Logistics by applying the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The research focuses on developing a strategic framework that integrates various qualitative and quantitative criteria into the vendor selection process. The methodology employs a case study approach, collecting primary data through questionnaires and in-depth interviews with relevant experts and managers within the company. The AHP method was applied by constructing a criteria hierarchy consisting of Quality, Cost, After-Sales Service, and Technology. The data were analyzed using Expert Choice software to calculate criteria weights and evaluate the seven pre-selected vendors. The analysis results show that the Quality criterion has the highest weight (0.425), followed by Cost (0.285), After-Sales Service (0.185), and Technology (0.105). Of the seven vendors evaluated, Vendor D achieved the highest score (0.218) and was determined to be the best vendor. The consistency ratio (CR) test yielded a value of 0.03 (< 0.1), indicating a consistent assessment. The value of this research lies in its practical contribution to the application of the AHP method for truck vendor selection, particularly in Indonesian logistics companies. The resulting framework offers a systematic and comprehensive approach that can be adopted by similar companies for strategic decision-making in fleet procurement.

Abstract

The Jakarta Entrepreneur Program (Jakpreneur) was designed as an integrated entrepreneurial ecosystem through Gubernatorial Regulation No. 2 of 2020. The program's primary focus is to transform Jakarta's MSMEs into innovative and independent business units. However, post-mentoring sustainability is crucial. This study evaluates the level of financial independence of MSMEs assisted by Jakpreneur by analyzing the implementation of the 7P framework in various regions. Through a qualitative literature review, it was found that the program's effectiveness is often hampered by "equal distribution of facilities" at the expense of "depth of intervention." The results indicate a decline in tiered participation (from registration to capital) and low levels of independent digital literacy (only 8.40% in the marketplace). Key recommendations include redesigning exit strategies based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to ensure alumni remain competitive without relying entirely on government subsidies.
