Abstract

Bug-Bug Village, which is located in Lingsar District, West Lombok Regency, has the potential for regional development as an agricultural area, because apart from the agricultural area being 42% of the total village area, it is also recorded that 27.45% of the population works as farmers. As a farmer, the need for subsidized fertilizer is certainly very large. Unfortunately, the government's ability to provide subsidized fertilizer is only 37-42%. By studying these conditions, the ability of farmers to make their own organic fertilizer is really needed. The benefits of organic fertilizer on the health of production results, the health of the surrounding environment and also the health and welfare of farmers, is also the reason that supports the "socialization and practice of making organic fertilizer" program by participants of the Mataram University Real Work Lecture (KKN) in Bug-Bug Village. The result of this activity is that farmers have high enthusiasm for the work program, local Agricultural Field Extension Officers (PPL) give high appreciation for the program and hope for support in the coming period. The Head of Bug-Bug Village also expressed high appreciation and hoped that in the next period of KKN, they would prepare a packaging and marketing program for fertilizer products

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of hybrid learning through the SPADA platform in developing Higher Order Thinking Skills among pre-service teachers in the Physics Curriculum Analysis course. The study employed a quantitative approach using a descriptive research method. The participants consisted of 53 third-semester students of the undergraduate Physics Education Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram, during the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. The learning process was conducted over three months through the integration of face-to-face classroom learning and online learning using SPADA. Data were collected through a six-item essay test designed to measure higher-order thinking skills at the levels of analyzing (C4), evaluating (C5), and creating (C6). The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean score, minimum score, maximum score, learning mastery percentage, and grade distribution. The results showed that the average student learning outcome reached 87.91, with a minimum score of 83.45 and a maximum score of 88.95. The learning mastery percentage reached 100%, with 98.11% of students achieving grade A and 1.89% achieving grade B+. These findings indicate that hybrid learning is effective in developing students’ HOTS while simultaneously supporting the implementation of SDG 4 in higher education.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore students' competency profiles in the Introduction to Education course through hybrid learning based on the utilization of scientific articles. The study employed a quantitative descriptive approach and was conducted during the odd semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year in the Physics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram. The research subjects consisted of 26 students enrolled in the Introduction to Education course taught by the researcher. The data were collected from the assessment of classroom discussion activities and individual assignments conducted through the SPADA UNRAM learning platform. Competency assessment covered nine indicators, namely content understanding, academic argumentation, utilization of scientific references in discussions, participation in discussions, accuracy of assignment content, depth of analysis, utilization of scientific references in assignments, critical thinking skills, and academic writing organization and language use. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean, median, mode, standard deviation, frequency, and percentage. The results showed that students' competencies were categorized as high, with an average score of 86.73. All competency indicators were also categorized as high, with mean scores ranging from 85.9 to 87.4. A total of 50.00% of students were categorized as having high competency, 46.15% as very high, and 3.85% as moderate. These findings indicate that hybrid learning based on the utilization of scientific articles can effectively support the development of students' academic competencies, particularly in terms of conceptual understanding, academic argumentation, scientific literacy, and critical thinking skills.
