Abstract

The study aims to draw a relationship between User Interface (UI) design and educational app adoption in Indonesia—compared to three of the most popular online learning apps, Ruangguru, Skill Academy, and Belajar dari Rumah (Kemendikbud). Despite increasing access to education through digital transformation, adoption challenges related to UI design are still prevalent. Increasing familiarity with an app prevents user abandonment and improves the overall user experience, leading to continued adoption and usage. Qualitative findings from survey data of 200 respondents isolated ease of navigation, visual aesthetics, and app responsiveness as the three most prominent determinants of anticipated user satisfaction and adoption patterns. Quantitatively, Ruangguru and Skill Academy showed a significant influence of UI size on user satisfaction (R² = 0.620), while Belajar dari Rumah needs to improve its UI, from the results it is recommended for educational app developers to improve UI design, increase adoption rates, and maximize user satisfaction

Abstract

Smart farming has some limitations regarding the management of streaming data from IoT sensors. This is necessary to support real-time decision-making in areas with less infrastructure. This paper discusses the practical use of the N8N platform as a low-code/no-code workflow automation tool for monitoring IoT sensors in smart farming. A mixed-method approach was used, with a prototype design based on Research and Development. The system was built using IoT-A architecture, which includes the perception layer (soil moisture, temperature, humidity, pH, NPK, and ultrasonic sensors on ESP32), network layer (MQTT and HTTP), processing layer (N8N workflow for ingestion, validation, transformation, and decision logic), and application layer (dashboard and alerts). Testing was done in a controlled environment for 72 hours with scenarios such as normal operation, high load, network disruption sensor failure, and scalability up to 20 nodes. Results showed an average response time of 150–300 ms, throughput of up to 500 data points per minute end-to-end latency below 450 ms availability greater than 99% and processing accuracy between 98.7% and 99.2%. The system detected failures accurately and restored operations within an average of 45 seconds. These results proved that N8N can improve the efficiency and reliability of real-time monitoring as an adaptive solution for tropical agriculture in Indonesia. It also suggested long-term field trials together with AI integration for predictive forecasting to enhance scalability and practical adoption.

Abstract

This community service program aims to optimize the self-capacity of the Indonesian diaspora in Tsukuba, Japan, by strengthening digital and financial literacy. The program was conducted through educational sessions, practical workshops, mentoring activities, and evaluation using pre-test and post-test methods involving 15 members of PPI Ibaraki. The digital literacy materials focused on social media utilization, personal branding, and digital content creation, while financial literacy materials emphasized personal financial management, budgeting strategies, and safe digital investment practices. Evaluation results demonstrated a significant increase in participant understanding, with average scores improving from 55% to 90%, indicating a 35% increase in knowledge and practical skills. Participants also showed improved abilities in creating productive digital content and managing personal finances more responsibly while living in Japan. The findings indicate that integrated digital and financial literacy training can effectively strengthen the independence and adaptive capacity of Indonesian diaspora communities abroad.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital literacy and marketing innovation on MSME business performance in Pontianak, with human resource competence as a moderating variable. The study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 200 food and beverage MSMEs in Pontianak selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with SPSS 23. The findings reveal that digital literacy has a positive and significant effect on MSME business performance (B = 0.098; p < 0.05), while marketing innovation demonstrates the strongest influence on business performance (B = 0.421; p < 0.001). Furthermore, human resource competence significantly moderates the relationship between digital literacy, marketing innovation, and MSME business performance. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.611) indicates that 61.1% of MSME business performance can be explained by the variables examined in this study. These findings imply that strengthening digital capability, marketing innovation, and human resource competence is essential for improving MSME competitiveness and sustainability in the digital era.
