Abstract

The objective of this research was to know the influence and the relationship among teachers’ professional competence to students learning activity, the ease of understanding learning material and students learning outcomes on IPA subject at SMP Rayon II Sigi Regency. This research was a formal research which found out the relationship among the influence of students learning activities Y1, the ease of understanding learning materials Y2 and student learning outcomes Y3 in IPA subject. To measure the teachers professional competence (X) is obtained by using the observation sheet that contained the teachers assessment activities, variable Y1 obtained by observations on the implementation process of learning in the classroom, variable Y2 about the ease of understanding the learning materials obtained by questionnaire and variable Y3 on student learning outcomes obtained of the results of tests conducted by each teacher that being a sample in this study. The results indicated that the teachers’ professional competence had very real influence on students' learning activities and ease of understanding learning material but not real on student learning outcomes. In conclusion, teachers’ professional competence is a matter that needs to be developed by teachers with special autonomy so that they had more professional responsibility. Achievement of the average value of the percentage of the activity of 27 teachers with students as much as in 1080 reached 76.85% or in the good criteria according to the size specified by Depdiknas (2004).

Abstract

The research was conducted in the second semester the SDN Negeri.2 Labuan school year 2013/2014. Problems in research is (1) whether there is a revision component in the development of lesson plan, teacher reference books, through 4D models in the discussion of damage to the natural environment learning model jigsaw The Elementary School fifth grade students Labuan?; (2) What factors are revised in the development of lesson plans, teacher reference books, by using 4D procedure in the discussion of damage to the natural environment through the model jigsaw in Elementary School fifth grade students Labuan?: This research purposes determine the components in the learning device gets priority for repair or revised so understanding the concept of matter damage to the natural environment in the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Labuan can be increased. This type of research is the development of research, concluded that the lesson plan well designed and using the right approach will be very effective in improving outcomes and learning activities of students.

Abstract

The research was conducted on a semester at SDN Tompu Biromaru Sigi District of school year 2014-2015. Problems in the study was whether the application of Jigsaw cooperative learning model can improve the activity and results of the sixth grade students learn science SDN Tompu District of Sigi Biromaru. The method used is a cyclic method at class action research with two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings results showed that the application of cooperative learning model Jigsaw shown to enhance the activity and the results of learning science in grade VI SDN Tompu Biromaru Sigi District of criteria that are in the category of fairly to very good. While the magnitude of the increase in student learning outcomes cycle I were in the medium category and second cycle were in the high category. Thus, it was concluded that the application of Jigsaw cooperative learning model can improve the activity and the results of the sixth grade students learn science SDN Tompu District of Sigi Biromaru.
