Abstract

This research is a qualitative research aimed to describe the profile of cognitive regulation of the students of VIII C class of SMP Negeri 2 Palu in solving system of equations in two variables viewed from cognitive style. The research subjects were one student belonged to independent field and another student belonged to dependent field. The grouping for obtaining the desired subjects was done by administering GEFT test. The research results show that: (1) in the planning stage, FI was not easily influenced by his environment so that he could convey the information that he knew and was asked to him and he could also develop the steps for solving problems, (2) in the problem solving stage in order to obtain results, FI executed the solving steps already planned, and checked the correctness of the solving steps by analyzing the conformity to the plan, sometimes the subject asked himself because he felt that probably the problems were not in line with the solving steps to be achieved, (3) in the stage of checking the correctness of the solution, FI firstly asked to himself for he felt that probably there might be something illogical, then he matched them manually in order to confirm the results obtained, and when observing his own ways of work, FI decided that the results he obtained were correct, (4) FD was easily influenced by his environment; thus, in the planning stage, he tried to interact with others first and only then he could convey the information that he knew and was asked to him, and he could develop the problem solving steps, (5) in the problem solving stage, FD executed the solving steps, and checked the correctness of the solving steps by analyzing the conformity to the plan, sometimes the subject asked himself because he felt that probably the solving steps were not in line with the solutions to be achieved, and (6) in the stage of checking the correctness of the solution, FD asked to himself for he felt that the solutions obtained were not in line with the objectives being asked, and when observing his own ways of work, FD remained confident with the results he obtained.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis kesalahan siswa kelas VII dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada materi luas dan keliling bangun datar khususnya bangun datar segiempat dan segitiga. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 3 siswa yang diambil dari 24 siswa kelas VII SMP Al-Azhar Mandiri Palu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kesalahan-kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa yaitu kesalahan konseptual dan kesalahan procedural. kesalahan konseptual yang dilakukan siswa meliputi (1) kesalahan konsep yaitu siswa salah dalam menggunakan rumus luas dan keliling serta salah dalam memahami soal cerita, (2) kesalahan fakta yaitu salah atau tidak menuliskan satuan luas dan keliling dalam penyelesaian, serta, (3) kesalahan prinsip yaitu tidak dapat mengubah soal cerita ke dalam model matematika. Sedangkan kesalahan prosedural yang dilakukan siswa berupa (1) kesalahan dalam menyusun langkah-langkah penyelesaian, (2) prosedur tidak lengkap dan (3) kesalahan strategi. Kata Kunci: Analisis kesalahan, konseptual dan prosedural, luas dan keliling bangun datar. Abstract: This study aimed to describe the types of errors made by class VII students in solving the story question in on area and perimeter of two-dimentional figure material.The type of the research was a qualitative research.The subjects were 3 students drawn from 24 students of class VII SMP Al-Azhar Mandiri Palu.The results indicated that the errors made by students were conceptual errors and procedural errors. Conceptual errors that the students made include (1) a misconception that students were incorrect in using the formula of the area and perimeter as well as incorrect in understanding the story question, (2) errors of fact that incorrect or did not write area and perimeter units in the problem solution, and, (3) error principles that could not change the story question into mathematical models. While the procedural errors committed by the students were (1) an error in strategy that incorrect in manipulating the problem solution steps, (2) the procedure was not complete and (3) error strategy. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh deskripsi tentang penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi luas permukaan dan volume prisma di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Palu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Rancangan penelitian ini mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yaitu 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan tindakan, 3) observasi dan 4) refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Palu yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Data pada penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran koopertif tipe think pair share dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi luas permukaan dan volume prisma, dengan mengikuti fase-fase sebagai berikut: 1) mempersiapkan siswa dan meyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran, 2) think, 3) pair, 4) share, 5) membuat kesimpulan. Kata kunci: think pair share, hasil belajar, luas permukaan prisma, volume prisma. Abstract: The aim of this research was to obtaining description about Application of the Cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share (TPS) can Improve Learning Outcomes Of Student about surface and volume of Prism at grade VIII SMP Negeri 18 Palu. This research is a classroom action research. The design of this research refers to the study design Kemmis and Mc. Taggart: 1) planning, 2) acting, 3) observing and 4) reflecting. The subject were students of grade VIII SMP Negeri 18 Palu totaling 24 students. This research was conducted in two cycles. Data of this research was collected through observation sheet, interview, nod fields and tes. The results showed that the application of Cooperative learning model type think pair share can Improve Learning Outcomes Of Student about surface and volume of Prism through the phases, namely 1) to preparing students and presents the objectives, 2) think, 3) pair, 4) share, 5) making the conclusion. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran perseorangan dan kelompok kecil (PPKK) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada operasi hitung bentuk aljabar kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Labuan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang mengacu pada rancangan penelitian oleh Kemmis dan Mc. Teggart yang terdiri atas: 1) perencanaan tindakan, 2) pelaksanaan tindakan, 3) pengamatan tindakan, dan 4) refleksi tindakan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII sebanyak 17 orang, dan dipilih 3 orang siswa sebagai informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan model PPKK dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi operasi hitung bentuk aljabar di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Labuan, dengan mengikuti tahap-tahap sebagai berikut: 1) pengantar/pembukaan, 2) informasi, demonstrasi, dan aktivitas perseorangan, 3) informasi, demostrasi, dan aktivitas kelompok, 4) kuis evaluasi dan, 5) penutup. Kata kunci: Model PPKK, aktifitas perseorangan, aktifitas kelompok. Abstract: The aimed of this research was to describe application the instruction of individual and small group model (IISG ) to improve students’ achievement of algebraic form operation in grade VIII Smp Negeri1 Labuan. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) that referred to Kemmis dan Mc. Teggart research design, that was 1) Planning, 2) Acting, 3) Observing, and 4) Reflecting. The research subject of this research was the students in grade VIII a total 17 people, and choose 3 students as the informant . The research refer that The application of IISG Model can improve the students’ achievement of algebraic form operation on grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Labuan. It follow the phases:1) introduction/opening, 2) information, demonstration, and individualiz activities, 3) information, demonstration, and group activities 4) evaluation quis, and 5) closing. Keywords: IISG Model, individual activities, group activities.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Penyelesaian Persamaan Kuadarat di Kelas VIII Anggur SMP Negeri 4 Palu. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yakni (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi dan (4) refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 32 siswa dan dipilih tiga orang siswa sebagai informan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Pada siklus I banyaknya siswa yang tuntas yakni 19 siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan 59,37% dan pada siklus II banyak siswa yang tuntas yakni 25 siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan 78,12% . Hasil observasi aktivitas guru pada siklus I berada pada kategori baik dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II berada pada kategori sangat baik. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I berada pada kategori baik dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II berada pada kategori sangat baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII Anggur SMP Negeri 4 Palu pada materi Penyelesaian Persamaan Kuadrat, dengan delapan komponen yaitu: 1) placement test, 2) team, 3) teaching group, 4) student creative, 5) team study, 6) whole class unit, 7) fact test dan 8) team scores and team recognition. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI; hasil belajar; Penyelesaian Persamaan Kuadrat. Abstract: This research aimed to describe about the aplication of cooperative learning model Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) can improved the learning outcomes on Settlement of quadratic equation at VIII Anggur SMP Negeri 4 Palu. This research was a classroom action research which referred to Kemmis and Mc.Taggart research design that were (1) planning, (2) implementation of the action (3) observiation and (4) reflecting. The subject were 32 students and three students were selected as informants. This research was conducted in two cycles. In the first cycle the number of student who pass are 19 student with classical learning completeness percentage 59,37% and the second cycle the number of students who pass are 25 student with classical learning completeness percentage 78,12%. The result of observation of teacher activity on the first cycle that were in good category and increased on the second cycle that were in very good category. The result observation of students activity on the first cycle that were in good category and increased on the second cycle that were in very good category. The result of the research showed that Cooperative Learning Model TAI can improved learning outcomes of VIII Anggur of SMP Negeri 4 Palu on Settlement of quadratic equation, eight some componens: 1) placement test, 2) team, 3) teaching group, 4) student creative, 5) team study, 6) whole class unit, 7) fact test dan 8) team scores and team recognition.
