Paper writing skills for Akamigas Polytechnic Students Palembang had not reached the expectation. They still had difficulties organizing the ideas into written forms and effective sentences. They did not understand the paper writing systematically, how to cite, and how to write the bibliography. They were caused by the use of limited teaching materials, by relying on PowerPoint as the main media. This research aimed to find out what the students needed of Edmodo-writing module. This research is a part of the identification of teaching material needs to explore the needs of the teaching materials. Therefore, this research applied the qualitative approach with descriptive method. The data were collected with a closed-questionnaire and interview. The need analysis showed a percentage of 97.1% of students preferred the Internet as the reference source to any other. Therefore, it is important to technology-based learning media that provided several applications. They could facilitate both lecturer and students to share and to learn the materials. The data showed 87.1% of students needed technology-based teaching materials, such as Edmodo. A percentage of 91.4% of students stated that they wanted technology-based teaching materials that were developed into modules assisted with Edmodo. Besides that, a percentage of 95.7% of students wanted guidelines to facilitate them applying the module and using the Edmodo.

Pada tingkat mahasiswa keterampilan menulis sangat diperlukan agar dapat mengungkapkan ide dan menuliskannya ke dalam bentuk tulisan akademik. Tulisan akademik yang diajarkan pada mata kuliah bahasa Indonesia yaitu menulis gagasan dalam bentuk proposal penelitian, bentuk makalah, bentuk ringkasan buku, bentuk resensi, bentuk artikel, dan bentuk laporan yang ditulis secara logis dan sistematis dalam bentuk laporan. Sebagai bagian tidak terpisahkan dari kehidupan akademik, penulisan karya ilmiah memiliki beberapa tujuan dan fungsi. Bertujuan untuk memecahkan masalah tertentu, mencapai tujuan khusus, menambah pengetahuan, ilmu, dan konsep pengetahuan tentang pokok masalah tertentu, membina kemampuan menulis dan berpikir ilmiah bagi penulisnya. Selain tujuan-tujuan yang telah disebutkan di atas, karya ilmiah juga memiliki fungsi sebagai berikut: fungsi pendidikan, fungsi penelitian, dan Fungsi fungsional. Melihat betapa pentingnya karya tulis ilmiah, penulis karya ilmiah harus benar-benar paham isi karya tulis ilmiah dan menyusun karyanya dengan baik dan benar, serta dapat dipertanggung jawabkan secara ilmiah.

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode The Learning Cell terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Palembang. Jenis penelitian eksperimen yang menggunakan sampel dalam kelas belajar (intact group) untuk diberi perlakuan. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 76 siswa yang terbagi menjadi dua kelas yaitu VIII.5 sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional sebanyak 38 orang siswa dan kelas VIII.6 sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan metode The Learning Cell sebanyak 38 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan membaca pemahaman, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan perhitungan uji-t dengan program SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui nilai terendah tes awal 24,49 kelas eksperimen dan nilai terendah kelas kontrol 29,87. Nilai tertinggi untuk kelas eksperimen 85,65 dan kelas kontrol 84,68. Hasil tes akhir yang diperoleh nilai terendah kelas eksperimen 53,05 dan kelas kontrol 33.96. Nilai tertinggi kelas eksperimen adalah 100 dan kelas kontrol 82,86. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan membaca pemahaman anatar siswa yang pembelajaranyya menggunakan metode The Learning Cell dan yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional.

This research is the development of teaching materials module with edmodo on the material of writing papers for students of Akamigas Palembang Polytechnic, with the aim of describing the needs of students and lecturers for learning to write papers, producing teaching materials module writing papers with Edmodo, describing the results of module validation, describing the module trial, and describing the potential impact of the module on student learning outcomes. This development research uses a modification of the Jolly and Bolytho and Dick, Carey, and Carey models. Twenty students and 1 Indonesian language lecturer at Akamigas Palembang Polytechnic are the objects of this research. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and tests, the feasibility of the teaching materials developed can be seen from the validation results by three experts on 3 components of the teaching materials. Based on the results of expert validation, the total score obtained from the assessment of the feasibility of content/material, language, and media obtained a score of 90 out of a maximum score of 105 (converted to 85.71). Based on this score, it can be concluded that the Writing Paper Module with Edmodo that was developed is declared good or feasible to use. In the paired sample t-test on the essay writing test, the difference in the average pretest and posttest scores was 41,000 with a standard deviation of 9.706 and a significance level (2-tailed) of 0.000 <α (0.05), so that the Essay Writing Module with Edmodo has a potential impact on improving students' essay writing skills. The researcher concluded that the essay writing module with Edmodo produced can be used in learning activities and has a potential impact on improving students' essay writing skills.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana tujuan program tercapai serta bagaimana kualitas kebahasaan laporan aksi sosial yang disusun oleh mahasiswa Teknik Eksplorasi Produksi Migas pada kegiatan di sekolah menengah pertama di sekitar lingkungan industri migas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik analisis isi terhadap dua puluh laporan aksi sosial mahasiswa. Fokus analisis diarahkan pada kesesuaian antara tujuan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan, serta pada aspek kebahasaan laporan yang mencakup ejaan, keefektifan kalimat, kepaduan paragraf, dan kelengkapan unsur laporan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar laporan telah menggambarkan ketercapaian tujuan kegiatan dengan cukup baik. Sekitar 70% laporan menunjukkan keselarasan antara tujuan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan, yang tercermin dari adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa SMP mengenai keselamatan dan safety sign. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat laporan yang belum sepenuhnya menjelaskan keterkaitan antara perencanaan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan. Dari sisi kebahasaan, kualitas laporan mahasiswa masih beragam. Sekitar 30% laporan masih ditemukan kesalahan ejaan, penggunaan kalimat yang kurang efektif, serta kurangnya kepaduan paragraf dan pemanfaatan landasan teori. Secara umum, kegiatan aksi sosial mahasiswa dapat dikatakan berjalan cukup efektif. Namun, laporan kegiatan sebagai karya akademik masih memerlukan penguatan, khususnya dalam aspek kebahasaan dan pendalaman analisis agar lebih sesuai dengan kaidah penulisan ilmiah.

The Society 5.0 era brings a new paradigm to various aspects of life, including the world of education. This concept emphasizes the integration between technological sophistication and human needs, which encourages the education system to adapt dynamically. Educational transformation is a necessity in order to be able to produce human resources who are not only digitally competent, but also have empathy, creativity, and critical thinking skills. For educators, this era presents challenges such as the digital literacy gap, limited infrastructure, and the need for changes in learning approaches. However, on the other hand, Society 5.0 also opens up broad opportunities, such as the use of artificial intelligence technology, data-based learning, and access to global learning resources. This article comprehensively discusses the challenges and opportunities faced by educators in responding to educational transformation in the Society 5.0 era, while reflecting on strategies that can be carried out to improve the quality of adaptive and humanistic learning.

The development of digital technology and social media has brought significant changes to the learning process in higher education, including in academic writing. This study aims to analyze the implementation of social media-based academic writing learning in higher education institutions in Indonesia through a literature review approach. The research method used is a literature study by reviewing various scientific articles, national and international journals, proceedings, and relevant academic sources that discuss the use of social media in academic writing learning in higher education environments. The results of the study indicate that the use of social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Google Classroom can improve academic interaction, student collaboration, writing creativity, and learning motivation in the academic writing process. Social media also provides easy access to learning resources, rapid feedback, and learning flexibility that support the development of students' scientific writing skills. In addition, the use of social media in academic writing learning is considered effective in creating a more participatory and communicative learning environment. However, several challenges are faced, such as distractions from social media use, low academic digital literacy, and the potential for plagiarism in the writing process. This study concludes that social media-based academic writing learning has significant potential to improve the quality of academic writing instruction in Indonesian universities if supported by appropriate pedagogical strategies, strong academic supervision, and ongoing technology integration. This research is expected to serve as a reference for academics and educational institutions in developing effective digital learning innovations that are adaptive to technological developments.
