This study used SPSS analysis tool to investigate the effect of Islamic financial socialization and education on public interest in using Islamic banking services, involving a sample of 66 respondents in two major cities in Indonesia. A survey method with a questionnaire was used to collect data, which was then statistically analyzed using SPSS. The results of data analysis showed that Islamic financial socialization and education had a significant positive impact on increasing public interest in Islamic banking services. This finding confirms that an effective educational approach in improving the understanding of Islamic finance principles, such as profit-sharing and the prohibition of riba (interest), plays an important role in supporting the growth of the Islamic banking sector in Indonesia. Consequently, Islamic banks and financial institutions need to continuously improve their Islamic financial socialization and education strategies to expand people's access to religiously-compliant financial services and to strengthen sustainable financial inclusion in the country. This study aims to explore the effect of Islamic financial socialization and education on people's interest in using Islamic banking services, using SPSS analysis tools and involving a sample of 66 respondents in two major cities in Indonesia. A questionnaire survey method was used to collect data covering respondents' perceptions and level of understanding of Islamic finance concepts. The collected data were then statistically analyzed using SPSS to evaluate the relationship between socialization and education variables with interest in using Islamic banking. The results showed that Islamic financial socialization and education had a significant impact on increasing public interest in Islamic banking services. More than 65% of respondents showed increased interest after being involved in the socialization and education program. This finding reinforces the importance of a comprehensive education strategy in explaining the principles of Islamic finance such as profit-sharing, prohibition of riba (interest), and transparency in financial practices. The implication of this study is the importance of Islamic banks and financial institutions to continue developing Islamic financial socialization and education programs as part of the effort to build public understanding and trust in Islamic financial products. This will not only support the growth of the Islamic banking sector in Indonesia, but also strengthen broader and more sustainable financial inclusion within it. As such, this study contributes to supporting sustainable economic development through the promotion and adoption of Islamic financial principles that are in line with religious values.

This research examines the method of calculating the cost of maintaining pawned goods from the perspective of sharia economic law, with a focus on studies at the Sharia Pawnshop, Radin Intan Branch, Bandar Lampung. Sharia pawning is an important financial instrument in the Islamic economic system, where valuables are used as collateral for debts. One of the crucial aspects in the practice of pawning is determining the maintenance costs for the goods being pawned, which must be done in accordance with sharia principles to avoid elements of usury and ensure justice for all parties involved. This research uses a qualitative approach with a field study method. Data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews with related parties at Pegadaian Syariah Radin Intan Branch. The results of the research show that the Sharia Pawnshop Radin Intan Bandar Lampung Branch in carrying out the calculation of maintenance costs for pawned goods is in accordance with the National Sharia Council fatwa Number 25/DSN-MUI/III/2002. Sharia pawnshops calculate the amount of maintenance costs based on the estimated value of the collateral (marhun) and provide discounts to customers to ease the burden of maintenance costs. However, from the perspective of Sharia Economic Law, the system for calculating maintenance costs needs to be reviewed because the percentage of costs charged is quite high, especially for collateral items that do not require special maintenance. Additional or excess costs from the amount of debt repayment that exceeds the principal amount are included in the category of usury.

The Village Community Empowerment Institution (LPMD) plays a strategic role in encouraging community participation and realizing good village governance; however, its implementation has often not functioned optimally. This study is motivated by problems in the implementation of Article 7 letter D of the East Lampung Regent Regulation Number 26 of 2023 concerning Village Community Institutions and Village Traditional Institutions. The core issue of this research lies in the role of the LPMD in Labuhan Ratu Dua Village, Way Jepara, Lampung Timur Subdistrict, which has been largely taken over by village officials. This condition has affected the legitimacy of village governance, public service delivery, and public trust in government administrators. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the LPMD’s role in Labuhan Ratu Dua Village from the perspective of siyāsah tanfīẓiyyah. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method. Data were collected through interviews with LPMD members and village officials and were analyzed using modern governance theory and principles of Islamic political thought. The findings indicate that the role of the LPMD has not been carried out in accordance with existing regulations, as most of its functions have been assumed by village officials. Consequently, the LPMD tends to function merely in a formal and administrative capacity. This situation has resulted in the suboptimal application of the principles of participation, transparency, and accountability in village governance. The study concludes that the weakness of the LPMD’s role is caused by village governance practices that do not yet reflect equal institutional partnerships. This condition implies the need to strengthen the role of the LPMD and to implement Islamic values in governance, so that local democracy functions not only procedurally but also substantively and justly.

The growth of the financial technology (fintech) lending industry in Indonesia has given rise to a new phenomenon in debt collection practices known as digital tasyrir, which refers to the act of publicly shaming or threatening debtors through mass messages, social media posts, and the dissemination of personal data. This study aims to analyze the practice of digital tasyrir from the perspectives of Islamic economic law and Indonesian positive law. Employing a normative juridical research method with statutory, conceptual, and maqasid al-shari'ah approaches, this study examines various DSN-MUI fatwas, OJK regulations, and fiqh muamalah doctrines. The findings reveal that digital tasyrir is prohibited (haram) under Islamic law as it violates the principles of hifzh al-'irdh (preservation of honor) and hifzh al-nafs (preservation of life), contradicts DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 117/DSN-MUI/II/2018, and infringes upon the Electronic Information and Transactions Law, the Personal Data Protection Law, and POJK No. 10/POJK.05/2022. This article recommends strengthening regulations based on Islamic principles, developing dignified collection mechanisms, and promoting Islamic digital financial literacy.

The advancement of digital technology has facilitated economic activities, communication, and public services, yet it has simultaneously created new avenues for digital fraud and various forms of cybercrime. The cross-border and dynamic nature of technology-based crimes which exploit the anonymity and complexity of digital systems poses challenges for the evolution of criminal law. This study aims to analyze the development of criminal law in response to digital fraud and cyber offenses, specifically regarding the nature of these crimes, criminal liability, electronic evidence, and the need to align legal policies with technological advancements. The research employs a normative-juridical approach, analyzing relevant legislation, legal doctrines, and scholarly literature. The findings indicate that the evolution of digital crime necessitates a shift in criminal law from conventional approaches toward a legal framework that is more adaptive to the characteristics of technology. Strengthening regulations, clarifying the construction of criminal liability, optimizing the use of electronic evidence, enhancing the capacity of law enforcement officials, and fostering inter-agency and cross-border cooperation are crucial aspects of combating digital fraud and cyber offenses. Consequently, the development of criminal law should not focus solely on sanctioning perpetrators but also on establishing a law enforcement system capable of ensuring legal protection, certainty, and effectiveness in addressing the transformation of crime within the digital realm.
