Abstract

Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi di era society 5.0 berkembang sangat pesat. Perkembangan teknologi yang digunakan dalam interaksi sosial pada media sosial mempengaruhi perubahan bahasa. Penggunaan bahasa gaul sebagai bentuk interaksi sosial pada media sosial TikTok mempengaruhi penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar. Diperlukan adanya usaha yang strategis dalam mempertahankan Bahasa Indonesia yang mulai tergerus oleh bahasa gaul. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan jenis bahasa gaul dan strategi pemertahanan Bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dan pustaka. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengamati, mencatat dan membaca berbagai sumber mengenai strategi pemertahanan bahasa. Hasil dari penelitian ini terdapat lima jenis bahasa gaul antara lain: 1) Bahasa Indonesia, 2) bahasa Inggris, 3) bahasa daerah, 4) bahasa Korea, dan 5) bahasa campuran. Sedangkan strategi pemertahanan bahasa yang diperlukan antara lain: 1) pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia, 2) kampanye kesadaran di media sosial, 3) konten edukasi di TikTok, 4) membuat aplikasi edukasi, dan (5) kegiatan komunitas.Kata-kata kunci: Era Society 5.0, Bahasa Gaul, Strategi Pemertahanan Bahasa.  AbstractThe development of technology in the era of Society 5.0 influences language changes. The use of slang as a form of social interaction on the TikTok social media platform affects the proper use of the Indonesian language. This research aims to describe the types, forms of slang, and strategies for preserving the Indonesian language. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative and literature. Data collection techniques were carried out by observing, taking notes, and reading various sources on language preservation strategies. The results of this research reveal five types of slang from Indonesian, English, regional languages, Korean, and a mixture of languages. Based on their forms, slang can be categorized as: 1) nasalization +s, 2) reversal of phoneme structure, 3) changes in the final syllable with -ay, 4) abbreviation forms, acronyms, fragments, 5) word reversal, and 6) original forms. Meanwhile, language preservation strategies needed include: 1) Indonesian language education, 2) awareness campaigns on social media, 3) educational content on TikTok, 4) creating educational applications, and 5) community activities.Keywords: Society 5.0 Era, Slang Language, Language Maintenance Strategies.

Abstract

Character education is education that develops cultural values and national character so that individuals possess and apply these values in their lives as members of society and citizens who are religious, productive, and creative. Film is a popular medium that not only serves as entertainment but also as a means of character education.This study aims to analyze the representation of character education values in an Indonesian animated film titled Jumbo through Roland Barthes' semiotic approach. The analysis focuses on visual and verbal signs that represent character values such as nationalism, integrity, discipline, responsibility, cooperation, creativity, and social awareness. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques from watching and recording scenes, dialogues, and visual symbols in the film. The results of the analysis show that each scene contains denotati.ve, connotative, and mythical meanings that are interrelated, thus forming a contextual and implicit representation of character education values. The film Jumbo features the character Don, who faces bullying, the loss of his parents, and social challenges, but is guided by his family and friends to develop courage, empathy, and integrity. The interactions between characters, visual symbols, and the film's storyline are able to instill moral and social values in child and adolescent audiences. Thus, this film is not only a medium of entertainment but also serves as an effective educational tool for the internalization of character values, in line with the Character Education Strengthening Program (PPK) in Indonesia
