Abstract

The fermentation of cocoa beans is an important part of cocoa processing. Fermentation of cocoa beans increases the quality and price of the beans and the resultant cocoa. Although the fermentation of cocoa beans can increase the quality and income of cocoa farming, few farmers in Indonesia implement this fermentation process. This research therefore, focuses on the way Indonesian farmers assess whether or not to ferment their cocoa beans. A total of 284 cocoa farmers were sampled in Central Sulawesi Indonesia. The results showed that out of the more than 50% of farmers who did not ferment their cocoa beans, a majority were simply not interested in increasing the quality of the resultant cocoa. The quality of cocoa beans produced from smallholder plantations, therefore, was continually poor. The decision of cocoa farmers to ferment their cocoa beans, meanwhile, was significantly affected by the gender, age and education level of the head of the household, the number of productive family members, the quantity of cocoa bean production, and the resultant price of the fermented cocoa beans in the market. The resultant price of the fermented cocoa was the most dominant factor.

Abstract

The aims of the research were: (1) to determine the effect of land area size, seeds, urea and KCl fertilizer, pesticides, and labors on the production of corn in Oloboju village Sigi Biromaru sub district of Sigi district, and (2) to determine the income of the corn farming system in Oloboju village Sigi Biromaru sub district of Sigi district.  Farmer respondents of 32 people were purposively selected.  The results of analysis showed that simultaneously such factors as seeds (X2), fertilizers (X3), and pesticides (X4) had significant effect on the corn production whereas land area size (X1) and labor (X5) are not significant.  The Fcounted was 10.557>the Ftable (3.297) at 90% level, thus H0 was rejected and H1 accepted.  The results of analysis indicated that the average income of the corn farmers in Oloboju village Sigi Biromaru sub district of Sigi district was IDR 1,240,526/0.46 ha. Key Words:  Corn Farming, Fram Income and Production.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai profitabilitas usaha peternakan telur ayam ras pada CV.Bellona Mandiri Di Desa Kalukubula Kecamatan Sigi Biromaru Kabupaten Sigi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan September sampai Oktober 2020. Penentuan lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara sengaja (purposive) dengan pertimbangan bahwa CV. Bellona Mandiri merupakan salah satu usaha ternak ayam ras petelur yang tergolong dalam usaha yang sedang berkembang dan memberikan kontribusi terhadap penyuplaian telur di Kota Palu. Penentuan responden dilakukan secara sengaja (Purposive) dengan Jumlah responden sebanyak 5 orang yakni 1 pimpinan dan 4 karyawan. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis pendapatan dan analisis profitabilitas Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai profitabilitas selama kurun waktu dua bulan sebagai berikut: Nilai gross profit margin 48,56%, nilai net profit marjin 34%, nilai return on investment 21,79% dengan pendapatan sebesar Rp 567.216.380. Nilai tersebut cukup tinggi Sehingga menghasilkan keuntungan sangat baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendapatan usahatani Kelapa Sawit di Desa Ako Kecamatan Pasangkayu Kabupaten Pasangkayu. Penelitian di laksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai Maret 2021. Bertempat di Desa Ako Kecamatan Pasangkayu Kabupaten Pasangkayu. Penentuan responden dilakukan dengan metode sampel acak sederhana (Simpel Random Sampling Method) dengan jumlah sampel 31 petani dari 110 petani kelapa sawit. Metode analisis digunakan adalah analisis pendapatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata produksi kelapa sawit 371.226 Kg/5,61 Ha/Tahun atau 66.172 Kg/Ha/Tahun dan rata-rata penerimaan yang di peroleh petani sebesar Rp.392.400.000/6,06Ha/Tahun atau sejumlah Rp.69.946.524/Ha/Tahun, sedangkan total biaya yang dikeluarkan petani rata-rata sebesar Rp.38.246.426/6,06Ha/Tahun atau sejumlah Rp.6.817.545/Ha/Tahun. Dan pendapatan usahatani kelapa sawit di Desa Ako Kecamatan Pasangkayu Kabupaten Pasangkayu sebesar Rp.354.153.574/6,06Ha/Tahun atau sebesar Rp.63.128.979 /Ha/Tahun.

Abstract

The study aimed to understand why fruit traders prefer to sell non-seeded watermelons than seeded one, and to determine the income generated by non-seeded watermelon trading at the Manonda Inpres Market in Palu City. It was conducted using a case study approach with a census technique, where all the population was taken as the research sample in September to November 2021. The study found that fruit traders prefer to sell non-seeded watermelons because there is a higher demand for them compared to seeded watermelons. Additionally, the income generated by non-seeded watermelon trading is higher for both wholesalers and retailers. Specifically, the wholesalers earn IDR 7,984,964.29/month, while retailers earn IDR 6,702,528.65/month. The study provides useful insights into the preferences of fruit traders and the income generated by non-seeded watermelon trading.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa besar pendapatan petani rumput laut.Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif dan kualitatif.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dengan metode observasi, kuisioner dan wawancara. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan metode sensus, dengan mengambil semua petani rumput laut yang masih aktif. Dalam hal ini jumlah responden yang masih aktif berjumlah 30 orang.Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis pendapatan.Hasil analisis pendapatan yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pendapatan yang diperoleh petani rumput laut satu kali musim tanam sebesar Rp. 11.192.867/1,1ha atau dikonversikan sebesar Rp.10.175.334/ha.Oleh karena itu, keberlanjutan usaha perlu dikembangkan dalam hal meningkatkan kualitas produksi sehingga harga jual produk lebih tinggi yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakatnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa besar pendapatan petani jagung hibrida di Desa Benggaulu Kecamatan Dapurang Kabupaten Pasangkayu. Pengumpulan Data yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini bersumber dari dua jenis data yakni data primer dan data sekunder.Data primer diperoleh langsung dari lapangan dengan cara wawancara kepada responden dengan menggunakan daftar pertanyaan (kuisioner). Sedangkan data sekunder sebagai penunjang penelitian ini diperoleh dari Kantor Statistik serta kantor Insstansi lainnya yang erat kaitannya dengan penelitian ini. Penentuan responden dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode acak sederhana. Jumlah responden 120 populasi , yang ditetapkan sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 32 sampel. Untuk menetukan sampel digunakan rumus Slovin.Metode analisis menggunakan metod e analisis pendapatan π= TR – TC. Untuk Hasil anlisis pendapatan petani yaitu penerimaan dikurang dengan total biaya. Sehingga hasil analisis pendapatan petani sebesar Rp. 7.065.406,70 dengan total biaya yang yang dikeluarkan sebanyak Rp. 4.875.130,62 dalam 1 kali musim tanam
