Abstract

Kelompok tani mitra dalam pelaksanaan program kemitraan masyarakat ini adalah kelompok tani “Tunas Harapan” yang berlokasi di Desa Sejahatera Kecamatan Palolo Kabupaten Sigi beranggotakan 15 orang petani dan termasuk kelompok tani produktif dan aktif melaksanakan aktvitis usaha tani kakao. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh kelompok tani tersebut dalam usaha tani kakao adalah: (1). tanaman kakao kurang produktif karena sudah berusia tua (2) serangan hama penggerek dan pengisap buah kakao 3). serangan penyakit busuk buah dan pembuluh kayu atau Vascular Streak Dieback (VSD) (4). Kurang perawatan tanaman kakao oleh petani. Hasil rembuk dengan anggota kelompok tani mitra disepakati untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dianggap prioritas untuk segera diatasi dalam pelaksanaan program kemitraan masyarakat ini yakni upaya peningkatan produktivitas tanaman kakao dan pengendalian hama dan penyakit dengan teknologi tepat guna berbasis kearifan lokal serta perbaikan manajamen kelompok tani. Program kemitraan masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan anggota kelompok tani mitra dalam perakitan teknologi tepat guna dalam perbaikan budidaya tanaman kakao, teknologi tepat guna dalam pengendalian hama kakao, teknologi tepat guna pengendalian penyakit kakao, serta teknologi tepat guna pengembangan pupuk organik. Metode yang akan diterapkan adalah : pelatihan, demonstrasi teknologi, demplot, pendampingan dan pembinaan yang dilakukan secara partisipatif. Pada pelaksanaan pelatihan dan demplot akan diberikan materi tentang teknologi tepat guna side grafting, pengendalian hama PBK menggunakan predator Dolichoderus thoracicus, teknologi tepat guna pengendalian penyakit penyakit busuk buah kakao dengan biofungisida, dan teknologi tepat guna pembutan pupuk organik berbahan baku limbah kulit buah kakao. Hasil akhir yang diharapakan dari program ini adalah terjadinya kesinambungan produksi kakao masyarakat agar penghasilan yang diterima tetap dapat dipertahankan dengan tersedianya paket teknologi tepat guna yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan serta berbasis kearifan lokal.

Abstract

The fermentation of cocoa beans is an important part of cocoa processing. Fermentation of cocoa beans increases the quality and price of the beans and the resultant cocoa. Although the fermentation of cocoa beans can increase the quality and income of cocoa farming, few farmers in Indonesia implement this fermentation process. This research therefore, focuses on the way Indonesian farmers assess whether or not to ferment their cocoa beans. A total of 284 cocoa farmers were sampled in Central Sulawesi Indonesia. The results showed that out of the more than 50% of farmers who did not ferment their cocoa beans, a majority were simply not interested in increasing the quality of the resultant cocoa. The quality of cocoa beans produced from smallholder plantations, therefore, was continually poor. The decision of cocoa farmers to ferment their cocoa beans, meanwhile, was significantly affected by the gender, age and education level of the head of the household, the number of productive family members, the quantity of cocoa bean production, and the resultant price of the fermented cocoa beans in the market. The resultant price of the fermented cocoa was the most dominant factor.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of price attributes, physical perfection, and freshness of organic vegetables on organic vegetable purchase in Palu. The number of samples in this research was 60 people determined by quota sampling technique. Path analysis was used to analyze data. Price, physical performance, and freshness are factors affecting consumers’ preferences to purchase the organic vegetable in Palu.  These three variables have significant effect on the organic vegetable purchase in Palu.  The price, physical perfection and freshness of the vegetables simultaneously had significant effect on purchasing variable with R² equal to 0.763.

Abstract

This research aim was to determine the influence of various factors on clove production in Tolitoli regency. This research was conducted from September to November 2018. Data were collected from 86 clove farmers who were selected using a simple random method. The data was processed and analyzed using production function of Cobb-Douglass. The results showed that simultaneously, the independent variables (X) significantly influenced the dependent variables (Y) and the coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.89. Partially, four factors significantly influence the cloves production including land area (X1), ZA fertilizer (X3), Phonska (X4), and the labors (X5) whereas the age of the clove is the only factor that did not significantly affect. Keywords: Cloves, Cobb-Douglass and Production Factors.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to determine the effects of inputs including land area, seeds, urea fertilizer, phonska fertilizer, and labor on rice production, and to determine the income generated from lowland rice farming in Masani Village, Poso Pesisir Sub District, Poso District. Respondents of 58 household head were selected using a census method. Data analysis was performed using the Coob-Douglas function analysis and income analysis. The findings of the research revealed that 89.50% of the variation in the rice production can be attributed to the effects of the land area, seeds, urea fertilizer, phonska fertilizer, and labor. The remaining 10.50% of the variation was influenced by other factors that were not accounted for in the estimation model. On average, the farmers in Masani Village, earn approximately IDR 15,233,951.35/ha/planting season.

Abstract

This study examined the effect of various production factors—including land area, seed type, urea fertilizer application, labor input, and farmer age—on corn production in Uelene Village. Respondents were selected via a simple random sampling method from a population of 102 farmers, resulting in a sample size of 31 farmers. The analysis employed the Cobb-Douglas production function to evaluate the relationships between the variables. The findings indicate that 97.2% of the variance in corn production can be attributed to the specified variables, while the remaining 2.8% is accounted for by other factors not included in the model. The F-value obtained (F-count = 171.015) exceeds the critical value (F-table = 2.60), suggesting a significant simultaneously effect of the production factors on corn production in Uelene Village. In terms of individual contributions, three variables—land area, seed type, and urea fertilizer—demonstrated a significant effect on corn production, implying that increases in these factors correspond to higher yields. Conversely, labor input and farmer age were found to have no significant effect on corn production in this context. This research contributes valuable insights for agricultural stakeholders in optimizing resource allocation for enhanced corn production in the region.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the financial feasibility of cocoa farming in Ogodopi Village, Kasimbar District, over the period of November to December 2019. The village was selected purposively due to its prominence in cocoa production within the region. A sample of 33 cocoa farmers was chosen from a population of 124 using a simple random sampling technique. Financial feasibility was assessed using Net Present Value (NPV), Net Benefit-Cost Ratio (Net B/C), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP), and Sensitivity Analysis. Initial results indicated an NPV of IDR 576,322,972, a Net B/C of 1.33, an IRR of 10%, and a PP of 1.3 years, suggesting financial feasibility. Further sensitivity analysis, considering a potential 10% decrease in production, resulted in an NPV of IDR 858,617,192, a Net B/C of 0.50, an IRR of 39.35%, and a PP of 1.4 years. These findings confirm that cocoa farming in Ogodopi Village remains financially feasible under varying economic conditions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi permintaan konsumen cabai rawit di Pasar Labuan Induk Kecamatan Labuan Kabupaten Donggala. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pasar Labuan Induk kecamatan Labuan Kabupaten Donggala pada Bulan Januari sampai Maret 2021. Responden sebanyak 30 orang dipilih dengan menggunakan metode sampel aksidental. Analisis yang digunakan Analisis regresi berganda. Variabel terhadap permintaan cabai rawit di pasar Labuan ditunjukkan dengan R Square sebesar 0,060 yang berarti bahwa permintaan cabai rawit dipengaruhi oleh harga cabai rawit, harga cabai besar, pendapatan konsumen, jumlah tanggungan keluarga, dan umur konsumen sebesar 60% dan sisanya sebesar 40% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam persamaan. Pengujian secara simultan pada taraf nyata (α) = 5% diperoleh nilai bahwa harga cabai rawit, harga cabai besar, pendapatan konsumen, jumlah tanggungan keluarga, dan umur secara simultan berpengaruh nyata terhadap permintaan cabai rawit di pasar Labuan. Secara parsial variabel harga cabai rawit, dan umur konsumen berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap permintaan cabai rawit di pasar Labuan, sedangkan variabel harga cabai besar, pendapatan konsumen, Dan tanggungan keluarga berpengaruh nyata terhadap permintaan cabai rawit di pasar Labuan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan unuk: (1) mengetahui berapa besar pendapatan usaha gula merah Aren di Desa Lembah Harapan Kecamatan Dampal Selatan Kabupaten Toli-Toli. lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Lembah Harapan Kecamatan Dampal Selatan Kabupaten Toli-Toli, pada bulan April-Mei 2021. Penentuan lokasi dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive) dengan pertimbangan bahwa Desa Lembah Harapan merupkan daerah penghasil gula aren terbesar di Kecamatan Dampal Selatan. Penentuan sampel menggunakan metode sensus yaitu sebanyak 33 populasi pengrajin gula aren dijadikan sebagai responden. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan wawancara langsung dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis pendapatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil produksi yang diperoleh setiap bulan sebesar 361/kg dengan harga jual Rp15,000/kg. Sehingga, diperoleh penerimaan rata-rata sebesar Rp5.418.182/Bulan dan total biaya rata-rata yang dikeluarkan sebesar Rp1.988.310 /Bulan. Maka diperoleh rata-rata pendapatan responden sebesar Rp3.429.872/Bulan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis respon petani terhadap tekhnik sambung pucuk kakao dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi respon petani terhadap tekhnik sambung pucuk kakao di Kecamatan Lore Utara Kabupaten Poso. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 44 orang petani yang menerapkan sambung pucuk. Penentuan responden dilakukan secara sengaja (Purposive sampling) dan untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan analisis skala likert dan analisis korelasi rank spearmank. Hasil analisis respon petani terhadap tekhnik sambung pucuk kakao di Kecamatan Lore Utara Kabupaten Poso menunjukkan nilai persentase sebesar 85,80 % hal tesebut termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi, dan terdapat hubungan nyata (signifikan) terhadap faktor produksi, ketahanan hama dan penyakit, pengalaman berusahatani, peran penyuluh, dan peran kelompok tani terhadap respon petani dalam penerapan tekhnik sambung pucuk tanaman kakao di Kecamatan Lore Utara Kabupaten Poso Sulawesi Tengah.
