Abstract

The mathematics learning outcomes of most of the VIII grade students of MTsN Lubuk Buaya have not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria. One of the efforts that can be made by the teacher to activate students in learning which can improve student learning outcomes is to apply an active learning strategy of the Listener Team type using Microsoft Powerpoint media. The purpose of this study was to determine the activities and learning outcomes of students' mathematics by implementing an active learning strategy of Listening Team type using Microsoft Powerpoint media. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The population of this study were students of class VIII MTsN Lubuk Buaya. The sampling technique was done by drawing numbers and the selected samples were students of class VIII.2 as the experimental class and class VIII.3 as the control class. The data were first tested for normality, homogeneity test and analysis of variance. The results showed that the mathematics learning outcomes of students who used the application of the Listener Team type active learning strategy using Microsoft Powerpoint media were better than conventional learning in class VIII MTsN Lubuk Buaya. The student activity data was obtained through observations at each meeting in the experimental class which showed that students' mathematics learning activities increased after being taught by implementing an active learning strategy of Listening Team type using Microsoft Powerpoint media in class VIII MTsN Lubuk Buaya.

Abstract

Reading materials for elementary school students need to be adapted to the level of cognitive development at the concrete operational level. One source of reading that is suitable and liked by students is comics. The purpose of this study is to theoretically examine the role of comics in learning in order to increase knowledge and attitudes towards environmental care. This type of research is library research. Literature research has a data collection method by taking data from various references, reading, taking notes, and processing research materials. The data collection technique in this study was to find data from various references related to research problems. The instrument used is a checklist for the classification of research materials. The results showed that educational comics could increase students' knowledge of disaster mitigation. This is because the non-fiction elements in the mitigation concept that are packaged in visuals and fictional storylines can make students enjoy reading. The concept of disaster mitigation in comics can also foster an environment care attitude.

Abstract

The observation results show that there is no teaching material in the form of modules used bymathematics teachers at SMAN 1 Painan. Based on the problems and research objectives, this type ofresearch is a quasi experiment. This research was conducted on two groups, namely the experimentalclass using guided inquiry-based modules and the control class using conventional learning. Thepopulation in this study were all students of class X MIA SMAN 1 Painan for the academic year2020/2021 which consisted of 5 classes. To get the sample class, namely the experimental and controlclasses, the random sampling technique was used. Class X.MIA 4 was chosen as the experimentalclass and class X.MIA 3 was chosen as the control class. The instrument used was a test consisting of5 questions on concept understanding tests. The data analysis used the t test because the data werenormally distributed and homogeneous. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, a significance levelof 0.0035 was obtained. It means that Ho is rejected, this means that the understanding of students'mathematical concepts taught by using guided inquiry-based modules is better than conventionallearning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the monotonous teacher teaching method, which requires students to remember the material without asking to understand the concept of learning mathematics. So that mathematics learning has not achieved the expected results. To solve this problem, the Discovery Learning model (guided discovery) is a solution that will be tried. The goal is that there is a change in student learning attitudes and teacher teaching so that they will get good learning outcomes and achieve KKM. This research model uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods, with a random research design on the subject. The population in this study were students of class VII MTsS Darussalam Amping Parak for the 2020/2021 academic year which consisted of two classes. The sampling technique was carried out randomly, class VIIB as the experimental class and VIIA as the control class. The instrument used in this study was a reliable essay final test. The data analysis technique used is the one-party t test. Hypothesis testing using the one-party t-test, obtained t = 3.21 and t table = 1.67. Because tcount> ttable, this research hypothesis is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of students using the Discovery Learning Model are better than the mathematics learning outcomes of students taught using conventional learning in class VII students of MTsS Darussalam Amping Parak for the 2020/2021 academic year

Abstract

Learning resource is a material that can be utilized in support of teachers in the learning process, either directly or indirectly to improve the learning objectives. Learning resources that are usually used for teachers in the school including the Student Worksheet. The purpose of this peneltian is making mathematical constructivism-based learning device which features a mind folder on the material of the triangle and quadrilateral which is valid and practical. This research is research development by using the 4-D model of development which consists of define, design, develop, disseminate. In this phase, the needs analysis conducted define the analysis of curriculum, learner analysis, and analysis of materials-related problems in learning mathematics. On the design phase carried out the design of Constructivism-based student work sheet that comes mind folder on the triangular and quadrilateral meteri, then conducted a validation by experts. Phase test the practicalities do develop to a limited extent. The practicalities of data retrieved from sheet keterlaksanaan worksheet students, and practicalities of learners

Abstract

SMAN 2 Pasisir is in the Red Zone position and the people there are still unfamiliar with safety in the event of an earthquake. We know that students are usually very panicked when there is an earthquake, but there is no knowledge given either from parents or teachers to children or students. For the need for the Implementation of Disaster Preparedness Schools in SMAN 2 Ranah Pesisir. The purpose of this study is to look at the implementation of a disaster preparedness school in the in SMAN 2 Ranah Pesisir, where the importance of students is to know a disaster preparedness school. Whereas in SMAN 2 Ranah Pesisir is very potential for earthquake and tsunami disasters because it is in the tsunami hazard zone, Coastal Area Public High School is in a radius of 1-2 KM if pulled straight from the shoreline. If there is a tsunami potential to be affected is very large because based on the condition of the school located in a very wide plain without any barrier waves such as buildings and buildings. The students 'knowledge about earthquake and tsunami mitigation as a whole is in the good category while the students' knowledge about the earthquake and tsunami disasters is in the sufficient category, this can be seen from the large frequency and percentage in the table above. Based on the evacuation path to TEA from in SMAN 2 Ranah Pesisir, students only ran straight towards TEA as far as 500 meters towards the hill. The tsunami evacuation route in in SMAN 2 Ranah Pesisir is still classified as inappropriate but the evacuation network has no barrier or obstruction to TEA. In addition, the distance from the settlement to the evacuation route and continued to the final evacuation site is sufficient, because the final tsunami evacuation site for people walking is approximately 30 minutes

Abstract

Flood disaster is one of the natural disasters that cause huge losses, especially in West Sumatra Province. For this reason, a disaster alert attitude is needed by the community and students as a form of disaster mitigation, one of which is through disaster-oriented learning activities through Geography. This study aims to identify areas in West Sumatra that are potentially affected by floods and identify the types of floods that often occur in the West Sumatra region in order to determine disaster mitigation efforts. The type of research conducted is qualitative descriptive. The method used is the study of literature from various references, both reading sources and data from the West Sumatra BNPB and BPBD. The type of data used is data obtained from documentation techniques, relevant sources, and disaster data from West Sumatra BPBD and BNPB. The results of this study show that the most potentially flooded areas are Padang Pariaman Regency, 50 Kota Regency, Agam Regency, Sijunjung Regency. Types of flooding that often occur are river flooding, flash floods, and urban drainage floods. It was concluded that the implementation of flood-oriented geography learning was most appropriate to be carried out in these 4 Regency

Abstract

This study aims to find out and obtain information about the application of the consept of geography learning models that will form students' disaster alert characters in STKIP Pesisir Selatan by conducting meta-plan analysis and bayes analysis. This Study is descriptive qualitative using observation, interviews, and documentation in data collection. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion that has been done before, it can be concluded that the Student Empowerment Strategy of South Coast STKIP In Forming Disaster Alert Character. The results of the analysis using the Bayes method there are four policy priorities that can be applied for development are 1) Students form a disaster alert group or forum with a value of 4,545 2) related socialization to disaster disaster by lecturer staff with a value of 4,524 3) emergency response training for disaster preparedness with value of 4,333 4) making direction directions to tsunami shelters and evacuation routes in several locations with a value of 4,222

Abstract

This research begins with the problem of low PKN learning outcomes in Class VII2 SMPN 1 Gunung Tuleh. This study aims to determine the results of student learning through learning model Active Learning Type Role Reversal Question. This research includes classroom action research. This study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings, each of which includes planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques with observation, documentation, and tests. Data analysis conducted in this research is reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of research on that improvement of learning outcomes can be seen from the average value of student evaluation results that have increased in each cycle. Student learning result through learning model of Active Learning Role Type Reversal Question at pre cycle stage of 30,77% (67,77) in cycle I with complete learn student that is 53,85% (72,81) and at cycle II mastery learn student ie 92.31% (82.50). Thus, the Active Learning Model Role Reversal Question model can make students feel easier to understand the material presented by the teacher. The results of this study indicate that the use of Active Learning Model Role Reversal Question type with reword action can improve learning outcomes in class VII2 SMPN 1 Gunung Tuleh
