This research was motivated by the understanding of the mathematical concepts of class VII students of SMPN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti which were still low and the learning process was still conventional, so students were less active in learning. One of the actions that can be taken is to apply the cooperative learning model Index Card Match (ICM) type. This study aims to determine whether understanding mathematical concepts of students using cooperative learning models Index Card Match (ICM) type is better than understanding students' mathematical concepts using conventional learning. This type of research is a quasi-experimental, the population in this study were all VII grade students of SMPN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti consisting of 5 classes. Sampling by Random Sampling, the sample in this study was class VII1 as the experimental class and class VII3 as the control class. The instrument in this study is a test of the ability to understand mathematical concepts. Analysis of the data used is the t test. Hypothesis test results obtained t_count = 1.912 and t_table = 1.672 with α = 0.05 and dk = 57, so t_count> t_tabel. This means rejecting Ho, which means that understanding mathematical concepts of students using cooperative Index Card Match (ICM) type is better than understanding students' mathematical concepts using conventional learning.

The ability of mathematical communication is one of the goals of mathematics learning so that this ability is expected to grow and experience improvement. However, it was found that the communication skills of grade VIII students at SMPN 1 Bonjol were still low. Based on the results of observation can be concluded that the cause is the learning model used has not been able to enable students in the learning process. So that the learning process has not been able to develop students' mathematical communication skills. One of the learning model that can develop students' mathematical communication ability is cooperative learning model Think Talk Write (TTW). The purpose of this study is to determine whether the mathematical communication skills of students with the application of cooperative learning model Think Talk Write (TTW) is better than the mathematical communication ability of the control class students. The type of this research is experimental research with Randomized Subjects Posttest Only Control Group Design. Population in this research is student of class VIII SMPN 3 Talamau. The sample of the research is students of class VIII.1 and VIII.2 SMPN 3 Talamau. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that students' mathematical communication ability by applying cooperative learning model Think Talk Write (TTW) is better than mathematical communication ability of students with conventional learning.

Proses pembelajaran matematika di siswa SMP Negeri 2 Sutera belum sepenuhnya terlibat secara aktif selama proses pembelajaran, sehingga pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kurang baik. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS). Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui apakah pemahaman konsep matematis siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematis siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional pada materi perbandingan SMP Negeri 2 Sutera kelas VII. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 13 Januari 2020 sampai 14 Februari 2020 dengan menggunakan metode Kuantitatif, pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes berupa soal essay yang menguji pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran konvensional.

This study originated from the problem of low communication skills of students in SMPN 3 Talamau. This is caused partly because the learning is still centered on the teacher. Students are not actively involved in the multiplication concepts or ideas of mathematics. To overcome these problems used cooperative learning model STAD through techniques Quick On The Draw. This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning STAD type through techniques Quick On The Draw the students' mathematical communication skills. This type of research is a Quasi Exsperiment. The study population was all students of class VII SMPN 3 Talamau enrolled in the second semester of the school year 2012/2013. Sample selection is done by random sampling so chosen as an experimental class is the class VII1 and as the control class is the class VII2. The research instrument was the test the ability of the initial and final test in the form of a matter of mathematical communication skills. Data analysis was performed using the t test and ANOVA two-way interaction. The analysis showed that: the ability of mathematical communication students taught by cooperative learning model STAD through techniques Quick On The Draw better than students taught by conventional learning, communication skills mathematically capable students beginning high and low taught by cooperative learning model STAD through techniques Quick on the Draw better than students taught by conventional learning and there is no interaction between the learning model and the initial capabilities of the students' mathematical communication skills.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena ada beberapa tujuan pembelajaran matematika yang belum tercapai salah satunya kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Salah satu faktor kurangnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis, siswa diantaranya adalah hanya mendengarkan penjelasan guru, kemudian mencatat dan menyelesaikan soal latihan. Hal ini, mengakibatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa terbatas pada informasi yang diberikan guru. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan menerapkan Model Eliciting Activities (MEAs). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan menggunakan Model Eliciting Activities (MEAs) lebih baik daripada kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional di kelas XI IPS MAN 4 Pasaman Barat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Eksperimen semu. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan teknik Random Sampling sehingga yang terpilih sebagai kelas eksperimen adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 1 da\n sebagai kelas kontrol adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 2. Analisis Data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t dengan taraf diperoleh thitung= dan ttabel = 1,669 sehingga Hal ini berarti tolak dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan menggunakan Model Eliciting Activities (MEAs) lebih baik daripada kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional di kelas XIIPSMAN 4 Pasaman Barat

Hasil belajar matematika yang diperoleh siswa SMPN 1 Ranah Pesisir Masih rendah. Hal ini terjadi karena proses pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru. Selain itu, kurangnya penguasaan materi prasyarat juga merupakan salah satu kendala yang ikut mempengaruhi rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi adalah dengan menggunakan Model pembelajaran Think Pair Share. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model pembelajaran Think Pair Share terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian dilakukan dua kelas yang dikelompokkan sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen pembelajaran dilakukan dengan menggunakan Model pembelajaran Think Pair Share , sedangkan pada kelas Kontrol pembelajaran dilakukan dengan menggunakan Model Konvensional. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil tes belajar yang analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t. Hasil analisi data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan Model pembelajaran Think Pair Share lebih baik dari pada siswa yang pembelajaran menggunakan model konvensional

Abstract : This study aims to reveal the students' mathematical reasoning abilities after being given treatment metacognitive learning strategies. The research is a pre-experimental study design Randomized Control Group Only Design. Sampling was conducted using random sampling techniques so chosen as an experimental class is a class XI IPS 2 and a control class is the class XI IPS 1. The research instrument is a student activity observation sheet and test students' mathematical reasoning abilities. Data analysis was performed using the t test with significance level ? = 0.05. Based on t test was done, obtained t = 1.9155 and table = 1.69 it is seen that thitung> ttabel means to reject H0 and accept H1. So it can be concluded that the mathematical reasoning skills students learn better metacognitive learning strategies than students who studied with conventional strategies in class XI IPS SMAN 1 Talamau West Pasaman academic year 2016/2017

Learning resource is a material that can be utilized in support of teachers in the learning process, either directly or indirectly to improve the learning objectives. Learning resources that are usually used for teachers in the school including the Student Worksheet. The purpose of this peneltian is making mathematical constructivism-based learning device which features a mind folder on the material of the triangle and quadrilateral which is valid and practical. This research is research development by using the 4-D model of development which consists of define, design, develop, disseminate. In this phase, the needs analysis conducted define the analysis of curriculum, learner analysis, and analysis of materials-related problems in learning mathematics. On the design phase carried out the design of Constructivism-based student work sheet that comes mind folder on the triangular and quadrilateral meteri, then conducted a validation by experts. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui masalah perkuliahan daring pada pembelajaran mata kuliah Matematika Diskrit dan untuk mengetahui solusi permasalahan pembelajaran daring mata kuliah Matematika Diskrit. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Tahapan penelitian dimulai dari perancangan penelitian melalui diskusi, penyusunan proposal, pengumpulan data, dan penyusunan laporan penelitian. Data diambil dari angket yang diisi dalam bentuk geogle drive oleh mahasiswa STKIP Ahlussunnah yang mengambil mata kuliah matematika diskrit pada semester genap 2019/2020. Hasil angket temuan masalah pembelajaran daring pada mata kuliah Matematika Diskrit terletak pada proses evaluasi pembelajaran yang belum dapat diwadahi dengan sesi diskusi/tanya jawab. Solusi yang diwarkan pada penelitian ini adalah penggunaan Lembar Matematika Kerja Diskrit. Tahapan penelitian dimulai dari perancangan penelitian melalui diskusi, penyusunan proposal, pengumpulan data, dan penyusunan laporan penelitian. Data diambil dari angket yang diisi oleh mahasiswa dan doskumentasi screenshoot dari pembelajaran daring. Hasil angket mahasiswa menunjukkan bahwa Lembar Kerja Matematika Diskrit dapat membantu mahasiswa memahami materi secara mandiri, karena LKMD menyajikan materi yang konstruktivism, disertai dengan contoh soal dan latihan.
