Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of problem-based learning model supported by Quizizz application on the learning outcomes of IPA students in 5th grade. This study was a quantitative study using experimental quasi-experimental design with Non-Equivalent Control Gorup Design, with two class groups namely experimental class and control class. The data in this study were analyzed with descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistics. Results showed that there is an influence of Quizizz app-supported problem-based learning model on the IPA learning outcomes of 5th grade SDN 192 Inpres Takkalasi students. This is shown by the average posttest score of the control class which reached only 67.28 while in the experimental class the mean value of the posttest reached 91.40. Based on the results of the hypothesized independent sample t-test, the sig. (2-tailed) equal variance assumed value obtained 0.000 indicating that 0.000 < 0.05 or in other words H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, which means that there is an influence of the problem-based learning model supported by Quizizz application on the IPA learning outcomes of 5th grade students.

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas V B di SD Inpres Sero Kabupaten Gowa. Masalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa di sebabkan oleh metode guru dalam mengajar yang kurang manarik dan monoton hanya menggunakan metode ceramah. Melihat keadaan tersebut, maka peneliti ingin meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran IPA dengan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran yang tepat. Dari hal tersebut peneliti merumuskan masalah "Apakah Penggunaan Model Active Learning tipe Card Sort dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA Kelas V B di SD Inpres Sero Kabupaten Gowa". Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). PTK merupakan penelitian yang dilaksanakan oleh guru di kelasnya yang memiliki maksud untuk meningkatkan dan memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. Pada siklus I hasil belajar siswa hanya mencapai tingkat tuntas ada 17 siswa atau sekitar 62,96%, dan yang mencapai tingkat belum tuntas ada 10 siswa atau sekitar 37,04%. Sedangkan pada siklus II hasil belajar siswa sudah mencapai tuntas ada 24 siswa atau sekitar 88,89%, dan belum tuntas ada 3 siswa atau sekitar 11,11%. Dengan peningkatan yang cukup pesat ini penulis mencukupkan penelitian karena peneliti merasa dengan menggunakan model Card Sort yang diterapkan guru di kelas V B SD Inpres Sero Kabupaten Gowa. Dengan diterapkannya model Active Learning tipe Card Sort dapat mempermudah guru dalam menjelaskan materi dan memudahkan peserta didik dalam memahami pelajaran dikarenakan model pembelajaran yang digunakan cukup menarik mungkin untuk menarik perhatian siswa tetapi tetap mementingkan materi yang akan disampaikan kepada peserta didik bisa mudah dipahami dan dapat membuat peserta didik untuk fokus memperhatikan pelajaran.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to improve the pedagogical competence of teachers at SD Inpres Paccinongang through the socialization of Deep Learning strategies. The main problem found in partner schools is the dominance of conventional teaching methods that limit students' critical analysis skills in the digital era. This activity is part of the Teaching Skills Stabilization (PKM) course of the Master of Basic Education Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. The implementation method is carried out through three stages: planning (observation), implementation (socialization and Q&A), and reporting (evaluation and reflection). The results of the activity show that this socialization successfully provided practical understanding to teachers regarding active student engagement techniques and innovative teaching content design. Teachers showed high enthusiasm in discussing solutions to instructional challenges in the classroom. In conclusion, this activity is effective in transforming the teacher's role into a learning facilitator capable of sharpening students' cognitive intelligence and character deeply. Continuous mentoring is recommended so that the implementation of deep learning can run consistently in schools.
