Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi tantangan operasional yang dihadapi oleh banyak usaha laundry, termasuk Raphi Laundry, yang masih mengandalkan pencatatan manual sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan inefisiensi dan kesalahan data. Sebagai solusi, dikembangkan sebuah sistem informasi manajemen laundry berbasis website dengan menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD), yang berfokus pada kecepatan, fleksibilitas, dan keterlibatan pengguna sejak tahap awal. Metodologi penelitian mencakup tahapan requirements planning, perancangan sistem, konstruksi, dan cutover. Website ini dibangun menggunakan Filament, framework Laravel, PHP, JavaScript, dan MySQL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berhasil dirancang dan dikembangkan dengan fungsionalitas utama seperti pendaftaran, login, pemesanan layanan, serta pengelolaan data oleh admin. Pengujian fungsionalitas melalui metode Black-Box Testing membuktikan bahwa seluruh fitur berjalan dengan baik. Selain itu, evaluasi usability menggunakan Usability Heuristics menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini telah memenuhi kriteria kemudahan penggunaan yang baik, dengan antarmuka yang intuitif dan alur kerja yang efisien, sehingga user-friendly bagi pengguna. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini berhasil menciptakan sebuah platform manajemen laundry yang efektif, mudah digunakan, dan terstruktur untuk mendukung digitalisasi operasional bisnis.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in driving economic growth and maintaining the stability of Indonesia's economy, particularly through the two-wheeled vehicle rental service sector, which contributes to meeting the public's transportation needs. One business operating in this sector is Rental Motor Kukusan, located in Depok City. However, the booking and data management processes at this business are still carried out manually, which potentially leads to operational inefficiency and hinders service delivery to customers. This study aims to design and develop a Website-based motorcycle rental application using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. Data were collected through observation, interviews using the 5W+1H approach, and a literature review. The developed system covers vehicle data management, customer data management, booking, rental approval, rental status monitoring, and financial administration. System testing was conducted using Black Box Testing, the System Usability Scale (SUS), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The test results show that all system features function as required, with a 100% success rate in Black Box Testing. The SUS test obtained a score of 78.65, which falls into the Good category, Grade B+, and is classified as Acceptable, while the UAT results yielded an average score of 4.6 out of 5, indicating a very high level of user acceptance. These findings indicate that the developed application is able to structure the data management and booking processes, improve operational efficiency, and make it easier for customers to obtain information and place orders online.
