Abstract

Introduction:. Chlorella sp. is a type of microalgae that has high nutritional value and is often cultivated for various purposes such as medicines or supplements. One of the efforts that can be made to optimize the benefits of Chlorella sp. microalgae with a combination of gourami fish oil formulated in an emulsion reparation. Aims: determine the best formula and physical stability of Chlorella sp. microalgae emulsion with gourami fish oil. Method: making emulsion with varying concentrations of Chlorella sp. microalgae with gourami fish oil (F1= 1:1, F2= 2:1, and F3=3:1). The physical preparation stability test will be carried out such as organoleptic test, homogeneity, pH, viscosity, emulsion type and stability. Results: all three formulas met the requirements for physical evaluation of emulsion preparations, only in the stability test there was separation at F3 (3:1). The type of emulsion produced is oil in water (O/W). Conclusion: the best formula according to the test results is F1 & F2.

Abstract

As time goes by, there will be several lifestyle changes, one of which is people's consumption patterns. The widespread use of health supplements is one of the many things that has changed in people's consumption patterns. However, some people who consume health supplements only follow the times, without knowing the indications of these health supplements. In fact, health supplements are basically consumed to support nutritional deficiencies or strengthen a weak immune system, not as a substitute for the main nutrients that we should get from food. In addition, knowledge about health supplements is very dependent on age, so children still have quite poor knowledge about food supplements

Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of the Project-Based Learning (PBL) method on the learning motivation of Mathematics students at FMIPA Universitas Mataram. The primary objective is to assess the effectiveness of PBL in enhancing learning motivation and to explore the influencing factors, namely Facilities (X₁), Lecturer Role (X₂), and Skill Development (X₃). This research employs a quantitative descriptive method, with a population of 257 Mathematics students from FMIPA Universitas Mataram, covering the 2020–2023 cohorts. The sample is determined using the Stratified Random Sampling method. Data were collected through research instruments that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive analysis (pie charts, bar charts, histograms, and scatter plots) and multiple linear regression to identify the influence of the independent variables (X₁, X₂, X₃) on (Y). The findings indicate that 63.8% of the variation in learning motivation (Y) can be explained by Facilities (X₁), Lecturer Role (X₂), and Skill Development (X₃). Both simultaneous and partial tests confirm that all independent variables contribute significantly to students’ learning motivation. These results suggest that the PBL method is not only effective in enhancing learning motivation but also holds potential as an innovative teaching strategy in higher education.
