Abstract

Taxation is one of the most important fiscal policy instruments, serving as the main source of state revenue and a tool for regulating the distribution of wealth. Taxation acts as the foundation of the economy in Indonesia and significantly influences its growth trajectory. Taxes are an obligation in social life where every level of society must contribute to paying contributions to the state in accordance with the applicable Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. By analyzing applicable tax policies, this research evaluates the effectiveness of the Indonesian tax system in achieving economic development goals, including the structure and types of taxes in Indonesia, and challenges in implementing the tax system. Apart from that, this study also identifies the impact of taxation on economic growth.

Abstract

Islamic economics was born as a response to the need for an economic system that is not only oriented towards profit, but also towards social justice and human welfare. This article discusses the reconstruction of philosophical values ​​in Islamic economics as an effort to create an inclusive and sustainable economic order. With a conceptual approach, this study highlights principles such as justice, balance, and social responsibility that are at the core of Islamic economics. These values ​​are reinterpreted in a modern context to address global challenges, including economic disparities and moral crises in the business world. The results of the analysis show that the application of the philosophical values ​​of Islamic economics is not only able to improve the economic structure, but also create universal welfare that is in line with the objectives of sharia (Maqashid Syariah). Therefore, the integration of these values ​​is important in formulating fair and ethical economic policies.

Abstract

. The Islamic money market and capital market are important parts of the ever-evolving Islamic financial system. This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the instruments and mechanisms used in both markets, as well as to compare their functions and see their impact on the Islamic economy in general. Through a literature study, the discussion includes the types of instruments, how the market works, and the role of supervisory institutions in maintaining compliance with Islamic principles. The results of the study show that both the Islamic money market and capital market have a significant contribution in supporting financial activities that are in accordance with Islamic values. Pasar uang dan pasar modal syariah merupakan bagian penting dalam sistem keuangan Islam yang terus berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran menyeluruh mengenai instrumen dan mekanisme yang digunakan dalam kedua pasar tersebut, serta membandingkan fungsinya dan melihat dampaknya terhadap perekonomian syariah secara umum. Melalui studi literatur, pembahasan mencakup jenis-jenis instrumen, cara kerja pasar, serta peran lembaga pengawas dalam menjaga kepatuhan terhadap prinsip-prinsip syariah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa baik pasar uang maupun pasar modal syariah memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan dalam mendukung aktivitas keuangan yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam.
