Abstract

WHO determines normal Hb levels, the limit for pregnant women is 11.0 g for pregnant women. Honey is given to pregnant women because honey has the property of helping increase hemoglobin levels and helping the absorption of Fe. The aim of this research is to find out how honey affects increasing hemoglobin in pregnant women. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a pre test–post test design with control group. The population in this study were pregnant women in the Baturetno Wonogiri health center area. The sample in this study was 25 respondents from the control group and 25 respondents from the intervention group. Univariate analysis was carried out to determine the frequency distribution of maternal characteristics. In this study, the data that was obtained was then tested for normality using the Shapiro Wilk test. The results of the normality test obtained a p value > 0.05, so it was stated that the data was normally distributed. The results are said to be significant if the p value is <0.05, then H0 is rejected, which means there is a significant influence and if the p value is > 0.05, then H0 is accepted, which means there is no significant influence. Bivariate analysis of the independent t test resulted in a p value of 0.01 where the p value <0.05, it can be stated that it is significant for the variables studied. There is an effect of honey consumption on increasing hemoglobin in pregnant women, so from these results it is hoped that pregnant women will be recommended to consume blood supplement tablets and honey to increase hemoglobin levels and prevent anemia in pregnancy.

Abstract

Back pain is the most common complaint with a prevalence rate of 49%. About 80-90% of pregnant women who experience back pain state that they do not make any efforts to overcome the symptoms, in other words only around 10-20% of them do medical care to health workers. One treatment is non-pharmacological therapy with warm compresses which can provide a feeling of comfort. The hot feeling caused by warm compresses can result in vasodilation, namely the blood vessels widen and improve blood flow so that the muscles become more relaxed. This type of quantitative research is a quasi-experimental design with a serial one-group pretest and posttest design. The total sampling data collection technique was obtained. The data analysis used parametric statistics because the data is normally distributed using Paired T-Test with a significant level of <0.05. The reduction in the intensity of low back pain during the first intervention (post test 1) was an average of 5.514, after the second intervention (post test 2) the average was 4.511, and after the third intervention (post test 3) the average was 3.425. And the most significant decrease was in the second intervention with a t value of 27.499. Here is a significant effect on reducing lower back pain in third trimester pregnant women in both the first, second and third interventions with a p value of 0.000 (p <0.005). However, the most significant effect was on the second intervention with a t value of 27.499.

Abstract

One of the reasons why breastfeeding problems are caused by breast milk not coming out is because the mother is less willing to give her breast milk, some families even suggest giving formula milk as a substitute for breast milk. Postpartum mothers and their families do not know that there is a way to express breast milk quickly and can increase breast milk production, one of which is by doing oxytocin massage. This oxytocin massage method can stimulate the breasts to increase the production and smooth flow of breast milk. Subject and method: Respondents from breastfeeding mothers at PMB Yuni Wazaituni Sukoharjo. Total sampling technique for taking respondents. The number of respondents was 32 people. Quantitative research using a Quasi Experimental method research design. Results: There was an effect of giving oxytocin massage on breast milk production in PMB Yuni Wazaituni Sukoharjo, both in the treatment group with a p value of 0.000 (<0.05) and the control group with a p value of 0.000 (<0.05). There is a difference in the effect of the effectiveness of oxytocin massage on breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers in the treatment group and the control group with a p value of 0.020.
