Abstract

Kebutuhan akan informasi status keberadaan seseorang didalam suatu ruangan kerja sangat diperlukan untuk menunjang efektifitas dalam bekerja. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut tujuan penulisan ini adalah membuat papan elektronik untuk penyediaan informasi dengan menggunakan LED sebagai penampil. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan antara lain melakukan analisis kebutuhan, merancang sistem, melakukan uji coba, dan mengimplementasikan hasil rancangan. Berdasarkan pada hasil uji coba dapat dinyatakan bahwa sistem siap diimplementasikan dengan baik, keberadaan seseorang dapat diketahui secara langsung melalui papan penampil yang disediakan

Abstract

Dalam dunia industri penggunaan daya listrik dengan kapasitas yang besar sering sekali ditemukan berbagai permasalahan yang disebabkan oleh beberapa factor. Permasalahan tersebut antara lain adanya beban-beban induktif yang muncul dari beban yang terpasang seperti motor listrik, trafo, generator listrik dan lainnya. Yang dapat menyebakan menurun nya kualitas daya listrik dan rugi rugi daya sehingga dapat menimbulkan harmonisa yang dapat memepengaruhi komponen komponen elektronika. Maka perlu dilakukan perbaikan kualitas daya listrik dengan menaikkan factor daya atau cos phi. Perbaikan cosphi dapat dilakukan dengan menambah kapasitor bank, Pengamatan yang dilakukan melalui studi kasus di PT.Permata HIjau Palm Oleo Kim II Ini menyelidiki tentang pengaruh pemasangan kapasitor bank yang digunakan untuk peningkatan faktor daya (power factor) dengan kompensator kapasitor bank yang menghasilkan daya reaktif kapasitif (Leading) untuk melawan daya reaktif induktif (Lagging) beban listrik tiga phasa. Dimana melalui hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan guna perbaikan faktor daya beban di PT.Permata HIjau Palm Oleo Kim II, dari faktor daya mula-mula sebesar 0,87 menjadi 0,97.

Abstract

The need for efficient and environmentally friendly electric two-wheeled vehicles is increasing along with awareness of the impact of pollution. One of the main challenges in the development of electric vehicles is controlling the speed of DC motors precisely and efficiently. This study aims to design and implement a DC motor speed control system on a two-wheeled vehicle using the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) method. PWM was chosen because of its ability to regulate motor power efficiently through variations in the width of the digital signal pulse, thereby reducing energy waste and excess heat. The research methods include designing a microcontroller-based PWM circuit, simulating system performance using MATLAB/Simulink software, and direct testing on DC motors with input voltage variations of 3–12 volts. The test results show that the system is able to produce a linear speed response, with an increase in motor rotation from 0 rpm at 3 volts to 1500 rpm at 12 volts. This system is also proven to be energy efficient with power efficiency reaching 85% and reducing motor heat by 20%. Thus, the implementation of PWM as a DC motor speed controller on a two-wheeled electric vehicle not only improves performance and responsiveness, but also contributes to environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Indonesia has great potential in renewable energy, especially solar energy, due to its geographical location in the tropics. This research aims to plan an efficient and sustainable Public Street Lighting (PJU) system in Tanjung Gusta Village, Sunggal District, by utilizing new and renewable energy (NRE). Tanjung Gusta Village has a need for adequate street lighting to improve the safety, mobility, and quality of life of the community. The research method includes field surveys to analyze conditions, calculation of lighting needs based on applicable standards, and PJU system design using NRE. The results of the study show that the PJU system with solar power is the most suitable solution for Tanjung Gusta Village, taking into account the availability of resources. The planning of this solar PJU system includes the selection of the type of lamp to be used, determining the capacity of the solar panel and battery, and calculating the optimal layout and height of the light pole.
