Abstract

Concrete has a weakness against tensile forces. One way to improveconcrete's weakness in tensile strength is by adding fiber to the concrete mix which iscalled fiber concrete. This research was to determine the compressive strength andsplit tensile strength of normal concrete with the addition of coconut fiber aged 7days, 14 days, and 28 days. The percentage of additional coconut fiber fiber is 0.5%;2.5%; 4.5%; 6.5%; and 8.5% of the total volume of concrete. Testing the compressivestrength and split tensile strength of concrete used cylindrical samples with adiameter of 10 cm and a height of 20 cm. The fiber used is coconut fiber with a lengthof 30 mm. The compressive strength value of concrete without the addition of fiber at28 days was 31.33 MPa, while concrete with the addition of 0.5%; 2.5%; 4.5%; 6.5%;and 8.5% coconut fiber obtained compressive strength values of 33.05 MParespectively; 33.72 MPa; 24.46 MPa; 16.47 MPa; and 9.23 MPa. The split tensilestrength value of concrete without the addition of fiber at 28 days was 2.835 MPa,while concrete with the addition of 0.5%; 2.5%; 4.5%; 6.5%; and 8.5% coconut fiberobtained split tensile strength values of 3.497 MPa respectively; 3,754 MPa; 4,029MPa; 3,345 MPa; and 3.039 MPa, while the maximum compressive strength valueoccurs in the 2.5% variation concrete with the addition of coconut fiber, namely33.05 MPa, while the maximum split tensile strength value occurs in the 4.5%variation concrete with the addition of coconut fiber fiber, namely 4,029 MPa. Theresults ofthe split tensile strength equation based on the compressive strength valueof concrete at a percentage of 0% were 0.507√f'c, while in concrete the addition ofcoconut fiber was at 0.5%; 2.5%; 4.5%; 6.5%; and 8.5% respectively amounted to0.608√f'c; 0.646√f'c; 0.815√f'c 0.824√f'c 1.0004√f'c.

Abstract

BPS West Bandung Regency in 2021 recorded a population of 1,181,226 people with an annual growth rate of 1.65%, with a growth rate that continues to increase every year, the need for housing in West Bandung Regency is increasing. Therefore, KPRI Universitas Pendidikan Indoensia plans to build housing, namely Graha Isola Housing to meet housing needs in West Bandung Regency, especially in Pasirhalang Village, Ciasarua District, West Bandung Regency. Housing development requires suitable land so it is necessary to evaluate land conditions and the level of disaster vulnerability because the housing site is located in an area with the potential for landslides. The research used descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. The data used include National Digital Elevetion Model (DEM) data, Rupa Bumi Indonesia (RBI) Map of West Bandung Regency, Soil Type, Rock Type, rainfall data, West Bandung Regency RTRW Map and other literature sources. The results showed that the land suitability at Graha Isola housing site is in accordance with the land use conditions in the field, namely non-residential land so that residential development can be carried out. And the level of landslide hazard at the housing site is in a low hazard level, so that development can be carried out. However, housing development must also be adjusted to the aspects of livable housing development criteria.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendah nya keaktifan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPA dan dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan tingkat keaktifan belajar peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match di kelas VII SMP Negeri 11 Bandar Lampung pada Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Keaktifan belajar yang diukur dalam penelitian ini mencakup aspek fisik dan mental. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), di mana guru bertindak sebagai pelaksana pembelajaran dan peneliti bertindak sebagai pengamat. Desain penelitian mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2023/2024, khususnya pada bulan Februari. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 33 peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 11 Bandar Lampung, dengan objek penelitian berfokus pada tingkat keaktifan belajar peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data melibatkan lembar observasi dan angket. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif dan disajikan melalui tabel dan grafik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam tingkat keaktifan belajar peserta didik. Pada siklus I, tingkat keaktifan mencapai 67,50% (kategori cukup), yang kemudian meningkat menjadi 78,75% (kategori baik) pada siklus II. Hal ini mencerminkan peningkatan sebesar 14,15% dari siklus sebelumnya. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match dalam mata pelajaran IPA mampu meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 11 Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

This research compares the cost calculation of pile cap construction using conventional and BIM methods in the BTKP laboratory building project in North Jakarta. The selection of the study object was based on the complexity and uniqueness of the pile cap types found in the project. This comparative analysis aims to evaluate the effectiveness of both methods in construction cost estimation, considering that pile cap is a foundation element that requires accurate technical and financial planning. Although conventional methods are commonly used, the challenges in terms of time efficiency and data accuracy are often experienced. On the other hand, the BIM method offers the potential to improve the efficiency of reinforcement volume calculations through 3D models that account for length reductions in each type of reinforcement, unlike manual calculations that tend to show longer reinforcement type calculations. The results show that the cost of PC4 type pile cap construction using the BIM method is lower (IDR 70,356,230.32) compared to the conventional method (IDR 71,038,864.28), indicating the potential for time and cost efficiency with the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM). This study provides a strong foundation for decisions regarding the use of BIM in construction projects in Indonesia, considering efficiency and accuracy as key factors in the future development of the construction industry.  Abstrak Penelitian ini membandingkan perhitungan biaya pekerjaan pile cap menggunakan metode konvensional dan BIM pada proyek gedung laboratorium BTKP Jakarta Utara. Pemilihan objek studi didasarkan pada kompleksitas dan keunikan tipe pile cap yang terdapat pada proyek tersebut. Analisis perbandingan ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektivitas kedua metode dalam estimasi biaya konstruksi, mengingat pile cap merupakan elemen fondasi yang membutuhkan perencanaan teknis dan finansial yang akurat. Meskipun metode konvensional umum digunakan, tetapi sering kali menghadapi tantangan dalam hal efisiensi waktu dan akurasi data. Di sisi lain, metode BIM menawarkan potensi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi perhitungan volume penulangan melalui model 3D yang memperhitungkan pengurangan panjang pada tiap tipe besi, berbeda dengan perhitungan manual yang cenderung menunjukkan perhitungan tipe besi yang lebih panjang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biaya pekerjaan pile cap tipe PC4 dengan metode BIM lebih murah (Rp 70.356.230,32) dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional (Rp 71.038.864,28), menandakan potensi efisiensi waktu dan biaya dengan penerapan Building Information Modeling (BIM). Penelitian ini memberikan dasar kuat bagi keputusan penggunaan BIM dalam proyek konstruksi di Indonesia, mempertimbangkan efisiensi dan akurasi sebagai faktor kunci dalam pengembangan industri konstruksi ke depan.
