Abstract

Kegiatan magang ini merupakan bagian dari pelatihan kerja yang menggabungkan pendidikan di lembaga dan pekerjaan di perusahaan dengan bimbingan dari pelatih atau karyawan berpengalaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi manajemen layanan magang di Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Purwakarta (DISKOMINFO). Namun, saat ini terdapat masalah dalam pengelolaan layanan magang karena belum ada sistem efektif berbasis komputerisasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mempermudah proses registrasi, seleksi, pelaporan, penilaian, hingga pemberian sertifikat magang, serta meningkatkan pengelolaan administratif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan Metode Extreme Programming. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari mahasiswa sebagai pelamar magang dan pihak DISKOMINFO (admin, super admin, dan kepala bidang). Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui studi literatur dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan Pemodelan Berorientasi Objek menggunakan UML untuk merancang sistem, termasuk desain antarmuka pengguna dan database. Sistem informasi layanan magang ini dikembangkan menggunakan PHP versi 7 dan MySQL versi 7.4.11 sebagai database, serta diuji dengan black box testing dan SUS (System Usability Scale). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi manajemen layanan magang ini berhasil membantu mahasiswa dalam melakukan registrasi secara online dan mendapatkan informasi mengenai ketersediaan tempat magang. Fitur logbook juga memudahkan kepala bidang dan pembimbing lapangan dalam memantau progress peserta magang untuk melakukan penilaian kinerja yang lebih baik. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan proses magang menjadi lebih efisien dan terstruktur, serta memberikan manfaat bagi mahasiswa dan pihak DISKOMINFO dalam pengelolaan program magang.

Abstract

CV. Dea Ayu Lestari is a company that operates as a collector and seller of solid waste from factory production. In this company, a small part of the PPIC system is being tested to gain an overview of how the system would work in a large manufacturing company. The data processing process is already computerized but still limited. Some of the newly available data processing processes include processing stock information, which includes incoming and outgoing goods data, as well as stock reports.The system development method used is the Waterfall method, and the development tool utilizes Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling. This system is created using PHP version 5.4.7 and the database utilizes MySQL version 5.5.27. The result is an information management system for processing company data that allows administrators to quickly, accurately, and computerize the data recapitulation process. It covers stock data, incoming and outgoing goods, employee attendance, payroll, financial reports, and sales reports. Likewise, the company director can easily access information in the form of reports such as stock reports, incoming and outgoing goods reports, employee attendance reports, payroll reports, financial reports, and sales reports for the company they manage.

Abstract

Attendance is a crucial aspect of administrative management in both companies and institutions. However, manual attendance systems have several drawbacks, including disorganized data, minimal data control leading to a high potential for data fraud, and vulnerability to data loss or damage. These limitations underscore the need for more efficient and reliable attendance management solutions. This research addresses the challenges of manual attendance tracking for non-ASN (Aparatur Sipil Negara) staff at the Communication and Informatics Agency (Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (DISKOMINFO)) of Purwakarta Regency by developing a user-friendly web-based attendance system. The system leverages the PHP programming language and MySQL database to efficiently record and manage attendance data. The Waterfall method is used as the development framework, ensuring a structured and systematic approach. The system incorporates features designed with Unified Modelling Language (UML) to simplify attendance recording for staff and administrators, including online check-in/check-out, real-time attendance tracking, and automated report generation. Evaluation results demonstrate that the system significantly improves attendance accuracy, reduces administrative burden, and enhances overall efficiency within the office. This research highlights the importance of embracing technology to modernize administrative processes and improve operational effectiveness in government organizations. The implementation of this technology was also tested for its effectiveness using black box testing and the usability scale system.

Abstract

The increasing need for integrated information systems in higher education requires a strategic and structured architectural plan. Universitas Kartamulia Purwakarta faces challenges from fragmented systems among departments and the absence of a long-term roadmap for information technology development. This study aims to design a strategic information system blueprint using the Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) method to support the university’s core processes. A descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method was applied. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The EAP stages include Planning Initiation, Business Modeling, Current System Analysis, Data Architecture, Applications Architecture, Technology Architecture, and Implementation Planning. The results produce an integrated architecture blueprint covering key domains such as student admissions, academic processes, research, and student services. This blueprint provides a strategic foundation for aligning information systems with institutional goals and improving operational effectiveness. The proposed design strengthens the university’s digital transformation and supports the realization of an integrated, efficient, and competitive smart campus.
