The subjects of this study were early adolescents spread across 5 schools in Doro District, Pekalongan Regency, totaling 270 students. The research sampling technique was simple random sampling. This research uses Multiple Linear Regression Test and correlation product moments as data analysis. The research instrument was a bullying behavior scale based on Darmawan's theory, a parent-child interpersonal communication scale based on DeVito's theory and a self-control scale based on Averill's theory. The results showed a relationship between interpersonal communication and self-control towards bullying behavior, which was indicated by R = 0.293, R square = 0.086, F regression = 12.977, p = 0.000 (p <0.001). In addition, it was also found that parent-child interpersonal communication had a negative and significant effect on bullying behavior as indicated by the value of rx1y = -0.245 (p<0.001) and also self-control has a negative and significant effect on bullying behavior as indicated by the value of rx2y = -0,257 ( p <0, 001).

The hypothesis is that there is a positive relationship between self-esteem and career planning optimism, assuming that the higher the self-esteem of adolescents, the higher the optimism of adolescents in career planning. There is a positive relationship between family social support and career planning optimism, assuming that the higher the family social support, the higher Adolescents are optimistic in planning a career, there is a positive relationship between self-esteem and family social support on career planning optimism, with the assumption that the higher the self-esteem and family social support, the more optimistic adolescents are in determining a career. The research subjects in this study used a saturated sample of adolescents aged 15-18 years at the Semarang Child Development Center. The test carried out in this study is an assumption test that contains a normality test and a relationship linearity test. This study uses Product Moment correlation using SPSS 23 for Windows. The results of the data analysis obtained are the correlation coefficient of 0.659 with a significance of 0.000, r_x1y = 0.659 (p <0.01), meaning that the hypothesis is acceptable, namely that there is a positive relationship between the variable self-esteem and optimism for career planning, the second hypothesis obtained a value of 0.589 with a significance of 0.000 , r_x2y = 0.589 (p <0.01) means that the hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a positive relationship between the variable family social support on career planning optimism, then the third hypothesis obtained a value of 0.692, an R square value of 0.479, an F value of 68.853 with a significance level of 0.000. A significance of 0.000 is smaller than alpha 0.01, meaning that the hypothesis is accepted indicating a simultaneous relationship between self-esteem and family social support variables on optimism in career planning.

Abstract

Quarterlife of crisis (QLC) is becoming a new trend for individuals who are confused about their role in society. The demands of social roles and expectations from the environment are increasing as individuals enter more complex stages of adult life. The tendency of QLC is experienced by many millennials today, especially in Semarang City. The conduct of this study aims to analyze the relationship between social comparison and resilience to quarterlife of crisis in the millennial group. The sample criteria used were aged 22-29 years and lived in the city of Semarang with a sample of 105 people. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The research instruments were quarterlife crisis scale (α = .898), social comparison scale (α = .859), and resilience scale (α = .943). The data analysis method used was regression analysis of two predictors and product moment correlation with JASP 0.16 software.   The results of this study showed R = 0.919; R2 = 0.845 and F = 279.002 (p < .0001) means that social comparison and resilience affect the quarterlife of crisis in the millennial group. The value of the coefficient of determination of social comparison variables and resilience to quarterlife crisis variables was 84.5%. The conclusion of the study is that social comparison and resilience simultaneously affect the quarterlife crisis. The implications of the results of this study are expected to be useful not only for millennials but also parents and the surrounding community in understanding their condition about their readiness to face the future by not giving much "pressure" in the form of stigma / negative labels if they do not meet the expected standards.

Abstract

Premarital sexual behavior among emerging adult males is increasing and has become a complex phenomenon influenced by various psychosocial factors, including selfesteem and peer conformity. This study aims to examine the relationship between selfesteem and peer conformity with premarital sexual behavior among emerging adult men. A correlational quantitative approach was used, involving 346 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The instruments consisted of a premarital sexual behavior scale, selfesteem scale, and peer conformity scale. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 26. The findings show that both selfesteem and peer conformity simultaneously have a significant effect on premarital sexual behavior. Specifically, individuals with low selfesteem and high peer conformity are more likely to engage in premarital sexual activities. The study concludes that both independent variables contribute significantly to the emergence of risky sexual behavior. Therefore, interventions focusing on strengthening selfesteem and building resistance to peer pressure are strongly recommended as preventive efforts.
