Abstract

Website-based public services are certainly an important part of supporting the success of a higher education institution, one of which is a journal website for the publication of scientific articles for lecturers and students. However, many of these website-based services are still difficult to use and do not function well. This research was conducted to evaluate whether the ABC Journal website has usability testing acceptability criteria and find out how much user acceptance the website has. The method used in this research is the Usability Testing method. Based on the results of data processing, the average value of the overall usability test to measure the use of the ABC Journal website for the Learnability aspect was 3.25, Efficiency was 3.30, Memorability was 3.20, Errors were 3.28 and Satisfaction was 3.23. These results show that the ABC Journal website is quite easy to use. Suggestions to the administrator of the ABC Journal Website, to increase the value of each aspect of usability so that it can be easy to use for its users.

Abstract

Input and output devices are a system that exists on a computer. A computer is a system consisting of various specific components. These components will later be connected to each other and work together, to carry out processes so that they can produce information. In general, the function of a computer is to receive, process and produce data output, various forms of information in the form of text, audio, images or video. The method used in this research is an adapted literature study, and the research flow is described as follows. Figure 1 shows the data collection method used in this research. The purpose of this data collection is to obtain data that will be analyzed and processed so that any existing problems can be found and it is hoped that this research will find solutions to these problems. To collect data, study the literature. This research uses hardware and software to prove the input devices and output devices that are usually used in organizing computers. The characteristics of the I/O system are influenced by the technology of other components, for example the processor. The performance of the I/O system is more complex than the processor. Therefore, increasing CPU time without directly increasing I/O time does not necessarily improve system I/O performance. Computer system performance can be improved by improving hardware and software component technology. In this research, the focus is on I/O device performance, specifically I/O time. This research examines the relationship between CPU time, I/O time, and elapsed time. The results show that increasing CPU time results in increasing I/O time. I/O system performance is very important for computer users. Response time, also known as total elapsed time, is an important performance measure, especially for single-user and personal computers. In commercial computing, high throughput and short response times are required. Behavior, partners, and data rate are three characteristics used to evaluate I/O systems. The performance of a computer system is determined by various factors, including different users, performance measures, and aspects of the system. Performance improvements can be achieved by improving hardware factors that support overall system performance. Performance measurement can be done through response time (execution time) or throughput. Response time aims to minimize the time between starting and completing a task, while higher throughput can be achieved by serving multiple requests simultaneously. Based on research, it can be concluded that the quality of input, process and output in Islamic educational institutions is influenced by various factors. Student input is critical in determining the quality of education, and the institution has implemented a selective process to ensure the admission of motivated and dedicated students. The educational process is characterized by the application of discipline, adherence to schedules, and the instillation of religious values. The institution's output is reflected in the academic achievements of its students, as well as their motivation and participation in various competitions and activities. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, collecting data through documentation and observation. Data analysis was carried out using triangulation and interpreted qualitatively. This study highlights the importance of a holistic approach to education, integrating religious values, community support, and parental involvement to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

The Strategic planning of information systems needs to be used, because it can support business strategies in organizations/companies in order to achieve business goals more quickly. One method that can be used in strategic planning of information systems is the Ward and Peppard method. This method has a clear framework and also has analytical techniques that focus on business needs & information technology for the future. The purpose of this study was to see the use of the Ward and Peppard method in strategic planning of information systems. The method used in this research is literature study. The results of this study are the Ward and Peppard method in strategic planning of information systems can be used as a method of choice that can be used in strategic planning of information systems in various sectors of life.

Abstract

Decision support systems can be used to help determine a decision. One of the methods used is the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method which is considered a flexible method and suitable for decision making. The purpose of this research is to see the use of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method in a decision support system to assist a decision. This research method is literature study. The results of this research are that the AHP method in decision support systems can be used as a method of choice that can help determine decisions in various sectors of life.

The development of the world of telecommunications continues to improve. Its initial appearance was as first generation technology (1G) which still uses the same system. In 1991, 2G technology began to develop, using a digital system and being able to provide not only voice services but also data services. This technological development was then followed by 3G and 4G. Currently, technological progress has increased very rapidly in almost every field of technology. has created very sophisticated tools to support human work. Abstract

CV. Aren Jaya is an AC service provider located in South Tangerang. In 2017 this shop began to develop by opening new and used AC sales services, AC installation services, used washing machine sales services and washing machine service services. In carrying out the company's business process activities, of course there will always be possible risks and potential risks that can threaten and disrupt business process activities. The need for a risk analysis of existing IS/IT resources in the company, using the ISO 31000:2018 method related to risk management. The purpose of this study is to minimize all possible risks that are currently being experienced or will also occur and provide appropriate recommendations regarding risks that may occur at any time. The research method used in the risk analysis uses the ISO 31000:2018 framework. The results of this risk analysis are in the form of an analysis of the possibility of existing risks, evaluations and risk mitigation plans so that they can produce improvements to existing risks. The final result of the research produces risk recommendations, so the company can adjust to the priorities of the existing risk level, so that it does not interfere with business activities at CV. Abstract

Geographic information systems (GIS) can be said to be a technology that is a tool that can manipulate, store, analyze and even display natural conditions with the help of data. This study focuses on the utilization of GIS applications and websites. The purpose of this study is to see and find out the utilization of GIS applications and websites in human life. The research method used is literature study. In this literature study, 130 international journals and 100 national journals were obtained with the search year of the last 5 years, namely 2018-2022, which were then studied further. 33 selected articles were produced which were used in writing the article. The results of this study are the utilization of geographic information system applications and websites to help human activities and needs in various sectors, such as in the field of education can map the location of industrial work practice locations (PRAKERIN), the health sector can map the location of pharmacies, the transportation sector can provide information related to routes on public transportation and in other sectors.
