Abstract

One of the movement activities in sports is like a handball game. Handball is a fast and precise sport. Players and the ball move quickly and accurately. The handball coaching team at the sports education study program at University of Jakarta was evaluated. The team's productivity was very low in each match. It is also necessary to evaluate the training program to ensure it is arranged properly. Researchers on the team found that to keep up with the game's rhythm and intensity, it's important to increase the player's VO2max, or endurance. The research design used was a one-group pre-test-post-test design. Researchers found that the type of training had a big effect on increasing VO2 Max. On average, there was a 3-level increase from the test before the training to the test after the training. The t-test results show that the training variations have a sig. t test value of 0.000, which is less < 0.05. This means that the hypothesis is true: "Training variations have a significant effect on increasing student endurance." Students in the Sports Education program at Muhamadiyah University in Jakarta showed an increase in performance from the first test, with an average improvement of three levels.

Abstract

This community service program aims to promote the use of APE media for children's motor development. Motor skills are fundamental to a child's development, especially for children aged five to ten years, enabling them to develop more fully. This program focuses on children's motor development, which consists of fine and gross motor skills, through the use of simple media, namely APE (Educational Toys). Through this media promotion, it will be possible to assess the extent of children's motor skill development relative to their age. This community service initiative has a specific target: to promote the use of APE media in schools and at home to support the healthy development of children's motor skills, including both fine and gross motor skills. The methods employed include lectures and demonstrations. The results of the data summary table show that the average pre-test score was 52, while the average post-test score was 85.3. The percentage increase in knowledge about children's motor development was 33.3%. From this data, it can be concluded that there was an increase in knowledge about the modification of Educational Toys at MI Muhammadiyah Ciputat.
