Abstract

This study is entitled Improving the Effectiveness of Correctional Institutions as Part of Law Enforcement in Indonesia. The Correctional Institutions or Lapas, is an institution that is part of law enforcement in Indonesia. The purpose of the construction of the prisoner in Lapas is to ensure that the prisoners who have been released from prison remain accepted by the community and can continue to find employment. As a final part of the Criminal Justice System, the efficiency of Lapas functions and duties as a law enforcement agency is essential. The aim of this study is to further analyse the effectiveness of Lapas as part of law enforcement in Indonesia as well as attempts to enhance it if seen from existing facts. In this study, the method of writing normative or doctrinal jurisprudence with the study of library law is to study library materials such as reading and examining scientific books, e-journals of law, regulations of legislation, and various kinds of literature that have relevance to the subject and object of this research.

Abstract

Humans have various types which are called races. The human race can be identified by many things, from the shape of the body to the color of the body. Of the many ways to identify the human race, the author also thinks whether a computer can identify the human race based on skin color. Nowadays, computers have developed in such a way that there are many possibilities that computers can also do this.

Abstract

Virtual Private Network (VPN) technology has an important role in today's world of communication, VPNs are able to create local networks using facilities. Because a corporate VPN can make connecting information easy and secure. But nowadays, VPNs are gaining popularity for personal use due to the increasing number of interactions that require users to surf the web. On a VPN system that uses the Point to Point Tunneling Tradition (PPTP) method that we created, we use a server from Linux that will connect to Windows as a user. So that clients or windows can connect to the web using a VPN server from linux.

Abstract

Tomato (solanum lyco persicum) is a plant from the solanceae family, native to Central and South America, from Mexico and Peru. Tomatoes have a short life cycle and a height ranging from 1 to 3 meters. Currently, farmers often experience disturbances from pests and diseases of tomatoes due to a lack of knowledge. They do not know how to control it and to eliminate pests that reduce productivity. In identifying diseases in tomato plants we use the Forward Chaining method which is a description that starts from knowing the facts and then matching them with IF and IF-THEN rules. Diseases with a high prevalence in tomatoes are: fruit worms, earthworms, green aphids, white flies, fruit flies (bractrotera) and the diseases are: fusarium wilt, leaf spot disease, bacterial spot, fruit rot. This expert system application provides tomato disease information and disease diagnosis, including control solutions that can be used to reduce the risk of tomato crop damage
