Abstract

The development of infrastructure technology in Indonesia has seen a significant and rapid growth. Along with this advancement, the number of construction projects has also increased, thanks to the availability of advanced tools and equipment. In construction projects, it is crucial to adhere to the agreed-upon design and complete the work within the designated timeframe. This ensures that there are no setbacks or delays in the construction process. The objective of this study is to determine the types of Tower Crane heavy equipment used, assess the productivity of the Tower Cranes, and identify the optimal positioning for the Tower Cranes. This research was conducted on the Juanda-Bekasi Transpark Area Development Project. Based on the analysis results, it was found that the project utilizes three Tower Cranes of the C7030-12T type. Tower Crane 1 exhibited the highest productivity, with a value of 3326.3881 kg/hour. Tower Crane 3 had a productivity value of 3286.3825 kg/hour, while Tower Crane 2 had a productivity value of 2069.2752 kg/hour. The highest productivity value for Tower Crane 1 was recorded on September 28, at 4662.57 kg/hour. For Tower Crane 2, the highest productivity value was observed at 2919.52 kg/hour. Tower Crane 3 achieved its highest productivity value on September 8, at 5341.45 kg/hour. Among the three simulations conducted in this study, the optimal configuration for Tower Crane placement was obtained in the second simulation, which involved using two Tower Cranes.

Abstract

The Karian Dam Project is one of a total of 48 dam construction strategic projects in Indonesia that have experienced delays. Based on Addendum 6, the Karian Dam Project is targeted for completion in March 2021. However, the Karian Dam Project experienced delays in several works. This study discusses the factors of delay, the location of the risk of delay, and the work item assistance that causes delays in the Karian Dam Project. The research method used in this study is a quantitativ. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and interviews. The obtained data is then analyzed using the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method to find the source of risk that is the cause of the delay. The subsequent analysis uses the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to assess the risks that have been identified using the FTA method for risk capture. According to the findings, there are 47 potential sources of delay in the FTA method. After calculating the probability index, it is found that activity A9-1 (planning and implementation) has the highest probability index value of 4. The FMEA method obtains the highest value of the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) there is R-42 (planning change) with an RPN value of 64, and on arrest risk using the search risk matrix, as many as 9 risks are at high risk (high risk).

Abstract

Construction work, especially building construction, has a high risk of work accidents, because it involves many elements. Now in building construction projects, the importance of knowledge about K3 and the ability of workers has become a basic need. Attitudes towards occupational safety also have an important role, because they can reflect the level of attention a person has to work safety aspects. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze whether the knowledge and ability of building construction workers affect attitudes on accident risk. The approach applied is an associative approach. The population in this study is individuals involved in building construction, with the total population obtained is 44 respondents. Data is collected through the use of online questionnaires through the Google Form platform. After that, the data was analyzed using SEM-PLS 4.0 software. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between workers' knowledge of attitudes with a path coefficient value of 0.348. There is a positive and significant influence between the ability of workers to attitudes with a path coefficient value of 0.484. There is a moderate influence between workers' knowledge and ability on attitudes, as evidenced by the R2 value obtained 0.598.

Abstract

Construction projects require working time specifications that need to be completed in a short time. But in practice, some interfere with the implementation. This study aims to determine whether the OHS system has been implemented in construction projects. The applications of risk management in construction projects. This study was conducted as part of the Shipunten Agung Hill River Flood Management Project in the Labuan District. The method used is the distribution of questions to be filled out by respondents who are involved in projects in the OHS Section. The type of research in this research is quantitative. Quantitative research is research that distributes surveys in the form of questionnaires to respondents and the data is processed to determine the correlation between the results of the data obtained. Processing data in this study using SPSS v.20 software to test simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the K3 system had been applied to the project by 64.8%. The most dominant variable affecting the implementation of the OHS system and the application of risk management in construction projects is that signs/signs/information about the project have been installed around the project site with a coefficient value of 6,053 and the variable that has the lowest effect on the application of the OHS system and the application of risk management to the project.

Abstract

In the implementation of construction projects, problems are often found, such as delays. One of the solutions is by accelerating. Acceleration is not only done to overcome delays, but can also be done if there is a special request from the owner. This study discusses the acceleration of time and cost using the crashing method in an apartment construction project in Bekasi City, which aims to determine the optimal time and cost of the three alternatives used. The work that is accelerated is some structural work that is on the critical path. Acceleration is carried out with three alternatives, namely the addition of working hours, the addition of labor, and the combination of additional working hours and additional labor. The results showed that with the alternative of adding working hours, the implementation time was 298 days at a cost of Rp. 140,751,032,332, obtaining a time efficiency of 5.7% and a cost efficiency of 0.42%. With the alternative of adding labor, the implementation time is 292 days at a cost of Rp. 140,092,976,595, 7.59% time efficiency and 0.89% cost efficiency are obtained. With the alternative of adding working hours and additional labor, the implementation time is 290 days at a cost of Rp. 139,912,527,724, 8.23% time efficiency and 1.02% cost efficiency are obtained. Then it can be concluded that the alternative with the most optimal time and cost is the combined alternative of adding working hours and adding labor.

Abstract

The Indonesian Government through the Minister of Public Works and Housing has recently issued Regulation Number 10 of 2021 concerning guidelines for the Construction Safety Management System (SMKK). This regulation must be implemented during construction as it is part of project planning and control. The objectives of this research are to analyze the level of influence of PUPR Ministerial Regulation No.10 of 2021 on improving SMKK implementation in the basement construction project of the Great Mosque of Serang City, to identify hazards that can cause accidents in the construction work, and to determine control action plans to reduce the risk level of accidents in the Serang City Grand Mosque basement construction work. The conclusion is that PUPR Ministerial Regulation No. 10 of 2021 concerning SMKK has a significant impact. This regulation emphasizes the importance of work safety in construction projects, including the Serang City Grand Mosque basement construction. By using the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, Risk Control Determination, and Opportunity (IBPRP) method, potential hazards can be identified for each type of work. The identification of work risks assessed with low risk level is 23 types of work (32.41%), medium risk level is 39 types of work (54.92%), and high risk level is 9 types of work (12.67%) from a total of 71 work risks. From the analysis of risk control identification using the IBPRP table, one high-risk level work was selected, namely the first floor structure work with the sub-work of formwork dismantling and risk identification of scaffolding collapse. The risk controls identified are using support pipes to strengthen the scaffolding and installing 2-layer railings on the scaffolding, conducting toolbox meetings, safety induction, job training, and ensuring the scaffolding is safe to use, and using PPE (safety shoes, safety helmet, vest, long-sleeved work clothes, gloves, and full body harness).
