Abstract

Film Yuni mengangkat cerita kehidupan remaja yang duduk di bangku SMA di Serang Banten, yang menyuguhkan kondisi masyarakat yang melakukan pernikahan dini, dan faktor yang melatarbelakangi salah satunya adalah pengaruh sosial budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui isu-isu pernikahan dini serta melihat potret dampak buruknya perihal pernikahan dini yang diwakili oleh film Yuni dilihat dari tingkatan realitas, representasi, dan ideologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang dianalisis menggunankan analisis semiotika John Fiske. Subjek dan objek dalam penelitian adalah observasi pada tampilan audio dan visual dalam adegan film. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan representasi pernikahan dini dalam film Yuni dilihat dari tiga level yang dikemukakan John Fiske. Pada level realitas, pernikahan dini dilihat dari aspek penampilan, cara berbicara, perilaku, ekspresi dan lingkungan.

Abstract

This study was conducted to find out how the stages of the talk show program production process on the Islamic Center Dakwah Channel in East Kalimantan in presenting communication messages and how the strategy for planning and presenting the talk show program production on the Dakwah Islamic Center East Kalimantan Channel in presenting communication messages. This research was descriptive and qualitative using analytical techniques from Miles and Huberman. The research location was the East Kalimantan Islamic Da'wah Channel Television Station. Data collection was done by observing, interviewing, and documentation. Informants in this study were three people consisting of producers as well as program directors, presenters, and Master Control Room (MCR) of the Umpat Betakun TV Channel Dakwah Islamic Center East Kalimantan. The results of the study were shown the production stage carried out in the Umpat Betakun program went through three stages, namely Pre- Production which was the initial stage of the entire series of production processes for the Umpat Betakun program, Production was the ongoing stage of production for the Umpat Betakun program, Post-Production was the final stage in the form of evaluation between event directors and production team. As the program planning strategies, such as determining themes, determining broadcast times, and utilizing social media to promote the program and in the presentation strategy, the Umpat Betakun program was made as relaxed as possible between the resource person and the presenter. The talk show is presented with a deep interactive feel and provides opportunities for viewers at home or the public to participate in interactive dialogue through comments on YouTube live broadcasts or sending messages via WhatsApp chat.

Abstract

Reality shows are among the most popular television programs in Indonesian society. A reality show is a program created based on actual events that happen to an individual or a group without fabrication and is based on facts. One of the programs that once became a ‘favorite’ among Indonesian audiences was Rumah Uya. The AC Nielsen survey agency released rating results for this program, showing that it had one of the highest viewership percentages. Rumah Uya is a show that presents the life problems of individuals to Uya, the host, who then provides solutions to the issues faced. This research employed a qualitative descriptive research method. The data was collected by observing the episode and interviewing the talent who was involved in this show. The result showed that this program labels itself as a reality show. However, its classification becomes ambiguous when examined through the content segmentation, which does not align with the fundamental characteristics of a true reality show. Based on the facts and data, this program is a dramatic reality as it undergoes a casting process and is scripted by the production team.
