Abstract

Interpersonal communication is used in the form of achieving goals, for example, communication between teachers and students, and students and students. The purpose of education would not be realized without skilled and creative educators in carrying out the educational process as communication skills in finding out the strategies for supporting and inhibiting factors that support students' learning interests. Based on that reason, this study took the issue of teacher interpersonal communication in supporting students' learning interests at Madrasah Aliyah Sepaku using a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection tools include interview observations and documentation. The results of this study indicated that the interpersonal communication skills of teachers towards their students during the learning process in class such as creating a conducive and pleasant classroom atmosphere could support students' learning interest and intimacy and concern for their students. Factors supporting interest in learning at school were shown by the types of subjects and more focus during the learning process. The inhibiting factors of students' interest in learning were shown by teachers’ quality in teaching and the difficulty accepting subjects. If students are interested in learning activities, the process of learning would be better.

Abstract

Film Yuni mengangkat cerita kehidupan remaja yang duduk di bangku SMA di Serang Banten, yang menyuguhkan kondisi masyarakat yang melakukan pernikahan dini, dan faktor yang melatarbelakangi salah satunya adalah pengaruh sosial budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui isu-isu pernikahan dini serta melihat potret dampak buruknya perihal pernikahan dini yang diwakili oleh film Yuni dilihat dari tingkatan realitas, representasi, dan ideologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang dianalisis menggunankan analisis semiotika John Fiske. Subjek dan objek dalam penelitian adalah observasi pada tampilan audio dan visual dalam adegan film. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan representasi pernikahan dini dalam film Yuni dilihat dari tiga level yang dikemukakan John Fiske. Pada level realitas, pernikahan dini dilihat dari aspek penampilan, cara berbicara, perilaku, ekspresi dan lingkungan.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are Islamic institutions in Indonesia that are still trusted and in demand by the Indonesian people for elementary, middle, and high schools. Islamic boarding school facilities are also becoming more modern. Based on that, this research focuses on designing a dining room with an ergonomic and aesthetic concept to create an environment that supports the activities of the students. This research used qualitative research methodology, with the main data source being the Al-Mujahidin Samarinda Islamic Boarding School. The study was conducted for 3 months using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation.             The results of this research were the design of the Al-Mujahidin Islamic Boarding School dining room design with a contemporary Islamic theme, with the use of Islamic motifs and patterns, as well as soft color palettes, the Islamic boarding school dining room becomes more than just a place to eat, the atmosphere of the room is rich in spiritual values, in line with Islamic boarding school values, it was successfully created through a combination of Islamic traditions and modern lifestyles. The circulation in this dining room also combines linear and radial by ensuring that efficient and flexible air circulation makes this room comfortable for students to carry out their activities. Stain-resistant wall materials such as paint and gypsum board for the ceiling created a clean, tidy, and comfortable room.             Sufficient natural lighting and well-planned artificial lighting coupled with adequate ventilation and security facilities such as fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, sprinklers, and CCTV provide comfortable and safe protection in the Islamic boarding school environment. Apart from that, the research results also show the design of the dining room. to be more aesthetic and functional, by prioritizing accommodation for its residents’ spiritual, social, and practical needs.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of communication strategies implemented by the Zakat Collection Unit (UPZ) at the Jami’ Jabal Nur Mosque in enhancing service quality and increasing zakat collection. A qualitative descriptive design was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participant observations, and document analysis. Findings indicate that the UPZ employs a multi-pronged communication strategy, incorporating interpersonal communication, the use of social media platforms, religious sermons, and a zakat pickup service. Several facilitating factors were identified, including the involvement of local community leaders, support from the mosque council, and transparent financial management. Conversely, the implementation process is hindered by constraints such as limited human resources and low public awareness regarding zakat obligations. The study concludes that the UPZ’s communication strategies have been effective in building community trust and enhancing participation in zakat distribution. These findings contribute to the growing body of literature on faith-based organizational communication and offer a practical model for other mosque-based zakat management institutions seeking to improve their outreach and service delivery.

Abstract

Diversifikasi pangan menjadi salah satu langkah strategi untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah hasil pertanian sekaligus memperpanjang masa simpan produk segar. Di Desa Ponoragan, Kecamatan Loa Kulu, banyak warga yang berprofesi sebagai petani dan pembudidaya ikan. Sawi menjadi salah satu hasil pertanian utama, sementara ikan nila banyak dibudidayakan oleh warga setempat. khususunya anggota Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT), yang membudidayakan sawi. Namun, karena masa simpannya yang singkat, sawi sering kali hanya dikonsumsi dalam bentuk segar, sehingga belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Untuk itu, kegiatan ini bertujuan mengenalkan inovasi pengolahan sawi menjadi nugget (SAGET – Sawi Nugget) sebagai alternatif konsumsi dan peluang usaha bagi masyarakat. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Action Research (AR), yang diawali dengan penelitian terhadap potensi pengolahan sawi, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan pembuatan nugget bersama Ibu-ibu KWT, dan diakhiri dengan evaluasi hasil. Dalam workshop ini, peserta tidak hanya mendapatkan teori, tetapi juga terlibat langsung dalam setiap tahap pembuatan mulai dari persiapan bahan, pencampuran, pencetakan, hingga proses penggorengan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami teknik pembuatan nugget sawi dan menimbulkan minat untuk mengembangkan produk ini, baik untuk konsumsi rumah tangga maupun sebagai usaha skala kecil. Dengan pendekatan berbasis riset dan aksi, inovasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemanfaatan hasil panen, memperkuat ketahanan pangan lokal, serta membuka peluang ekonomi baru bagi masyarakat Desa Ponoragan
