Abstract

Organizational behavior is a field of study that examines habits, behavior, and the impact of individual involvement with organizations that influence processes within organizations such as in organizations or educational institutions. Organizational culture in education is something that is carried out continuously, making it a characteristic of an educational institution. Organizational behavior and culture in education is a unit that forms a structured system and shapes individual behavior patterns in organizations or educational institutions. The objectives of this research are 1) the concept of organizational behavior in education; 2) the concept of organizational culture in education; 3) behavioral and cultural characteristics of educational organizations. The research method used is a library study that focuses on literature, books, notes and published scientific information. The results of this research are 1) organizational behavior is a study that discusses individuals to obtain information in making decisions to make rules that can be used according to the conditions and situations of the educational environment; 2) organizational culture is the basic assumptions developed within an organization, to serve as a guide for the attitudes and behavior of all its members; 3) the characteristics contained in organizational behavior and culture in education are habits that are carried out repeatedly or continuously in learning to produce a certain behavior and culture that has characteristics that are different from other aspects.

Abstract

Peran kepala sekolah merupakan kunci untuk menjalankan manajemen dengan baik dan terarah terutama manajemen kurikulum. Tujuan penelitian ini guna menjelaskan dan menganalisis implikasi peran kepala sekolah dalam manajemen kurikulum. Pendekatan studi kasus menjadi dasar penelitian ini, observasi dan dokumentasi menjadi teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menunjukkan, peran kepala sekolah dalam proses manajemen kurikulum, diantaranya sebagai perencana kurikulum dan program sekolah, pengawas implementasi kurikulum, serta penanggung jawab kurikulum. Terdapat beberapa hambatan yang mengganggu proses berjalannya kurikulum di lokasi penelitian yaitu SDIT As Syafi’iyah Jambon antara lain; kurangnya pengalaman guru, sedikitinya referensi dan informasi tentang kurikulum merdeka, serta minimnya akses digital dan internet. Namun, kepala sekolah meminimalisir dengan bimtek kurikulum, pelatihan pembelajaran, serta peningkatan fasilitas yang menunjang pembelajaran. Peran kepala sekolah bisa menjadi contoh yang bisa diterapkan di lembaga pendidikan dengan menganalisa sumber daya yang tersedia kemudian memberikan solusi dari permasalahan yang ditemukan

Abstract

The flagship program at Islamic educational institution aims to improve interpersonal and intrapersonal skills of the members, one of which is Moslem Scholar program at SMP Bina Insan Mandiri. The program is focused on teaching public speaking skill from early age. It is expected that the students will be able to deliver Islamic teachings, master Tsaqofah Islamiyah and have the ability to understand the sources of Islamic law well. Therefore, their religious knowledge will be beneficial for the society, both for social and religious activities. It is also expected that the society will understand human beings role as religious beings who have noble characters. This research was conducted by analyzing a case study of the Moslem Scholar flagship program at SMP Bina Insan Mandiri. This research method used descriptive qualitative research through observations and interviews. The results showed that the Moslem Scholar program at SMP Bina Insan Mandiri was carried out through a talent-screening program to accommodate students' interests. This activity aimed at increasing the quality of SMP Bina Insan Mandiri students as well as provisioning the skill to be implemented in the society.
