Abstract

Problems in learning mathematics, especially FPB and KPK material, are caused by many factors, one of which is the characteristics of mathematics. This research aims to determine student learning outcomes on KPK and FPB material in class IV of SDN Krueng Baung using the Problem Based Learning model. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a quantitative approach. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in KPK and FPB material in class IV of SDN Krueng Baung. This is proven by the results of research conducted on the pretest, 4 students (28.57%) received a passing score, while 10 students (71.42%) did not complete it, with an average score of 74.07. In the posttest, students' learning outcomes increased to 12 students (85.71%) and 2 students (14.28%) did not complete them, with an average learning outcome score of 79.21.

Abstract

The learning motivation of grade 2 students at SD Negeri 1 Kualasimpang is still relatively low. This is shown by the lack of enthusiasm of students in participating in learning. This research aims to determine the effect of the Scramble learning model on the learning motivation of grade 2 students at SD Negeri 1 Kualasimpang. This research uses a quasi-experimental research design with a pre-test and post-test design approach. The research sample was 25 grade 2 students at SD Negeri 1 Kualasimpang. The research instrument used was a student learning motivation questionnaire sheet. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence between the Scramble learning model on the learning motivation of grade 2 students at SD Negeri 1 Kualasimpang. This is proven by the sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05. This research concludes that the Scramble learning model can increase the learning motivation of grade 2 elementary school students. The Scramble learning model can be an alternative learning model that can be applied by teachers to increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

This research was motivated by students' lack of understanding of concepts in science learning taught in grade V SDN Kedai Runding, South Kluet District, South Aceh. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of students' understanding of improving concepts in science through the Problem Based Learning Model. The difficulty of students in understanding concepts is indicated by the inability to understand concepts, give examples, explain and conclude the subject matter. The research method used is the method proposed by Kemmis and McTaggart, namely Classroom Action Research. The study was conducted in two cycles with 9 students consisting of 3 male students and 6 female students. The average evaluation test score of students in understanding concepts in cycle I is 60% and increases in cycle II to 88%.Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning model is effective in increasing students' understanding of the concepts in science taught to grade V students of SDN Kedai Runding.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: 1) to determine the application of the problem based learning model in addition and subtraction counting material in class 2 at SDN Kaloy, 2) to determine the increase in the ability to understand addition and subtraction in class 2 students at SDN Kaloy. This research method uses Arikunto's Classroom based action research PTK model. The subjects of this research were 20 grade 2 students at SDN Kaloy, Tamiang Hulu District. There were 2 cycles of action in this research (Cycle I and Cycle II). The data collection techniques used are planning, implementation, observation, reflection and documentation. The results of the research show that: 1) The application of the problem based learning model to the ability to calculate addition and subtraction was carried out in 2 cycles with different results. In Cycle I, the results of observing teacher activities were 87.5 (very good) and the results of observing student activities were 82.8 (good). Meanwhile, in Cycle II there was an increase, the results of observing teacher activities were 92 (very good) and the results of observing student activities were 89 (very good). 2) Improvement in the ability to calculate addition and subtraction of class 2 students at SDN Kaloy in Cycle I, the class average was 79 (fair) which had not yet reached the minimum performance indicator of 80. In Cycle II there was an increase in the class average, namely 86 (very good). The percentage of student learning completeness increased from Cycle I 64% to 84% in Cycle II with an increase of 20%.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes in learning fractions in elementary school are still low, to overcome this problem an effective model is needed. This research aims to describe the improvement in learning outcomes for multiplication and division of fractions using the PBL model in class V of SD Negeri 057761 Kwala Gebang. The research was carried out in two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were 7 class V students at SD Negeri 057761 Kwala Gebang. Research results: RPP observations in cycle I averaged 83.33%, increasing to 97.22% in cycle II. In the observation results from the teacher aspect of cycle I, the average was 73.21%, increasing to 96.42% in cycle II. In the observation results from the student aspect of cycle I, the average was 64.28%, increasing to 92.85% in cycle II. Meanwhile, the learning outcomes of students in cycle I obtained 54.54% completeness, increasing to 95.45% completeness in cycle II. It can be concluded that the PBL model can improve student learning outcomes in learning multiplication and division of fractions in class V of SD Negeri 057761 Kwala Gebang.

Abstract

This service or socialization was motivated by a problem among students at SD Negeri Malaka Class II, namely that many students were still not fluent in reading. This happens because teachers are lacking in implementing literacy movements such as reading 15 minutes before studying, not implementing reading corners in the classroom and not using media and models appropriately, teachers are not playing an active role in inviting students to visit the school library and teachers are not providing assistance to students. in supervising learning, especially Indonesian language learning, namely in the aspect of reading skills, namely reading poetry, therefore it is seen that students lack enthusiasm in learning. The teacher must choose the right model and use interesting, creative and innovative learning media. Therefore, the teacher takes steps by using pop up book media to increase students' reading interest. The approach or method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) which is a research approach that involves active participation from community groups who are research subjects. This method aims to produce knowledge that is relevant, useful and can be applied in everyday life. This activity was carried out at Malaka Class II Elementary School. With the presence of Pop up book media, students will be inspired and increase their interest in reading. by using Media.

Abstract

One concrete element that is very important in efforts to improve the quality of human resources is improving the quality of education. However, in reality, teachers do not develop the creativity to plan, prepare and create mature teaching materials that are rich in innovation so that they are attractive to students. Problems regarding teachers' lack of awareness of the importance of preparing teaching materials that suit their needs, the benefits of teaching materials in preparing learning tools and implementing learning. The community service carried out is based on the aim of improving the ability of teachers at Krueng Baung State Elementary School in compiling and developing teaching materials. This activity was carried out by students from the Elementary School Teacher Education study program. The results of the preparation and production of teaching materials show that all participants understand what teaching materials are and have succeeded in compiling teaching materials according to the preparation process. The results of the teaching materials obtained are in the form of LKPD and Modules. Apart from that, based on the results of the interviews, all participants expressed positive responses to the training activities presented by the presenters. However, the obstacle faced is that teachers have difficulty understanding how to compile student competency indicators in the teaching materials they will create. One of the recommendations and shared commitments from teachers is to always train themselves in their ability to prepare good teaching materials.
