Abstract

This research discusses the smart ladder media for weight units to improve students' understanding of Class III Mathematics at SD Negeri Malaka. The research was motivated by problems found in the field regarding the low understanding of students in mastering the concept of measuring the weight of Class III students at SD Negeri Malaka. The aim of this research is to improve the abilities of Class III students at SD Negeri Malaka. in understanding the concept of measuring the weight of objects in Mathematics subjects. The target of this research was 20 Class III students at SD Negeri Malaka. This research uses a type of classroom action research. From the results of the analysis, it was found that students' understanding of weight measurements in Mathematics lessons showed that there had been an increase in the average from cycle I to cycle II, namely cycle I (68), cycle II (80). The conclusion of this research is that the use of smart ladder media for weight units can facilitate and provide students' understanding of weight units in Mathematics learning.

Abstract

This service is motivated by problems found in the field regarding the low level of understanding of students in mastering the concept of measuring units of weight for Class III students at SD Negeri Malacca, namely that some students still do not understand mathematical concepts in the material about units of weight. This happens because teachers are still not precise in choosing media and models in learning, and teachers do not play an active role, therefore it is seen that students lack enthusiasm in learning. Teachers must choose media and models that are interesting, creative and innovative. Therefore, teachers take steps using Smart Unit Ladder Media to improve students' understanding in mathematics learning. The approach or method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) which is a research approach that involves active participation from community groups who are research subjects. This method aims to produce knowledge that is relevant, useful and can be applied in everyday life. This activity was carried out at Malaka State Elementary School Class III. With the existence of smart ladder media with weight units, students will be motivated and happier and will increase or improve their learning outcomes by using the media.

Abstract

This research aims to increase interest in reading by using pop up book media in class II students at SD Negeri Malaka. This research is collaborative classroom action research. The subjects of this research were class II students at SD Negeri Malaka for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 20 students. The research design used is the Kemmis and Mc model. Taggart. The data collection techniques used in this research are: 1) scale, 2) observation, and 3) documentation. Data analysis techniques use quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research show that class II students' interest in reading at SD Negeri Malaka can be increased by using pop up book media through the steps of observing pop up book media, listening to and reading poetry, asking and answering questions and directing attention to learning. In pre-action, the percentage of students who had a minimum interest in reading had reached a good predicate of 0%. In the first cycle, the percentage increase in the number of students who had a minimum interest in reading reached a good predicate of 45%. In cycle II, the percentage increase in the number of students who had a minimum interest in reading reached a good predicate of 85%.

Abstract

This service or socialization was motivated by a problem among students at SD Negeri Malaka Class II, namely that many students were still not fluent in reading. This happens because teachers are lacking in implementing literacy movements such as reading 15 minutes before studying, not implementing reading corners in the classroom and not using media and models appropriately, teachers are not playing an active role in inviting students to visit the school library and teachers are not providing assistance to students. in supervising learning, especially Indonesian language learning, namely in the aspect of reading skills, namely reading poetry, therefore it is seen that students lack enthusiasm in learning. The teacher must choose the right model and use interesting, creative and innovative learning media. Therefore, the teacher takes steps by using pop up book media to increase students' reading interest. The approach or method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) which is a research approach that involves active participation from community groups who are research subjects. Abstract

Degradasi beton bertulang akibat penetrasi ion klorida merupakan salah satu penyebab utama penurunan durabilitas struktur di lingkungan laut. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perubahan kimia pada pasta semen beton bertulang sebelum dan sesudah direndam dalam air laut buatan melalui pendekatan Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). Spesimen beton bertulang direndam dalam larutan NaCl 3,5% selama 15 dan 30 hari untuk mengevaluasi evolusi gugus fungsi yang berkaitan dengan hidrasi semen, karbonasi, dan pembentukan senyawa klorida terikat. Hasil FTIR menunjukkan bahwa pada kondisi awal, karakteristik spektrum didominasi oleh gugus O–H, Si–O, dan CO₃²⁻ tanpa adanya indikasi interaksi dengan klorida. Setelah 15 hari perendaman, terjadi penurunan intensitas pita O–H, modifikasi vibrasi Si–O, serta munculnya pita baru pada rentang 600–800 cm⁻¹ yang mengindikasikan tahapan awal pembentukan senyawa aluminat–klorida. Pada hari ke-30, perubahan spektral semakin jelas dengan penguatan pita karbonat, pergeseran puncak Si–O, dan peningkatan intensitas pita 460–750 cm⁻¹ yang kompatibel dengan pembentukan Friedel’s salt. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa FTIR mampu mendeteksi perubahan kimia mikrostruktur secara bertahap akibat penetrasi klorida, mulai dari modifikasi C–S–H hingga terbentuknya klorida terikat. Dengan demikian, FTIR terbukti efektif sebagai metode identifikasi dini proses degradasi kimia beton bertulang di lingkungan laut.
