Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan para dosen dalam pembuatan artikel penelitian untuk menembus jurnal nasional dan jurnal internasional bereputasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu kegiatan perencanaan, kegiatan pelaksanaan dan kegiatan evaluasi. Metode yang dipergunakan dalam pelaksanaan acara tersebut adalah metode ceramah dan diskusi. Pemateri dalam acara ini adalah dosen anggota LPPM STISIP Samudera Indonesia Selatan. Pelatihan ini sangat dibutuhkan mengingat kemampuan menulis artikel ilmiah akan sangat membantu karir dosen dan berdampak pada kinerja penelitian institusi. Pelatihan ini fokus pada pembahasan secara rinci tentang pentingnya publikasi dan pembuatan artikel ilmiah penelitian. Hasil evaluasi dilakukan dengan membandingkan score pretest dan score posttest. Terjadi peningkatan pemahaman pada mayoritas peserta pelatihan. Mayoritas peserta sudah memahami dengan baik cara membuat artikel ilmiah penelitian. Pemahaman meningkat secara merata, baik dalam menyusun bagian pendahuluan yang menarik, literature review, pemilihan metode penelitian yang tepat, hasil dan pembahasan yang akurat, kesimpulan dan rekomendasi yang relevan. Harapan kepada para peserta memiliki motivasi yang tinggi untuk mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah dan terus belajar serta melatih kemampuan menulis artikel ilmiah sehingga keahlian ini dapat menunjang karir para peserta dan mendukung kinerja institusi.

Abstract

This empowerment aims to increase the role of village government in improving community welfare and reducing inhibiting factors. This research uses qualitative methods in the form of descriptive research. The selection of informants was carried out purposively, where data was collected using interviews, observation and documentation studies. Data is collected from various sources until sufficient data is obtained. The data obtained is then analyzed interactively. Community empowerment in Bayongbong Village, Garut Regency, which is carried out by the village government, is carried out through human development, business development, environmental development and institutional development activities, however, in community empowerment there are still various obstacles, including socialization that has not been maximized, a community mindset that finds it difficult to take innovation for granted. , new ideas and knowledge, limited budgets and the existence of several government regulations which are considered to hinder community empowerment because they are not in accordance with regional needs and potential, so it is necessary to increase and strengthen the government's role in community empowerment which must be further optimized, village government officials to increase cooperation well and fostering harmonious relationships both with community institutions and with the community, it is necessary to pay attention to the obstacles that hinder the community empowerment process so that they can be used as a reference in the next program.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of Garut Regency regional government policy in managing street vendors in the Pengkolan area and the factors that hinder it. Using qualitative methods with descriptive analysis. Where data collection used includes observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research concluded that the local government had communicated to street vendors both persuasively and repressively. Human resources implementing policies are ready in quality and quantity to carry out their duties and functions. Meanwhile, equipment resources are still limited and cannot accommodate a large number of street vendors. Limited budget is a problem for relocating street vendors from red zones. The policy implementers already have a strong attitude and commitment to implementing government policies in structuring street vendors in the Pengkolan area. The arrangement of street vendors in the Pengkolan area has involved various related agencies and stake holders. In the field, factors found to be obstacles were the government's lack of seriousness in enforcing criminal and civil sanctions, the lack of awareness of street vendors regarding the rules and the reluctance of street vendors to be relocated.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how internal communication influences the work effectiveness of employees in Karang Tengah District, Garut Regency. The research uses descriptive methods with survey techniques with emphasis on the concept of measuring internal communication according to Davis & John W Newstrom and measuring employee work effectiveness according to Jamin. The research population was 30 sub-district employees, all of whom were used as respondents using census techniques. The data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires, interviews and literature study. The research results show that there is a significant influence of internal communication on employee work effectiveness. This can be seen from the large influence of internal communication variables on employee work effectiveness of 47%, while the remaining 53% is influenced by other factors including employee work motivation. Suggestions that can be put forward are for leaders to frequently interact directly with employees, either through face-to-face or casual chatting, so that employees feel cared for, providing information regularly by maximizing the various communication media that are available. Leaders should continuously develop employees' technical abilities, leaders should make clear reward and compensation provisions so that they can motivate employees to work without just doing tasks without responsibility so that the amount of work can be as targeted and completed on time.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pemberian insentif dan disiplin kerja  terhadap kinerja petugas pencatat meter air Perumda Air  Minum  Tirta Intan baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei, yaitu dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada seluruh petugas pencatat meter air Perumda  Air  Minum Tirta Intan dan dilengkapi dengan data sekunder baik dari literatur yang tersedia  dari dalam maupun luar Perumda Air Minum Tirta Intan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil yang memperlihatkan bahwa secara uji simultan insentif dan disiplin berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja sebesar 0,419. Secara parsial insentif dan disiplin masing-masing juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja. Koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa insentif dan disiplin dapat menjelaskan kinerja dengan koefisien korelasi antara kedua variabel tersebut adalah kuat.

Abstract

 The problem raised in this research is the procedures for drafting  and the procedures for discussing the draft regulations at the discussion stages at levels I and II by the DPRD. This research uses qualitative methods with case study techniques. Data collection using field studies includes observations, interviews and documentation. The selection of informants was carried out purposively and the data results were analyzed interpretively.The research results show the draft proposal came from the executive, namely Dinas Perhubungan, which was then discussed by the DPRD as the legislature in the discussion process at levels I and II so that a mutual agreement was obtained between the Dinas Perhubungan and DPRD that the draft regional regulation was worthy of being declared a regional regulation, to support investment creation and job creation, Regional Regulation no. 10 of 2022 concerning the Implementation of Transportation must be socialized to the public so that it is understood and implemented, it is necessary to make a Keputusan Bupati as a technical guide that specifically discusses parking and railways, there needs to be a compromise between factions so that  community in the administration of transportation are not neglected.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pengadaan barang/jasa melalui pengadaan langsung pada Badan Layanan Umum Daerah Rumah Sakit Umum Dr. Slamet Garut serta faktor-faktor yang menghambatnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan antara lain observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa pengadaan barang/jasa melalui pengadaan langsung pada Badan Layanan Umum Derah Rumah Sakit Umum dr. Slamet belum efektif, diukur berdasarkan pendekatan sasaran menurut Lubis dan Martani dengan indikator sebagaimana tertuang dalam Kep.Direktur RSUD dr. Slamet No. 445/1.1/RSUD/I/2019 yaitu tercapainya aspek kualitas, jumlah, waktu, biaya dan penyedia yang menerapkan prinsip transparan, terbuka, bersaing, adil dan akuntabel. Adapun saran yang dikemukakan UKPBJ Dr. Slamet hendaknya lebih selektif dalam menentukan penyedia sehingga kualitas barang/jasa yang dikerjakan penyedia dapat sesuai dengan Kerangka Acuan Kerja, hendaknya memiliki website tersendiri untuk mempublikasikan data dan pelaporan terkait pengadaan barang/jasa pada BLUD RSUD dr. Slamet, hendaknya lebih meningkatkan persaingan usaha yang sehat dengan memberikan persyaratan yang diinformasikan secara terbuka, melaksanakan pelatihan atau pembinaan agar menghasilkan sumberdaya manusia yang kompeten dan berkualitas serta memiliki Sertifikat Keahlian Pangadaan Barang/Jasa sesuai dengan kompetensi yang dipersyaratkan.

Abstract

KKNT PTMGRMD (Thematic Community Service Lecture for Independent Universities for Village Development) is a program that involves students from various universities including IPI GARUT, STIKES KARSA HUSADA GARUT, and STISIP SAMUDERA INDONESIA SELATAN to provide direct contributions to village development, which are placed in Cigadog village. The main objective of the KKNT PTMGRMD program is to improve the quality of life of the community through various empowerment programs, shape students into graduates who have high competence and social awareness, and build close relationships between the academic world and the community. This community service activity is carried out through health workshop activities, namely holding counseling on stunting prevention and how to overcome it to the community of Cigadog Village, Cikelet District, Garut Regency. This activity was carried out by KKNT PTMGRMD students, who collaborated with a team of health workers from the Cimari health center and village midwives. KKNT PTMGRMD students also conducted free health checks for the people of Cigadog village. This stunting counseling was attended by mothers and posyandu cadres who were greeted enthusiastically, because many of them still do not understand the symptoms of stunting and how to overcome it. In addition, by holding this stunting counseling, they become aware of the characteristics and causes, as well as how to overcome the symptoms of stunting. This stunting handling counseling was successfully carried out by KKNT PTMGRMD students in Cigadog Village and received a positive response from the local community.
