Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan para dosen dalam pembuatan artikel penelitian untuk menembus jurnal nasional dan jurnal internasional bereputasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu kegiatan perencanaan, kegiatan pelaksanaan dan kegiatan evaluasi. Metode yang dipergunakan dalam pelaksanaan acara tersebut adalah metode ceramah dan diskusi. Pemateri dalam acara ini adalah dosen anggota LPPM STISIP Samudera Indonesia Selatan. Pelatihan ini sangat dibutuhkan mengingat kemampuan menulis artikel ilmiah akan sangat membantu karir dosen dan berdampak pada kinerja penelitian institusi. Pelatihan ini fokus pada pembahasan secara rinci tentang pentingnya publikasi dan pembuatan artikel ilmiah penelitian. Hasil evaluasi dilakukan dengan membandingkan score pretest dan score posttest. Terjadi peningkatan pemahaman pada mayoritas peserta pelatihan. Mayoritas peserta sudah memahami dengan baik cara membuat artikel ilmiah penelitian. Pemahaman meningkat secara merata, baik dalam menyusun bagian pendahuluan yang menarik, literature review, pemilihan metode penelitian yang tepat, hasil dan pembahasan yang akurat, kesimpulan dan rekomendasi yang relevan. Harapan kepada para peserta memiliki motivasi yang tinggi untuk mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah dan terus belajar serta melatih kemampuan menulis artikel ilmiah sehingga keahlian ini dapat menunjang karir para peserta dan mendukung kinerja institusi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how internal communication influences the work effectiveness of employees in Karang Tengah District, Garut Regency. The research uses descriptive methods with survey techniques with emphasis on the concept of measuring internal communication according to Davis & John W Newstrom and measuring employee work effectiveness according to Jamin. The research population was 30 sub-district employees, all of whom were used as respondents using census techniques. The data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires, interviews and literature study. The research results show that there is a significant influence of internal communication on employee work effectiveness. This can be seen from the large influence of internal communication variables on employee work effectiveness of 47%, while the remaining 53% is influenced by other factors including employee work motivation. Suggestions that can be put forward are for leaders to frequently interact directly with employees, either through face-to-face or casual chatting, so that employees feel cared for, providing information regularly by maximizing the various communication media that are available. Leaders should continuously develop employees' technical abilities, leaders should make clear reward and compensation provisions so that they can motivate employees to work without just doing tasks without responsibility so that the amount of work can be as targeted and completed on time.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pemberian insentif dan disiplin kerja  terhadap kinerja petugas pencatat meter air Perumda Air  Minum  Tirta Intan baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei, yaitu dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada seluruh petugas pencatat meter air Perumda  Air  Minum Tirta Intan dan dilengkapi dengan data sekunder baik dari literatur yang tersedia  dari dalam maupun luar Perumda Air Minum Tirta Intan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil yang memperlihatkan bahwa secara uji simultan insentif dan disiplin berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja sebesar 0,419. Secara parsial insentif dan disiplin masing-masing juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja. Koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa insentif dan disiplin dapat menjelaskan kinerja dengan koefisien korelasi antara kedua variabel tersebut adalah kuat.

Abstract

Conflict between students is an unavoidable dynamic in the school environment, especially at the primary and secondary education levels. If not managed properly, these conflicts can have a negative impact on students' social-emotional development and disrupt the creation of a conducive learning atmosphere. This study is motivated by the importance of conflict management as part of strategic efforts in creating child-friendly schools. The purpose of this study is to analyze the forms of conflict between students, evaluate the conflict management strategies used by the school, and assess the effectiveness of the approach in creating a safe, inclusive and comfortable educational environment for all learners. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation in one of the public elementary schools that implement a child-friendly school program. The results showed that conflicts that often occur are related to differences of opinion, academic competition, and social dynamics. Conflict management strategies implemented include mediation by teachers, student discussion forums, and habituation of tolerance and empathy values. The conclusion of this study states that conflict management based on a humanist and participatory approach is proven to be able to reduce the intensity of conflict and strengthen social relations between students.

Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) memegang peranan strategis dalam pembentukan karakter, spiritualitas, dan kompetensi dasar anak-anak Muslim sejak dini. Keunikan MI terletak pada integrasi antara fungsi akademik dan keagamaan dalam satu sistem pendidikan. Namun, penyelenggaraan layanan pendidikan yang berkualitas, khususnya dalam dua model yaitu reguler dan boarding school, menghadirkan tantangan besar dalam hal manajemen pembiayaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis manajemen pembiayaan pada dua sistem pendidikan yang diterapkan di MI Kebon Cinta Cirebon, yaitu sistem reguler dan boarding school. Fokus kajian meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan pembiayaan pada masing-masing sistem. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MI Kebon Cinta menerapkan strategi pembiayaan yang berbeda pada masing-masing sistem untuk menyesuaikan kebutuhan operasional, fasilitas, serta pelayanan pendidikan. Pada sistem reguler, pembiayaan lebih sederhana dengan sumber utama dari dana BOS dan yayasan, sedangkan pada sistem boarding school, pembiayaan mencakup kebutuhan asrama, konsumsi, dan kegiatan pembinaan karakter yang bersumber dari iuran bulanan santri serta subsidi yayasan. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan keuangan, pihak madrasah mampu menjaga efisiensi dan transparansi melalui sistem pencatatan dan pengawasan yang cukup baik. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan model manajemen pembiayaan yang adaptif dan kontekstual pada madrasah dengan sistem ganda.

Abstract

This article analyzes the impact of soft skills development on the performance of educators and educational staff at Yayasan Alghifari, using a quantitative approach through an ex post facto method and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of existing soft skills training programs and their relationship with performance aspects such as communication, collaboration, adaptability, and problem-solving. The results show that several factors have a highly significant and significant impact on other variables. Stress management has a highly significant effect on adaptability (path coefficient = 0.523, p-value = 0.000), followed by the significant effect of adaptability on leadership (path coefficient = 0.412, p-value = 0.001). Moreover, effective communication is found to significantly enhance collaboration and teamwork (path coefficient = 0.689, p-value = 0.000), which, in turn, significantly contributes to problem-solving ability (path coefficient = 0.612, p-value = 0.000). Problem-solving also has a highly significant impact on innovation and creativity (path coefficient = 0.754, p-value = 0.000). Other factors with a significant impact include listening skills on collaboration and teamwork (path coefficient = 0.321, p-value = 0.002), and professional ethics and responsibility on innovation and creativity (path coefficient = 0.467, p-value = 0.000). However, the hypothesis testing the effect of time management on problem-solving ability did not show significant results (path coefficient = 0.089, p-value = 0.145). These findings offer new insights into the importance of factors such as stress management, effective communication, and problem-solving in enhancing innovation and creativity within organizations. The strength of this article lies in its significant findings, which provide a solid foundation for improving human resource development policies in the education sector, particularly in the development of relevant and applicable soft skills for educators and educational staff
