Abstract

Penambahan pakan daun kelor (Moringa Oleifera) pada ikan cupang merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan warna dan reproduksi pada ikan cupang (Betta sp.). Pada penelitian ini, selama pemeliharaan induk ikan cupang diberi pakan yang dicampur tepung daun kelor dan pakan komersial yang telah dihancurkan, kemudian pakan tersebut dicetak kembali/ repelleting. Pakan diberikan sebanyak dua kali sehari. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pakan yang dicampur tepung daun kelor pada ikan cupang mampu meningkatkan fekunditas, daya tetas telur, tingkat kelangsungan hidup dibandingkan perlakuan A serta warna merah yang lebih pekat. Perlakuan A memiliki fekunditas sebanyak 68 butir dan perlakuan B sebanyak 101 butir. Daya tetas telur perlakuan B lebih besar persentasenya dibanding perlakuan A, yaitu 23,53% perlakuan A dan 89% perlakuan B, sedangkan untuk tingkat kelangsungan hidup perlakuan B lebih tinggi persentasenya dibanding perlakuan A, yaitu 30% untuk perlakuan A dan 50% perlakuan B. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pengamatan penambahan daun kelor pada pakan ikan cupang menghasilkan perbedaan warna pada ikan cupang. Perlakuan dengan pakan campuran tepung daun kelor memiliki warna yang cenderung lebih pekat dan tersebar. Warna induk pada perlakuan tanpa campuran tepung daun kelor menunjukkan warna yang lebih pucat dari perlakuan dengan pakan campuran tepung daun kelor. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dengan penambahan tepung daun kelor pada pakan akan meningkatkan kualitas reproduksi dan warna ikan cupang (Betta sp).

Abstract

Potensi perikanan di Sungai Undang khususnya perikanan budidaya ikan patin dan ikan nila selain itu juga potensi penangkapan ikan lokal tinggi. Hal ini menyebabkan Masyarakat menjadikan profesi yang sangat diandalkan masyarakat Desa. Selain sebagai matapencaharian utama Masyarakat Sungai undang, profesi ini menjadikan pencaharian sampingan untuk menyiasati pemasukan masyarakat. Kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pembenihan ikan lokal, pembuatan pakan, dan penanganan hama dan penyakit budidaya ikan, maka dilakukan pembimbingan dan pembinaan Masyarakat Desa Sungai Undang. Pembimbingan dan pembinaan Masyarakat diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan dan meningkatkan ekonomi Masyarakat Sungai Undang. Pembimbingan dan pembinaan dilakukan dalam bentuk praktik langsung mengenai pembenihan ikan papuyu (penyuntikan), pembuatan pakan ikan, dan penanganan hama dan penyakit ikan, serta pembagian brosur sebagai catatan atau bekal untuk pembudidaya menerapkan manajemen budidaya ikan yang baik serta penyakit yang sering menyerang ikan.

Abstract

The problem faced by fish farmers in Lingga is that the feed is quite expensive and rarely found on the local market. The existence of shrimp heads and fish bones are often found in Dabo as waste from processed shrimp crackers and fish balls that have not been utilized. The research aimed to evaluate the quality of fish feed from local fish meal, shrimp head meal and fish bone meal based on organoleptic, physical, and chemical tests. The treatments tested in this study consist of three threatments, namely: feed A (48%), feed B (35%), and feed C (comercial feed). The organoleptic showed that feed have a fibrous texture, typical coconut aroma, and brown color. The results of water stability showed that feed A (86,50 minutes±1,63), B (87,00 minutes±1,29), C (91,75  minutes±0,96) and dispersion of solids feed A (9,38% ±0,95), B (9,50%±0,71), C (8,63%±0,85). The sinking velocity showed that feed A (3,79 cm/s±0,23), B (3,32 cm/s±0,24), C (4,61 cm/s±0,18). The hardness level of feed A (91,63%±1,38), B (91,38%±2,66), C (94,63%±2,14). The proximate of feed has a moisture of 7,53% (A); 5,28% (B); 6,69% (C), ash of 19,95% (A); 17,85% (B); 12,03% (C), crude protein of 49,07% (A); 36,14% (B); 31,23% (C), crude lipid of 4,28% (A); 4,90% (B); 11,63% (C), and carbohydrate 19,19% (A); 35,84% (B); 38,43% (C). The results of  physical and proximate  indicated that ingredients local feedstuff have the potential as fish feed except moisture and ash.

Abstract

The use of fish ponds in tall buildings in Indonesia is increasingly popular along with increasing awareness of the importance of a healthy environment and architectural aesthetics. This study aims to analyze the effects of using fish ponds in tall buildings in Indonesia from various perspectives, including environmental, health and economic. This research uses a literature review method by collecting data from various relevant sources. The analysis results show that fish ponds in tall buildings can provide significant benefits, such as improving air quality, reducing stress, and increasing property value. However, there are also challenges to consider, such as treatment costs and potential health problems

Abstract

Campus introduction activities are a form of community service which aims to provide information about the world of higher education and help high school students in determining future career choices. This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Kuala Pembuang, Seruyan Regency, using interactive presentation and discussion methods. The results of the activity showed that students felt more motivated and had a clearer picture of the steps they should take after graduating from high school. Information about various majors and scholarship opportunities is of great interest to students, especially those who have financial constraints. Evaluation shows that this activity succeeded in reducing students' anxiety regarding college entrance selection and provided positive encouragement for them. This campus introduction activity has a significant impact in preparing students to continue their education to a higher level and this service is concrete evidence of the tridharma of higher education, namely Teaching, Research and Community Service.
