Abstract

This research aims to explain the influence of the minimum wage, population and inflation on the unemployment rate in Kupang Regency. This research is quantitative research with time series data for 19 years, namely in the observation period 2004-2022. The data used are minimum wage growth rate data, population growth rate data and inflation rate data sourced from the Kupang Regency Central Statistics Agency. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis which is processed using Eviews-12 software. The results of this research show that partially the minimum wage variable has a positive relationship and hasa significant effect onthe unemployment ratein Kupang Regency. Meanwhile, the population variable and the inflation variable do not have a significant effect on the unemployment rate in Kupang Regency. Simultaneously, the variables minimum wage, population and inflation have a significant effect on the unemployment rate in Kupang Regency.

Abstract

This research reviews customer experiences regarding the claims process at insurance companies, with a focus on expiry of contract claims, cash value claims and maintenance cost claims. The findings show that customers generally complain about the slow claim process, which significantly influences negative perceptions of the company's services. While customers appreciate good communication and transparency in claims procedures, there is still a need to increase clarity regarding claims terms and conditions. Customers also highlighted the desire for simplification in the collection of required documents, considering complicated processes as a major obstacle that needs to be overcome. The company's responsiveness to questions and complaints is considered quite good, but there is hope to improve the speed of response, especially in handling claims. These findings indicate the need for insurance companies to focus on improving the efficiency of the claims process and more effective communication to increase customer satisfaction and improve the company's reputation. In the competitive context of the insurance industry, effective management of the claims process is crucial to maintaining customer satisfaction and maintaining their loyalty. This research shows that customers not only want a fast and efficient claims process but also expect transparency and convenience at every stage of the claim. Insurance companies can utilize these findings to identify areas that require improvement, such as simplifying the claims process and increasing the accessibility of information regarding claim requirements. Abstract

This research aims to explain the impact of the construction of the Ropa PLTU on sustainable development in Keliwumbu Village, Maurole District, Ende Regency, in the form of socio-economic and environmental impacts on the community of Keliwumbu Village. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the development of the Ropa PLTU industry has had an impact on sustainable development in the socio-economic dimension of the Keliwumbu Village community in the form of changes in community income, availability of employment opportunities, opening up of new economic business opportunities, changes or additions to sources of livelihood, good community education and quality of health. society is not good. The environmental impact is environmental pollution felt by the people of Keliwumbu Village, pollution caused by PLTU liquid waste and coal loading and unloading dust which pollutes the ocean and beach sand turns black, and coal loading and unloading dust causes air pollution, reducing fishermen's catches and harvests. farmers, highways are damaged due to passing coal-laden vehicles.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the role of pawnshops inKUR (People’s Business Credit) financing for economicdevelopment in Kupang City using a descriptive qualitativeapproach. The research subjects were employees and staff at PT.Pegadaian (Credit Provision Unit) and KUR recipients from thepawnshop. Data were collected through observation, interviews,and documentation techniques. The data sources in this studyconsisted of primary and secondary data. The research findingsindicate that the Pension Fund of the NTT Regional DevelopmentBank experienced a funding deficit. The results also show that thePeople’s Business Credit (KUR) financing provided by pawnshopssignificantly helps MSMEs (Micro, Small, and MediumEnterprises) manage financial resources for operations, run theirbusinesses, increase income, and improve community performance.MSME income increased, and if the increase continues afterreceiving KUR financing, pawnshops may expand their financingsimulations to larger amounts, provided the loans are performingand income continues to grow after receiving KUR support fromthe pawnshop.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the planning of Income Tax Article 21 to minimize the income tax burden at PDAM Ruteng. The research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach by analyzing employee tax calculations to reduce the company's income tax burden in accordance with current regulations. The data is processed using descriptive analysis, which involves collecting and classifying existing data. The study uses both primary and secondary data sources, including primary data from interviews and secondary data from company archives, literature studies, and documentation. The data is then analyzed using the Gross Up method. The results indicate that tax planning can minimize the company's corporate income tax burden. Prior to implementing tax planning using the Gross Up method, the tax burden amounted to IDR 268,937,814. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan pajak penghasilan pasal 21 untuk meminimalkan beban pajak penghasilan pada PDAM Ruteng. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Kualitatif yang mengarah pada pendekatan studi kasus dengan cara menganalisis perhitungan pajak pajak karyawan untuk meminimalkan beban pajak penghasilan badan dan menyesuaikan dengan peraturan yang berlaku saat ini. Data tersebut diolah dengan analisis desktiprif yaitu mengumpulkan dan mmengklarifikasi data yang sudah ada. Data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan sekunder, sumber data yang dihasilkan yaitu data primer berupa hasil wawancara dan data sekunder berupa arsip perusahaan dan studi pustaka serta dokumentasi yang kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode Gross Up. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perencanaan pajak dapat meminimalkan beban  pajak badan perusahaan. Sebelum perencanaan pajak menggunakan metode Gross Up sebesar Rp268.937.814.

Abstract

Purpose: The aim of this training to develop the skills and expertise of horticultural farmer groups through digital marketing to increase farmer income. Methodology/approach: The method used is socialization and training for horticulture farmer groups, Langke Rembong, Central Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. This training begins with the socialization of increasing the value of horticultural products and marketing strategies through online marketing. Training to increase the value of horticultural products is carried out on online packaging and marketing using social media. Results/findings: Socialization and training activities have provided knowledge transformation and direct application regarding increasing the value of horticultural farming products and online marketing in the form of Facebook business. and increasing sales of horticultural farming products and expanding market networks thereby providing economic improvements for farmer groups in Langke Rembong. Conclusions: This community service program successfully enhanced the value of horticultural products through digitalization and online marketing, while strengthening the farmers’ economy in Langke Rembong through continuous assistance. Limitations: This training has not yet reached the stage of distributing horticultural agricultural products to hotels and restaurants in the Labuan Bajo tourism area. Contribution: This training improving their skills to digital marketing and expanding their share market of holticultural products and improving their economics household.
