Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan kognitif mahasiswa program studi HES pada mata kuliah Ilmu Alamiah Dasar di STIS NU Cianjur. Penelitian dilakukan pada mahasiswa semester I Tahun akademik 2022/2023. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen soal menggunakan soal pilihan ganda dengan mengacu pada Taksonomi Bloom revisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan kognitif mahasiswa tertinggi pada kemampuan mengingat (C1) sebesar 81 %, Kemampuan memahami (C2) sebesar 73%, kemampuan mengaplikasikan (C3) sebesar 48%, kemampuan menganalisis (C4) sebesar 42 % dan kemampuan mengevaluasi (C5) sebesar 28%. Secara rerata aspek kemampuan LOTS sebesar 67,3% termasuk kategori tinggi sedangkan aspek kemampuan HOTS sebesar 35%. Maka dapat disimpulkan kemampuan kognitif aspek LOTS lebih tinggi daripada aspek kemampuan HOTS.

Abstract

This research discusses the transformation of education in Saudi Arabia as part of Vision 2030, a strategic initiative to reduce the country's dependence on oil, diversify the economy, and develop the social sector, including education. This transformation includes curriculum reforms, education system modernization, teacher quality improvement, and technology adoption to support learning. The research uses a qualitative approach with relevant literature and policy analysis to understand the steps taken by the Saudi government in creating an inclusive and market-oriented education system. The research findings indicate that educational reforms are key to building competitive human resources, promoting innovation, and strengthening national identity by moderate Islamic principles. However, challenges such as cultural resistance, gender disparities, and the need for adequate infrastructure continue to be obstacles to achieving the goals of Vision 2030. This study concludes that the success of educational transformation requires collaboration between the government, private sector, and society to ensure the sustainability and relevance of reforms in supporting Saudi Arabia's long-term development.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) as a medium for developing teacher professionalism in Sekolah Penggerak. The study was conducted in several Sekolah Penggerak in the Sindangwangi District of Majalengka Regency, involving teachers and school principals as the main participants. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used to explore in-depth data related to the experiences, perceptions, and impact of PMM usage on teacher professional competence. The research findings indicate that PMM significantly contributes to supporting the development of pedagogical and managerial competencies of teachers, especially through its integrated continuous development features. However, its effectiveness is influenced by factors such as technology access, user motivation, and school institutional support. This research recommends strengthening PMM usage training and improving supporting infrastructure to optimize the benefits of this platform in supporting the Sekolah Penggerak program

Abstract

This study is motivated by the urgency of implementing multicultural education in pluralistic societies, particularly within the context of Islamic education. It aims to answer the research question: how is a model of multicultural education management based on Islamic values implemented at SMP IT Al-Mubarok, Tasikmalaya Regency? This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that multicultural education management at SMP IT Al-Mubarok is carried out through three main aspects: (1) planning based on the integration of Islamic and local cultural values; (2) teaching practices that foster tolerance and inclusivity; and (3) continuous evaluation of students' social behavior. This model has a positive impact on strengthening students' character and creating a harmonious school environment amid diversity. The study is relevant as a reference for developing Islamic education management strategies that are responsive to the challenges of multiculturalism in the global era.

Abstract

Deviant behavior among students continues to challenge value-based educational institutions, raising concerns about the effectiveness of spirituality-oriented education in shaping moral self-regulation. This study investigates the role of tarbiyyah ruhiyyah as an internalized spiritual education model in reducing deviant behavior among Islamic secondary school students, with particular emphasis on the differential effects of its core dimensions. Using a quantitative design, survey data were collected from 120 students at a formal Islamic school in Indonesia and analyzed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that spiritually internalized dimensions—namely, individual spiritual strengthening, interaction with the Qur’an, mentoring and moral coaching, and awareness of tazkiyatun nafs—significantly reduce deviant behavior. In contrast, routine religious practices performed without reflective depth show no significant behavioral effect. These results demonstrate that spirituality contributes to moral regulation only when it operates as an internalized, reflective, and relational process rather than as ritual compliance. The study advances moral and character education theory by empirically distinguishing transformative spirituality from ritualistic religiosity and offers practical insights for designing spirituality-based character education programs applicable across diverse cultural and educational contexts.
