Abstract

Abstract : Triage is an important thing to do in emergency unit installation. It is used to determine priority of emergency management to allow medical team handling patients whom need quick management accurately and being capable of improving life opportunity of the patient. Triage begins since a patient enters emergency unit where its nurses assess based on subjective and objective reviews quickly and accurately. However, this process requires supportive knowledge, experience, education, and working environment in determining priority of the patients. This research aims to identify factors correlating to triage decision making of the nurses in Lombok Nusa Tenggara Barat emergency unit. It is an analytic observational research with cross sectional approach by taking 135 respondents. The findings showed correlation among knowledge, experience, education, and working environment to triage decision making with each p score is 0.000. The most influential variable is knowledge with coefficient B 5.204. Knowledge, experience, education, and working environment influenced triage decision making. It is also expected to have standard requirement for nurses working in triage room so triage may run maximally.

The research population was all teenagers at the Nurul Hidayah prayer room and a sample of 24 people were taken using the Slovin formula with simple random sampling technique. The data collection method used the SWBS and DASS-21 questionnaires. Data analysis used chi-square analysis. The results of this research show that there is an influence of spiritual intelligence on stress with evidence of ? value = 0.009 < ? = 0.05, so that there is a significant influence of spiritual intelligence on stress levels in Nurul Hidayah prayer room teenagers. The higher a teenager's spiritual intelligence, the lower a person's stress level.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the non-communicable diseases that has become a major global public health problem and a leading cause of cardiovascular disease. Lifestyle factors, including diet, physical activity, and smoking habits, play an important role in the onset of hypertension. This study aimed to determine the relationship between lifestyle and the incidence of hypertension in the working area of Janapria Public Health Center, Central Lombok Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 62 respondents with hypertension selected using purposive sampling. Research instruments included a questionnaire to assess lifestyle and blood pressure measurement using a sphygmomanometer. The univariant results showed that most respondents had a sufficient lifestyle, as many as 34 respondents. Then, the blood pressure of most respondents was grade 1 hypertension, as many as 32 respondents. Bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test showed a significant relationship between lifestyle and the incidence of hypertension (p=0.000).  The conclusion of this study is that lifestyle is related to hypertension, where an unhealthy lifestyle increases the risk of hypertension. Health education, promotion of healthy diets, regular physical activity, and stress management efforts are needed to reduce the incidence of hypertension.
