Abstract

Promoting clean and healthy living within households is essential for community well-being. This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach to conduct Public Health and Behavioral Surveillance (PHBS) in Lam Geu Eu Village. The objective of this study is to gather comprehensive data regarding the adoption of clean and healthy lifestyles among Lam Geu Eu Village residents. The study encompasses the entire population of Lam Geu Eu Village, located in the Peukan Bada Subdistrict of the Aceh Besar District, with a total of 473 Family Cards. Among these, a sample of 220 families was selected. The research occurred over a month, from June 22 to July 24, 2023. Results indicate that many clean and healthy living indicators have reached or nearly reached target goals. Key indicators include clean water use, assisted deliveries, and fruit/vegetable consumption. Areas for improvement include eradicating mosquito larvae, increasing physical activity, and promoting handwashing. This study underscores the importance of clean and healthy behaviors in enhancing community well-being and represents a positive step towards improving overall population health.

Abstract

Nationally, only 39% of households use healthy habits, in urban areas (60%) it is higher than in rural areas (23%). The use of latrines is an important health problem in rural areas such as Paya Seumantok Village in Aceh Jaya Regency. Only 19.8% of households have their own toilet in Sukadunia Village. The sample was 196 housewives with children under five, which was carried out in November-December 2023. Data collection was carried out by direct interviews using a questionnaire. The research results showed that only 46.4% of families used latrines, while those who did not use latrines (53.6%) generally used rivers (55.2%) and ponds (38.1%) as a means of defecating. All the variables studied were significantly related, including education, knowledge, attitudes, latrine ownership, clean water facilities, development of community health center officers and support from village officials, Posyandu cadres & NGOs for latrine use. latrine with OR = 27.03 (5.224 – 139.912).

Abstract

The negative influence of gadgets, promiscuity, and drugs on students can be prevented as well as maintaining the reproductive health of women through the dissemination of reproductive health advice. It is hoped that after being given this research, students can understand the impact of gadget gadgets, the dangers of drugs, and promiscuity as well as tips on maintaining reproductive health in women. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of providing counselling on knowledge about the impact of gadget gadgets, the dangers of drugs, and promiscuity on students at MAN 1 Aceh Besar. The research design used is a pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The population is 20 students of MAN 1 Aceh Besar of XI grade. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The data obtained were analyzed using a paired simple t-test statistical test with a degree of meaningfulness of 95% (0.05). The results of the research data collection were mostly 4 (20.0%) moderate category respondents' knowledge, most of the respondents' knowledge was 18 (90.0%) on the high category. The results of the bivariate analysis show that p-value = 0.00 means p value < 0.05. In other words, there is an influence between the provision of research on knowledge in MAN 1 Aceh Besar students about the impact of gadgets, the dangers of drugs and promiscuity and reproductive health on women.

Abstract

High crime rates can have an impact on social stability, quality of life, and economic development in a region. Therefore, it is important to know the socio-cultural factors that influence crime rates in order to provide new insights to support data-based decision making. The relationship between these factors and crime is often non-linear and can be influenced by spatial effects, so a method is needed that considers spatial effects such as the Spatial Autoregressive Moving Average (SARMA). SARMA is not only able to capture spatial autocorrelation patterns, but can also identify the influence of interdependence between regions over a certain period of time. Furthermore, the Lagrange multiplier test is used to see the presence of spatial autocorrelation specifically. From the results of the analysis carried out, there are 4 significant factors, namely population density, unemployment rate, number of places of worship, and average length of schooling. Furthermore, the results of the spatial autocorrelation analysis using LISA show that there are three districts/cities identified as having spatial autocorrelation with a significance level of 0.05. This means that Bone Regency, Maros Regency, and Pangkajene Kepulauan Regency have a more significant influence on the surrounding areas.
