Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada Pokok Bahasan Sumber Daya Alam dengan menggunakan metode tanya jawab di kelas IV SDN Fatufia Kec Bahodopi Kab. Morowali. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan di SDN Fatufia Kec. Bahodopi Kab. Morowali, melibatkan 30 orang siswa terdiri atas 17 orang laki-laki dan 13 orang perempuan yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri atas dua siklus. Di mana pada setiap siklus dilaksanakan dua kali pertemuan di kelas dan setiap siklus terdiri empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tindakan siklus I diperoleh ketuntasan klasikal 30% dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa 60,67 Pada tindakan siklus II diperoleh ketuntasan klasikal 100% dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa 87. Hal ini berarti pembelajaran pada siklus II telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan dengan ketuntasan belajar klsikal minimal 80% dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa minimal 70. Dengan demikian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode tanya jawab dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan sumber daya alam di kelas IV SDN Fatufia Kecamatan Bahodopi Kabupaten Morowali. Abstract

Knowledge of fire disaster response is very necessary to avoid the risk of fire hazards that can occur such as loss of property, injury and even loss of life. The results of the preliminary assessment found that most of the education staff and cleaning service had not received information related to fire disaster response including independent evacuation, around 37 participants (59.5%) were less responsive to fire. Therefore, the community service team conducted fire disaster response counseling through Video Based Education (VBE) to increase the knowledge of educational staff and cleaning service at the Siti Walidah building, University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY). This method of implementing community service activities is carried out by providing education through video media which contains fire prevention in the building and self-evacuation. The results of the implementation of community service activities showed an increase in knowledge about fire disasters among education staff and cleaning service from a less level of knowledge 54%, moderate 46% and high 6% to a high level of knowledge 44%, moderate 39% and less 17%. Through the implementation of community service activities with education using VBE, it can improve knowledge of fire disaster response for education staff and cleaning service at the Siti Walidah UMY building.Keywords:, Disaster Response, Education, Fire, Knowledge Video Based Education

Abstract

Hypertension is a major problem among the elderly characterized by a high and increasing prevalence. However, the knowledge and attitudes of the elderly regarding hypertension are still relatively low. Flipchart education for elderly hypertension patients is one of the efforts to improve the knowledge and attitude of the elderly, as well as increase patient satisfaction with health services. This study aims to determine the effectiveness and impact of flipchart education on the knowledge and attitudes of hypertension patients in the elderly. This study is an experimental study using a quasi-experimental approach. The study population consisted of 136 elderly people diagnosed with hypertension. Sampling was carried out using non-probability sampling method with convenience sampling, namely selecting samples based on convenience and practicality. Data analysis was performed using bivariate analysis with paired sample T-test using SPSS Version 25 software. The results showed that before receiving flipchart education, the elderly had an average knowledge score of 11.43, which increased to 14.46 after the intervention. Similarly, the average attitude score increased from 45.82 before education to 64.70. The paired correlation results showed a significant p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Education with flipchart media is effective and has a significant effect on increasing knowledge and attitudes in elderly people with hypertension.
